Martin's angry outburst has left The Vic in shock. As Sonia rushes to the toilets, Martin leaves the pub and heads over to the Beale house, where Rebecca is with Cindy and Liam. Still in a troubled mood, Martin launches into an angry rant about Sonia, leaving Rebecca stunned by his revelations.

When Sonia arrives at the Beales' and tries to make peace, she finds herself in a heated argument with Rebecca. In the end, Sonia realises that she has to make a decision between Rebecca and Tina, but who will she choose?

Later, Ian and Jane arrive back from their honeymoon. As a result, Martin is forced to face the reality of his situation and we learn that he's been keeping a secret of his own...

Meanwhile, Kush and Shabnam continue to re-establish their bond as Kush opens up about his past. Unfortunately, Shabnam faces further disappointment when she begs Kush to commit to her and he admits that he still isn't ready to re-marry.

Elsewhere, Donna's foster mum and Pam both make a fuss following the incident with Martin and Fatboy at The Vic. Donna orders both ladies to stay out of her love life. She insists that nothing is going on with her and Fatboy, but is surprised when Fatboy later turns up to apologise to her.

Cindy is left to question her position as Beth's mother when it becomes clear that Jane has bonded with the baby during their time away. Jane beats Cindy to the morning feed, leaving her feeling worse than ever.

When Cindy confides in Liam about how she is feeling, he encourages her to step up as Beth's mum. She collects Beth from nursery to spend the afternoon with her, but her plan backfires when Jane and Ian find out and become angry. As a result, Cindy resorts to desperate measures...

Meanwhile, Sharon is accompanied by Linda as she visits Margaret Midhurst - the solicitor who handled her adoption - as part of her continued search for her biological father. Margaret reveals that Den specifically asked to adopt Sharon, leaving Linda to speculate that perhaps he was her biological father as the result of an affair. Margaret assures Sharon that this wasn't the case, but Sharon is led to believe that her father could have been closer to home than she imagined...

Elsewhere, Alfie continues his attempts to help Kat and the boys as they face more money worries, especially with the twins needing a new buggy. Alfie swallows his pride and accepts a job cleaning the market.

Also today, tension rises between Roxy and Ineta when Ineta refuses to go to school. Roxy realises why Ineta is being so defiant when she finds some bruises on her arm.

Ian is shocked when he learns that Dot is in prison. He and Sharon visit Dot in jail to express their support for her, but Dot remains distant and refuses to accept their help.

Back at the Beale house, Sharon continues to wonder who her dad is. After taking a trip down memory lane with Ian, she comes to a startling realisation...

Meanwhile, Cindy returns to the Square in a panic as she faces the consequences of her actions. With help from Jane, she tries to sort out her mess but it's Liam who comes to her rescue. Later, Shabnam is the unlikely person to give Cindy some advice about her future, prompting the teen to make a decision which leaves her family stunned.

Elsewhere, Roxy discovers the reason for Ineta's bruises. When she takes matters into her own hands, it brings her closer to Ineta.

Also today, Alfie overhears a revealing phone conversation as he listens in to Martin - leading him to make a discovery.

Tensions are running high at the Mitchell household following Sharon's realisation. With Phil still away, Sharon argues with Dennis and ends up seeking solace at Ian's house. They revisit their previous conversation over a bottle of wine, but the discussion takes a turn when Jane tells Ian that she knows Denny has been in a lot of trouble at school.

When Sharon arrives back home, she is surprised to find Phil back in the house with his feet firmly under the table...

Meanwhile, Alfie and Donna come to Martin's rescue in his hour of need.

The market trader realises that he needs to step up to support his estranged wife Kat after she continues to face financial concerns.

With twins Bert and Ernie needing a new buggy which won't come cheap, Alfie (Shane Richie) is forced to swallow his pride by accepting a job cleaning the market.
