A descendent of Neighbours' Bouncer the dog is to be introduced to viewers.
The popular Labrador Retriever starred on the soap between 1987 and 1993. As part of Neighbours' 30th anniversary celebrations, Bouncer's female offspring will turn up in Ramsay Street as a stray before being taken in Lucy Robinson (Melissa Bell).

Producer Jason Herbison told the Sydney Morning Herald that 'Bouncer 2' will provide "a nice nod to history" and likely stay for some time.
"But if there is popular demand, it is possible Bouncer 2 could become a permanent fixture," he said.
"Bouncer had a few notable affairs when he was on the show so we are not exactly sure who he knocked up, but Bouncer 2 is definitely a direct descendent."
As well saving Madge from a house fire, the original Bouncer famously took the spotlight with a 1990 dream sequence while fantasising about marrying Clarrie McLachlan's dog Rosie.
"I don't know whether or not Bouncer's dream was a high point for the show or a low point," Herbison admitted. "It's still being discussed."
