Theresa notices Patrick's mood and takes him home, but something in the washing machine catches her eye - a shirt with blood on. Patrick is baffled when Theresa makes her excuses and quickly leaves, until he looks down at the washing machine and realises what she has discovered.

Later, Theresa threatens to call the police but Patrick has a revelation that stops her in her tracks.

Meanwhile, Darren takes matters into his own hands but finds the police are one step ahead of him.

Elsewhere, Esther is in turmoil as things go from bad to worse for innocent Phoebe. How can she help her friend?

Meanwhile, Freddie proposes to Lindsey and she accepts. Mercedes calls Grace and orders her to get Phoebe out of prison, but Grace gets her hands on a gun and books a flight to Nice instead. Joe finds out about Grace's plan and rings Mercedes to warn her.

Later, Sinead tells Freddie that she will give him a divorce and says that it was thanks to her and Lindsey that he is out of prison. Grace is about to leave for France but overhears Sinead and tells her to get a taped confession from Lindsey and Freddie about framing Phoebe.

Grace throws Trevor a birthday party at The Dog, unaware that Freddie and Lindsey have organised engagement drinks there too. Trevor and Freddie lock horns as both parties refuse to leave.

Meanwhile, Kim reveals a dark secret to Nancy about her and Joe - on the night of Joe and Lindsey's engagement party when she was 16, she slept with Joe.
