I think the only clues so far from EE , it is a very popular character who will try to buy the Vic. Speculation suggests Alfie or Sharon . Alfie fails on the popularity vote for me . Certainly seems to be someone who has experienced a lot of ups and downs in their life .:hmm:

I have been asked not to give it away but I'm afraid I can't resist. So, as long as you all promise not to tell anyone, I can reveal who it is who wins the lottery and buys the Queen Vic.
It's Winston. Shhhhh!

what a waste of trifle
I agree and she missed this years Soap Award for
trifles! Anne Kirkbride( Deirdre) has been
nominated for that.
Sadly Anne wont be there to receive Award -
if she wins but hope.she does or more importantly
gets Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously.
I know soaps copy one anothers storylines but
"trifles"!!!
