Round-up:
Chas is in no mood to celebrate her birthday. Not only has she lost her best friend, but she also suspects that Aaron and Robert’s affair is back on. When Robert visits, however, Aaron tells him that it is over for good. Jimmy is bemused by Nicola’s attitude after their disappointing night at the B&B. With Priya busy at the salon, Nicola offers to take Amba for a walk. Caught in a heavy rainstorm, the pair take refuge in a barn, only to find themselves locked in. Nicola frantically tries to call for help but her phone has no signal. Back at the salon Priya overhears Jimmy and Bernice discussing Nicola’s early menopause and panics. Fearing that Amba has been abducted, she calls the police. James rescues them from the barn but Nicola arrives back in the village to find herself arrested and everyone - even Jimmy – doubting her. Chrissie starts to wonder if Lachlan might be gay and confides in Robert as she starts to think that David is hiding something. But Lachlan’s crush lies in a completely different direction – one which may have serious consequences for all involved. Cain lies to Moira and takes Noah to visit Charity in prison. She is delighted to see them both but Cain worries about how she is going to react. Ali is upset when Rachel announces that she has found a job in Luton and departs Emmerdale, taking Archie with her. The B&B is still in a mess and Val gives Tracy the sack, but Pollard’s attempts at DIY only make matters worse.

Emmerdale schemer Charity Dingle will return to the soap for one episode next week as Cain pays her a visit in prison.
Charity (Emma Atkins) was written out of the soap last month when she was imprisoned for perverting the course of justice.
In scenes to be aired next week, Cain will lie to his wife Moira when he takes Charity's son Noah to see her.

However, despite his secrecy, it is clear that Cain is dreading seeing his former lover as he is worried about her feelings for him.
Arriving at the prison, Noah is delighted to see Charity, but Cain is left in an awkward predicament when he goes to leave and Charity begs him to stay.
Charity is clearly relieved to see Cain but after she sends Noah off to a vending machine, she begins to talk to Cain alone, What will she say?
In real life, Atkins is having a year's break from the soap due to pregnancy.

Today is Chas's birthday but she is not in a good mood - she has lost her best friend and now suspects that Aaron and Robert are back on. Aaron overhears Chas telling Paddy her concerns about Robert. A frustrated Diane confides in Doug about how she wishes she could help.
Later, Robert comes to see Aaron, but Aaron tells him things are over between them.
Meanwhile, Nicola puts on bravado in front of Val and Bernice, lying about having had a great night at the B&B with Jimmy. As Priya is busy at the salon, Nicola offers to take Amba for a walk. Bernice and Jimmy are soon both concerned when they realise that Nicola has been lying about their night.
With rain chucking down, Nicola takes shelter in a barn with Amba but then realises they've been locked in. Nicola gets out her phone to ring for help, but she hasn't got any signal. Back at the salon, Priya is worried that Nicola is not back with Amba yet and begins to panic further when she overhears Jimmy and Bernice discussing Nicola's early menopause. Feeling worried, she phones the police.
Elsewhere, Rachel is looking over job advertisements but tells David about the job going in Luton. When Jai calls over, Rachel worries about how much he knows about the job in Luton. As he leaves, Rachel gets a call offering her the position.
Also today, Chrissie is unsettled, thinking David is hiding something as they discuss Lachlan. Chrissie eventually confides in Robert about her worries over Lachlan, wondering if he is gay.
Finally, Megan is worried that Jai is up to something, while Harriet is upbeat after doing a talk at Gabby's school as it gives her a business idea.

Priya is with David and Rakesh as the police tell them there is no news on Amba. Georgia is speechless to hear that they think Nicola has kidnapped her. Alicia and Debbie try to reassure Georgia, but she offends David.
Later, James arrives at the barn and is stunned to see Nicola, who says she has been falsely imprisoned. She wheels Amba out, leaving James shocked.
Back in the village, police officers take a statement from Jimmy. Bernice and Rodney are shocked when Jimmy admits to them that he doesn't really know what Nicola is capable of. Later, Nicola is stunned as she walks back into the village and is promptly sped away in a police car. How will she feel when she hears that even Jimmy doubted her?
Meanwhile, Jacob is annoyed by something Lachlan has done. Lachlan is hopeful that things might be looking up, but is he deluded?
Elsewhere, Jai continues to bond with Archie but away from Megan. Later, Jai is touched when Megan tells him that he has to make the most of his time with Archie, but she stresses that he needs to be honest with her.

