Stephen Marcus to join EE

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels actor Stephen Marcus will appear in EastEnders.

The actor, who played Nick the Greek in the '90s gangster film, will be involved in Sharon Mitchell's current search for her biological father.

Daily Star Sunday reports that Marcus was spotted filming scenes for the soap last week.

The exact role the actor will play is unknown, with his scenes due to air in May.

An EastEnders spokesperson declined to comment.

Sharon's search for her real father recently saw Letitia Dean's character tell Ian Beale that they could be half-siblings, only to be told that it probably wasn't the case.

Marcus is known for his roles in movies such as Interview with a Hitman, Kinky Boots and Quills.

Because Sharon threatened to leave Phil when she found her father (why wait? :wall:) so I think Phil wants the "father" to be such a mess that Sharon can't run to him. It's a way of controlling Sharon and "buying time" as he said to Ritchie. :angry:
