Dean is still around so
Stacey Branning will share a passionate kiss with Kush Kazemi on EastEnders later this month as he grows tired of Shabnam Masood's cold behaviour.
Kush (Davood Ghadami) arrives back in Albert Square having been away on holiday, but is quickly reminded of the problems that he left behind as Shabnam continues to act frostily towards him.
The return of Kush comes at a particularly difficult time for Shabnam, who finds her secret under threat when Dean Wicks finds out about the baby she gave birth to following their one-night stand.
Shabnam lies to Dean by insisting that their child died from complications after the birth, but he smells a rat when she seems to be tripping herself up with her false claims.
Despite Stacey's best efforts at getting through to her, Shabnam refuses to be honest with Kush about what is going on. Instead, Shabnam tries to get Kush to back off for good by telling him that her aunt Fatima is setting her up with a new man called Asim, who she is planning to marry.
When Dean confronts Stacey (Lacey Turner) over Shabnam's baby and demands to know whether the child is still alive, Kush is forced to step in and then heads back to Stacey's place for a drink.
The tipsy pair share a passionate kiss as the night continues, and Stacey also betrays her friend's confidence by letting slip Shabnam's big secret. What does this mean for Kush's future with Shabnam?

I like Shabham's relationship with Kush and friendship with Stacey, this is a shame, even if he isn't her mate's fella at the time, Stacey knows how Shabham truly feels about Kush

Meanwhile, Vincent phones Ronnie and pretends to be Carl White. He then warns her that he knows the truth about what happened - she killed Carl. After receiving a worrying threat, Ronnie once again asks Phil for his help - but is Phil out of his depth this time?
Elsewhere, the father of Linda's baby is finally revealed.
Also today, Shabnam's date with Asim becomes awkward when he asks her about having children in the future. Fatima notes Shabnam's frosty behaviour and soon tells her that she knows about the secret baby she had. Although Fatima promises not to expose Shabnam's secret, she urges her to come clean herself. Later, Shabnam bumps into Dean and lets too much slip after misinterpreting his words. Dean is left speculating over Shabnam's strange comments.

Shabnam is trying her best to avoid Dean after her mistake yesterday, but now Masood is becoming suspicious over her strange behaviour. Things get worse when Dean turns up at the Masood house to confront Shabnam about what she said, forcing her to admit that she had a baby after their one-night stand. Failing to tell the full story, Shabnam lies that the baby died from complications.
Later, Shabnam confides in Stacey over the situation before meeting up with Dean again. However, Dean is left more confused than ever when Shabnam starts to trip up over her lies.

Meanwhile, it's a busy time for the Moons as they are preparing to start a new life together, but Kat can't help fearing that it's all going to fall through. Later, Kat and Alfie visit The Vic and share the news of their future plans. When Alfie finds Kat upset in the toilet, she finally opens up about her fears.
Elsewhere, Phil panics when he spots Vincent and Charlie drinking together at The Albert, so he quickly intervenes by putting an end to their conversation.
Also today, Cindy starts to fear that she will still end up responsible for Beth's care after the adoption, since they'll still be living under the same roof.

Kush returns to the Square but grows frustrated over Shabnam's frosty attitude towards him. Stacey tries her best to get Shabnam on the right track, but she refuses to tell Kush the truth. Instead she tells Kush about her new relationship with Asim, making things worse.
Later, Dean confronts Stacey over Shabnam's baby, demanding to know whether the child is still alive. Kush breaks up the row and sends Dean on his way, before heading back to Stacey's place for a drink. Kush and Stacey end up sharing a kiss while tipsy, before Stacey spills the beans to him over Shabnam's big secret...

Also today, Cindy is continuing to question whether her decision to let Jane and Ian adopt Beth is the right one, so she confides in Liam about her fears.

We've seen months of uncertainty, but it's the moment of truth in EastEnders tonight (May 18) as the father of Linda Carter's newborn baby is finally revealed.
Linda gave birth to a baby boy last week, but the heartwarming time for her family was soon tarnished by the contentious issue of whether the dad is Mick or Dean.
Tonight's episode sees Mick's quest for answers continue after he was seen discovering his blood group on Friday.
The information hasn't fully put Mick (Danny Dyer) in the picture as he realises that he also needs to know Dean's blood type before confirming who the father of Linda's baby is.
Back on the Square, Shirley (Linda Henry) remembers that she has some of Dean's medical results from when he was a child, but what will they reveal?

Well, if he needs to know Dean's blood type that means the test results he was clutching in Friday's episode show he could be the father. As they are full brothers, isn't itlikely their blood type will be the same and therefore nothing will be proved one way or the other?
However, we know that is not the case as the father is revealed. All very mystifying!

OK, just checked. It is possible for siblings to have different blood types. It depends on their parents. If they have different types, it could mean they have inherited differently, one from mother, one from father.

As you can see from the following image, depending on the parents' blood types there are up to four different blood types their offspring can have:

Well the spoilers say that we find out definitely tonight so Mick and Dean must be different blood types. My mother (a Caucasian) has a rare blood type (AB I think) by the way.

Yes AB is very rare in Uk only approx 4% of
population are.
10% are B
44% are 0
42% are A
The stats above include Rhesus + or - factors
Some Rhesus negative blood types ( of which
I am one)are also quite rare.
But heres hoping for a"positive" and "lasting"
result tonight.

Well the chart on this thread would say that
cant happen!
And that for child to be O both parents must
either A B or O but not AB.
I did find a bit that said -In less than 1% of
people the genes can split.
If AB parents gene split then the child apears
to be O but they would be carrying a broken
gene. The broken AB gene would be "fixed"
in.next generation.
I dont know if this helps or causes further
confusion.

Well -it was a good one! and got the grey cells
ticking over for a while.
The chart is good but there are some rare
anomalies that you would have to be a
specialist to understand and from info on
internet- they can diffet!!
And proves the point the only reliable answer
on paternity is DNA!
