Emmerdale are currently filming Jimmy and Nicola's wedding and Paul Lambert (played by Mathew Bose) who is Nicola's half-brother has been spotted on the webcams filming, so it looks like he returns for their wedding.

Lucy Pargeter (Chas) has also posted some pictures on her twitter account of him, seeing if you can guess who is back.

EMMERDALE drag queen Paul Lambert is returning to the soap after being axed more than a year ago.
Paul - played by Mathew Bose, 36 - will make his comeback at his sister Nicola De Souza's wedding to Jimmy King next month.

Barman Paul became the first gay character to marry his boyfriend in a soap during five years on the show.

But when he returns from his home Australia, it will be without his hubby Jonny Foster.

A source said: "Mathew is really excited about returning to Emmerdale. He loved playing Paul.

"The character was groundbreaking and a massive hit with viewers.

"He's coming back for a few episodes but it could lead to a permanent return."

Emmerdale has confirmed that Matthew Bose will be reprising his role as Val Pollard's son Paul Lambert for a short stint.

Bose played Val and Rodney's only son from 2004 to 2009, before returning briefly for his sister Nicola's wedding in 2010.

Bosses are keeping tight-lipped about the reasons surrounding Paul's return, but producer Kate Oates has previously teased a health scare for Val.

Speaking of the upcoming storyline, Oates said: "Maybe it'll be a bit of a bump in the road for her, which Eric's going to have to handle - and Finn as well, who's her new surrogate boy! She'll be dealing with that next month."

As well as his connections to Val, Rodney and Nicola, fans may remember that Paul was also friends with Leyla Harding.

Bose has already filmed his return scenes, with them due to be aired later in the year.

Jonny first appears in February 2007 when he strikes up a friendly working relationship with bisexual Grayson Sinclair. Grayson's wife, Perdy, is worried that they are having an affair and invites him to a dinner party with her gay friend, Paul Lambert. They get on and soon start dating. After six months together, Jonny moves into Victoria Cottage with Paul, Paul's father, Rodney Blackstock, and Emily Kirk. He confides in Paul that, as a teenager, he suffered from an eating disorder as a result of loneliness and unhappiness. During his time in Emmerdale, Jonny sets up an aerobics dance class and fitness club.

When Rosemary King causes problems in Grayson and Perdy's marriage, leading to Perdy being sectioned, Paul spends more time with Grayson. He acts as go-between as Perdy refuses to see Grayson and this leads to Paul developing feelings for Grayson and Jonny asks Paul to marry him. Paul accepts but has a one-night stand with Grayson. When Grayson tells Paul it meant nothing to him, Paul feels guilty and tells Jonny but persuades Jonny that it was a one-off and on 3 March 2008, they get married at Hotten Registry Office. Later that day, they have a 2nd ceremony at Home Farm as neither can tell their parents they have already married.

In July, Katie Sugden gives birth to Grayson and Perdy's son - she agreed to be their surrogate when they were still together. Katie and Grayson agreed to raise the child together and allow Perdy access but Katie changes her mind when she finds out about Grayson and Paul's one-night stand. Katie did not tell Perdy of her plans to give her the baby, so after delivering the baby in the back of Matthew King's car, she phones Grayson with the news but is convinced by Katie and Matthew to leave with the baby. Jonny, however, refuses to believe that Paul did not warn Grayson but is coming round until he sees Paul and Grayson hug. Although, Paul said nothing had happened and he had not reciprocated the hug, Jonny told Paul that he could no longer trust him and left on 31 July 2008. He later texts asking for a divorce.

In January 2009, Jonny requests they close their joint bank account. Paul's friends, Lily Butterfield and Leyla Harding, seeing how upset he is decides to try and reconcile him and Jonny. This causes Jonny's mother, Patricia, to visit. After initial confusion, Paul convinces Patricia that he still loves Jonny, who has moved to Australia. He plans to travel to Australia to try and rebuild his relationship with Jonny, but his mother Val Pollard lies and tells him that Rodney has a heart condition, hoping to stop him leaving while Lily gets in touch with Jonny and arranges a meeting between him and Paul. While they both love each other, Paul tells Jonny he cannot leave Emmerdale because of his father's condition. However, on the day Jonny is due to fly out, Paul finds out his mother was lying and leaves for Australia

I am guessing Paul is going to be connected to Finn in some way. Maybe Paul and Finn will become friends. Aaron is so masculine and macho he would never give Finn or Paul his time. Aaron is not into effeminate guys like Paul and Finn. Aaron likes alpha male guys like robert.

Emmerdale producer Kate Oates has revealed that she isn't ruling out a more permanent return for Val Pollard's son Paul Lambert.

Paul, played by actor Mathew Bose, arrives back in the village next week after Val is admitted to hospital following a shock collapse at the B&B.

Val's scare comes after she starts to take a more casual attitude towards her health, despite the need to be careful due to her HIV positive status.

Speaking of the storyline, Oates commented: "If anything is going to bring home how ill Val is, then it's going to be the return of Paul. It was really nice to have Mathew back and I know that he really enjoyed it.

"It'll be interesting to see how the viewers respond to that and whether there's something a bit more permanent on the cards. He's got so many great links to characters like Rodney, Nicola, Bernice and Diane. When you've got a character who has already got all of those links established, it's really nice to see them back."

Viewers will see Val's health crisis play out after she spends days ignoring some worrying symptoms, which turns out to be a terrible decision. However, Oates admitted that it was a storyline that needed to be approached sensitively.

She explained: "This story was a bit of a challenge because we wanted to talk about Val's HIV again and get her to a position where she is going to start using meds. I was rightly concerned by this story because what we show is Val having a bit of a blip and a panic. She is taking a couple of backward steps in how she views her status.

"I didn't want that to undo the good work we'd done about challenging some outdated myths about HIV. I hope it shows that Val is only human and these things do take time to come to terms with.

"Val has a near-death experience but she will work through that with the use of meds. It has meant that we can talk about the storyline again and look at a different phase of it, but hopefully what we'll show is that she overcomes that challenge."

Val's loved ones wait for news

Mathew Bose's return to Emmerdale was first announced last week, but exact details of his storyline were only revealed yesterday.

Bose said: "I'm really pleased and excited to be popping back into the show. It's been such a massive part of my own life and my alter ego Paul still has so much of his life in the village. He has relatives and friends everywhere and they're all in need of a bit of Paul's love and attention.

"The show, and of course Charlie Hardwick, have been handling this HIV storyline so well and really tackling it, so it is great to be part of that journey."

Paul will be connected to Finn maybe he will become his friend. I can't see an effeminate guy like Paul being with aaron. I wish the writers brought in a new bloke for aaron.

Matthew Bose is heading back to Emmerdale to say goodbye to Val Pollard.

Bose memorably played Val's son Paul Lambert, and will return to the village for the Pollard and Lambert family matriarch's funeral.

"I'm like a sad & unhappy Cinderella. I shall go to the funeral. How will I cope...?! @emmerdale #ValNEric #me #Paul," Bose tweeted.

This will be the second return for Bose on Emmerdale this year, and this time it is directly tied to the deadly helicopter crash that rocked the soap.

Bose was a regular cast member on the soap from 2004 to 2008.

Charlie Hardwick made her final appearance as Val Pollard last week, following months of build-up to her departure.