Chrissie is worried when she finds a scarf in Lachlan's bag, but he covers as to who it's for. Soon afterwards, Nicola sees Lachlan as he opens a bag containing an expensive ladies handbag and confronts him, believing it is Chrissie's, but Lachlan is defensive.
Later, after Alicia has seen the bag left for her, David decides to tackle the issue and heads to Home Farm to confront Lachlan. David then explains to Alicia that it was Lachlan who bought her the bag and he has a crush on her. Alicia is dismayed when she learns that David has warned him off as he's only a kid.
Alicia goes to see Lachlan herself, but is thrown when Chrissie asks if she knows anything about Lachlan's mystery girlfriend. Alicia kindly returns the bag, telling him that it wouldn't be fair of her to keep it. At the same time, Chrissie tells Robert about the scarf and Robert tries to reassure her, but she is still uneasy…
Meanwhile, Nicola is the talk of the village, but she is quick to tackle the gossip head on. At the same time, Rodney warns Jimmy that if he doesn't do something nice for Nicola, he'll lose her. Later in The Woolpack, Rodney suggests to Nicola that she she should let Jimmy make it up to her. To everyone's surprise, Jimmy suddenly walks into the pub dressed as Tom Cruise in Top Gun and serenades Nicola. Will it work?
Elsewhere, Cain lies to Moira when he takes Noah to visit Charity in prison, but it's clear that Cain is dreading seeing her, worried over her feelings for him. Later in the prison, Noah is pleased to see Charity and Cain is about to leave them to it, but Charity pleads for him to stay - clearly relieved to see him. Charity sends Noah off to a vending machine, giving her an opportunity to talk to Cain alone. Will she still feel the same as she did before?
Also today, Rachel breaks the news that she has got a job in Luton. Ali is upset that Rachel is going again.
Finally, Rodney is pleasantly surprised with Georgia's reaction to him dumping her.

Hour-long episode
Alicia is touched when David tells her that he has organised a pre-birthday celebration. However, David is soon perturbed to hear what happened over the photo book with Jacob and confronts Lachlan over it.
Chrissie is also worried about Lachlan and tries to look on his laptop, but she is perturbed to find that he has password protected it. David tells Alicia that he has to take Amba to the hospital with Priya, but Lachlan panics to overhear this, knowing that he has sabotaged David's van.
Over at the pub, Alicia and Leyla are getting tipsy as they celebrate Alicia's birthday. Alicia arrives home and suggests to Lachlan that they should close up the shop early and he is chuffed when she asks him to make coffee.
At the same time, Chrissie has found Lachlan's camera and is perturbed by the images she finds. Just what is Lachlan capable of?
Meanwhile, Rachel says her goodbyes and Tracy tells an uneasy Sam that it's good she is going. Ali is upset about her leaving, while Rachel asks Dan for a lift later - covering her hurt from Tracy's smug comments. Ali is determined to convicne Sam to get Rachel to stay and goes to see him, leaving him confused. Megan is also shocked to hear that Rachel is leaving. Megan can't bring herself to tell Jai, but will she have a change of heart?
Later, Ali is emotional as Rachel says goodbye, determined to be strong. Rachel goes with Archie, but will she be back?
Elsewhere, Val tells Pollard they need to write a press release for the B&B awards shortlist. Soon Tracy makes a mess of things but Val's focus is on the awards.
Also today, Nicola is grossed out when Rodney tries to talk in detail about his relationship. But soon he gets a shock...

At Home Farm, Lachlan insists that he feels sick and can't go to school and Chrissie is troubled. Later, Chrissie is sickened by what Lachlan says...

Elsewhere, the B&B is still in a dreadful state after Tracy's mess-up, but a poorly Val is rushing to get it fixed before the awards. Finn and Pollard are surprised when Val sacks Tracy. Later, Pollard heads out after a call from David and water hisses out of a pipe where Pollard has put a nail through it. Everyone is soaked when the pipe bursts and Pollard is guilty as a suspicious Val stares at him.
Also today, Tracy uses underhand tactics to try and get what she wants. Zak is troubled for Samson.
Finally, Nicola makes it clear to Jimmy that she wants a holiday. Rodney asks Nicola what she has planned for Jimmy's 50th, saying she should make it special.

