Over on EastEnders, Aleks Shirovs will drop a shocking bombshell as he proposes to his girlfriend Roxy Mitchell later this month.

The proposal comes following an eventful week for Roxy (Rita Simons) as she is forced to confront her growing feelings for Charlie Cotton.

When Roxy helps Aleks throw a surprise birthday party for his daughter Ineta, the celebrations are interrupted when his ex-wife Marta arrives and causes friction.

Despite this, Marta's arrival becomes the least of Roxy's worries as the tension continues to build between her and Charlie. Whilst alone later, Charlie finally comes clean about how he really feels, leaving Roxy conflicted.

Things start to look up for the Mitchell family as Ronnie wakes up and starts to talk, but Roxy is consumed with guilt and worries that she might know the truth about her and Charlie's betrayal.


After it all becomes too much for Roxy, she finds herself turning to Charlie for support once again. However, she is unaware that Aleks (Kristian Kiehling) is on a mission to prove his love for her and approaches Phil to ask for his permission to marry her.

When Charlie learns of Aleks's plan, he is quick to spill the beans to a panicked Roxy, who is then left to anxiously anticipate his proposal.

As Aleks gets the ring out, Roxy is left stunned when he asks her how long she has been sleeping with Charlie, but how has he figured it out? And will Roxy come clean?
