Coming up on Hollyoaks, former couple Maxine Minniver and Patrick Blake continue to clash over custody of their baby daughter Minnie.

Maxine (Nikki Sanderson) is delighted next month as her friend Darren Osborne surprises her with a fundraiser for Minnie, but it coincides with Patrick's assigned time to take care of her.

Maxine and Darren defy Patrick (Jeremy Sheffield) by taking Minnie to the event regardless, but the evil headteacher is furious when he finds out that his new secretary Theresa McQueen has let them take the youngster.

The fundraiser itself also quickly goes wrong when Darren notices that Minnie isn't breathing properly and she has to be rushed into hospital, where Dr S'avage diagnoses her with heart problems.

Darren continues to support Maxine when she learns that Minnie will need an operation, but it all proves too much for the new mum. Overwhelmed, Maxine flees from the hospital with Minnie and rushes back to the boarding house.

When Patrick tracks Maxine down, he convinces her to return to the hospital - but once they get back, Minnie's appointment in intensive care has already been given to someone else.

Viewers will have to wait and see what happens to Minnie, but the days that follow see another unexpected incident when Patrick trips over and bangs his head following more tension with Maxine. Dr S'avage is concerned after running some tests on Patrick, but he threatens him to keep quiet.

Later in the week, Patrick gets defensive when Theresa gives him a letter from the hospital. What is he hiding?

Nancy Osborne will find herself caught between brothers Joe and Robbie Roscoe next week.

Although Nancy (Jessica Fox) is keen to act on her growing feelings for Joe (Ayden Callaghan), she finds herself in an awkward predicament when his younger brother Robbie (Charlie Wernham) reaffirms his feelings for her once again.

When Ziggy goes to visit Jason at the clinic, it is obvious that Robbie is struggling to cope, prompting Nancy to give him some words of wisdom.

Nancy's kind actions provoke an emotional outburst from Robbie, but she later finds herself torn when Joe asks her out on a date.

When Nancy later sees Robbie, who is unaware of blossoming romance between her and Joe, she attempts to let Robbie down gently.

Just as things seem to be progressing between Joe and Nancy, reality hits when Lindsey calls asking his for help.

A concerned Joe heads off to get her, later finding Lindsey alone in a car park, but where is Freddie?