I am sad aaron seems to be only on next week Monday then he is gone for two weeks! The spoilers only mention aaron being on next week Monday. Well glad robert will be on next week. Now that aaron and robert are over will he get a new boyfriend?
Meanwhile, new Emmerdale pictures show Rachel Breckle under pressure to stay in the village as she considers where her future lies.
Rachel (Gemma Oaten) gets some good news next week as she lands herself a new job in Luton, but it's awkward timing as she has only recently returned to the village.
Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) is particularly affected by the news that Rachel could be leaving, having only just got used to having his son Archie back in his life.
The businessman fears that he will be losing Archie all over again if Rachel moves away and he begs her to stay.
Sam Dingle (James Hooton) also surprises Rachel by declaring his love for her unexpectedly, promising that he will even move to be with her.
Rachel does end up going with Archie, but will the reaction she's had be enough to bring her back sooner than expected?

I`m so sick of Chas banging on about her best friend Katie. Chas was never a friend to Katie the way she spoke to her the last time they met. Anyway, she hardly ever spoke to Katie the past few months anyway unless it was to serve her a few drinks in the pub.. Even on Andy and Katies wedding day, Katie or Chas hardly interacted with each other.
Ever since James and Chas got together, they spend most of their time together...or sorting Aaron s problems out.
And Layla and Katie weren`t friends either....not with how Layla and t`vet (can`t remember her name) did everything they could to put off buyers at Katies house.
All the above are just a bunch of hypocrites.

Thanks for agreeing with me Perdita. I`m glad I`m not the only one who could see the non friendship between Katie and Chas.
Of course...Vanessa. Thanks Perdita. I had a brain freeze on her name. I could see her face quite clearly, just couldn`t remember her name. It just shows what a memorable character she is LOL
I`d love it if Andy did end up selling Katies house and kicking out Layla. I really loathe her...selfish mare. Although no doubt she`d move back to her sisters house if that did happen. Its all me me me with her.

Emmerdale's Alicia Metcalfe faces an awkward encounter with Lachlan White in tonight's episode (February 25) after he buys her an expensive handbag.
Alicia (Natalie Anderson) is initially thrilled when the pricey gift arrives for her as she thinks it's from David, but when he denies any involvement in the generous delivery, it soon becomes clear that Lachlan is actually behind it.
David quickly takes matters into his own hands by warning Lachlan (Thomas Atkinson) off, but when Alicia finds out what is going on, she accuses him of being too harsh with the troubled teen.
Deciding to sort this out herself, Alicia heads to Home Farm and gives Lachlan the bag back, insisting that she can't accept it. Will she manage to let Lachlan down gently?

Emmerdale's dark storyline for Alicia Metcalfe and Lachlan White has sparked complaints to Ofcom.
45 viewers have contacted the broadcasting regulator overnight to raise concerns over scenes which saw Alicia (Natalie Anderson) left traumatised as Lachlan sexually assaulted her. :wall:
The story aired in a pre-watershed 6.45pm timeslot on Thursday evening (February 26), but ITV did broadcast a warning of upsetting scenes before the episode.
An Ofcom spokesperson told Digital Spy that it is currently assessing the complaints before making a decision on whether to launch an investigation.
In the weeks leading up to the episode, viewers had seen Lachlan (Thomas Atkinson) develop an unhealthy fixation on Alicia. While this had initially seemed to be a crush, the teenager took his obsession a horrifying step further when Alicia fell asleep on the couch at home while he was paying a visit.
Alicia later confided in her loved ones about what had happened, as well as reporting the incident to the police.
In a Q&A released after the episode, Emmerdale's producer Kate Oates spoke about the importance of taking the right tone with the story due to the show's early timeslot.
Oates said: "It's obviously a challenging thing to explore at 7pm, so it certainly wasn't an easy thing to do but I'm glad that we've been able to approach it. We talked initially about whether Alicia would be raped. We discussed that at length, but we decided that didn't necessarily have to be the story.
"It was difficult to get the right tone. We worked really hard with compliance and with the writers. We also talked to Natalie about what she was comfortable with. Tom is a young actor, so we had meetings with him, his chaperone and the director too."
Emmerdale was previously cleared by Ofcom last month following an investigation into violent scenes featuring Declan and Charity Macey.
