Kat has already had a twin??????????
The nun said she had a girl and boy!!!

The way Kat and the sister at the convent were describing it only Kat's mother Viv was there but I would think Charlie and Mo would know too

I hope if Kat's son is alive it is a new character and as Parkerman suggested could be in Ireland hence the move

I hope her son is a brand new character that's living in Ireland. The Sean Slater connection might be a deliberate ploy to mislead us, something DTC was very fond of in the Lucy storyline.

I hope Kat and her son will come back to Albert Square after their Irish adventure (I'm not bothered about Alfie). It opens up whole new and exciting horizons for Kat and the Slater family.

I think.its quite possible Kat is unaware for the
reasons you give and also very traumatic to give
birth at 14 in.such circumstances and such
surroundings with no real support. Although this
took place "relatively recently"i-t was still sweep
it under the carpet and what will the
neighbours think days. Rather than consider welfare
of the person who.needed help.
And some religious Individuals and bodies more
judgmental than now.

Agree Kat and son would be better without Alfie.
Im not sure why they cling to the Alfie & Kat concept
( know they are supposed to be popular). Its not
as tho it is a life-time relationship or as if they
have been noticeably happy for much of the time.
She needs to bin him.for good to make the most
of her life and family.

I think they cling to it because Shane Richie has a minority of very vocal fans who don't want Kat and Alfie to split permanently because Alfie would then be a spare part on the show. The Kat/Alfie relationship merry-go-round is very tiresome to most fans though. If the writers want them together they need to stay together permanently and not keep splitting every five minutes.

My preference is that they finish for good and Alfie leaves.
