Meanwhile, Will Savage's reign of terror isn't over on Hollyoaks as he vengefully targets Cindy Cunningham.
When Will (James Atherton) regains consciousness in hospital, he immediately returns to his cunning ways by pretending to still be in a coma while he considers his next move.
As Will's father Dirk (David Kennedy) pays him a visit and admits that he wishes he'd never been born, the evil serial killer can hear everything and immediately wants revenge.
Will's first opportunity to cause more terror presents itself when his niece Nico Blake skips school with her new friend Dylan Jenkins in order to visit him in hospital.
The teens are completely unaware that they are walking straight into a dangerous situation as Will is still pretending to be unconscious and has managed to swipe a syringe from a nurse's trolley near his bed.
Nico accidentally leaves her bag at the hospital after visiting Will and when she returns to his room alone to get it, he grabs her.
Viewers will have to wait and see whether Will punishes Nico for pushing him off the hospital roof, but whatever happens, it's not long before he chooses a second target.
When Cindy (Stephanie Waring) comes to the hospital, Will injects her with morphine - wanting to make Dirk suffer after his harsh words.
Dr S'avage, Lindsey, Kim, Tegan and Celine all rush to the scene to help Cindy, but is it too late?

Hollyoaks aired another shock twist in E4's first look episode on Tuesday (February 3) as Dirk Savage left his evil son Will to die.
Dirk had an opportunity to call for help after Will (James Atherton) was given a lethal injection by the Gloved Hand Killer and began to slip away. However, Dirk ultimately decided to walk out of the hospital room and let Will die - realising that the world would be better off without him.
Upcoming episodes will now see Dirk tormented as a mystery witness starts sending him sinister letters, threatening him over his dark secret.
Digital Spy recently caught up with David Kennedy, who plays Dirk, for his reaction to his character's controversial decision.
What was your reaction when you found out about this storyline?
"It was a bit of a shock, really! I didn't know about it until I read about it in the script and it was a bit of a 'wow' moment. I know Will is a bad egg, but I didn't think it would come to this! At the same time, dramatically I think it's brilliant. It's a fantastic moment.
"The whole Will story has been great, particularly how it's explored Dirk's conflict while he's been trying to do the right thing as a dad. There's been so many issues raised with Will and Dodger, and the predicament of Dirk being in the middle of those two."
Will was threatening to make a formal police statement against Nico, so was that the main reason for Dirk letting him die?
"There were a million different reasons, but the Nico situation was one of the triggers. In that moment where Dirk made his decision, he was thinking about the years of pain and all of the problems that have happened due to Will. There's the murder of Texas, Anna's death and all of the things that Will did to Dodger.
"It all boils into this one moment, but the Nico thing is the trigger and the final straw. Dirk has still got a good heart. He's tried so hard with Will and he's been so patient with him. He always hoped that Will would change and he would have supported him in any way he could, but in this one moment, Dirk thought that he didn't have a choice. He knew what the consequences would be if he had let Will live."
Dirk is a popular character. Do you hope the fans still like him after this?
"I hope they still like him! I just hope that people who have followed the show and have seen what Will has done in the past will see that it would usually be completely out of Dirk's nature to do something like this. There had to be a really strong reason for him to behave in this way. There are also consequences to Dirk's actions, which will be revealed later."
Afterwards, does Dirk look back and think he did the right thing?
"No, he has huge regret. Dirk has got a terrible guilty conscience and he really struggles with that. He beats himself up about his actions and he finds that very, very hard. It's a massive thing to do that to anyone - let alone your own flesh and blood. But as I say, there will be consequences…"
We see that when Dirk starts getting threatening messages from someone who knows what he did…
"Yes, that's the beginning of it. There's a horror there for Dirk because he feels bad enough about doing it, but then there's also a possibility that someone has seen what he's done. That's not good!"
How do you feel about being the last original Savage standing in the show?
"I'm sure if you'd put money on that years ago, you would have cleaned up! From a personal perspective, it's wonderful and brilliant that the writers and producers here at Hollyoaks have pushed Dirk towards the Cunninghams. Dirk, Cindy and Holly are a great family unit.
"The other side of it is that it's a real shame the other Savages have all gone. It was a brilliant family and the boys were fantastic to work with - both James and Danny. They're a dream, so it is very sad. It was a very sad day when they both left, but onwards and upwards.
"Dr S'avage has arrived and who knows what chaos that will bring? We get on great, Andrew and I. I love working with him and I think we have pretty good chemistry together. It's a lot of fun, so we'll see what happens. But with the Savages, never say never - you never know what's round the corner!"
Would you say there's more to explore between Dirk and Dr S'avage?
"I think there's plenty more mileage between those two. The writers are throwing so much stuff at Dr S'avage at the moment and he's finding his feet at the hospital, but as things settle down, there could be more. His son Dennis has gone and Dirk's kids have gone too, so I'm pretty sure there'll be a lot more stuff between the two of us."
Obviously James can't return now, but do you hold out hope of seeing Danny Mac back as Dodger at some point?
"You never know. I would love to see him come back - it would be a delight. We'll just have to wait and see what he gets up to, whether he wants to come back and what the writers would come up with if he did. But I'd love it!"
Have you been told who the Gloved Hand is?
"I'll be totally honest with you, I really don't know! I think it's quite clever because there are a number of possible suspects and nobody really knows who it is. That's what makes it quite interesting."
Do Dirk and Cindy have a strong future?
"I certainly hope so! With Cindy you just never know because she's so up and down, but I really hope so. It's never going to be a smooth path with those two, but fingers crossed. The Dirk/Holly relationship is also a really nice one and Amanda Clapham is a joy to work with too.
"It's a really lovely family unit and I just hope that they continue with that. Hopefully Cindy won't get a bit tired of Dirk and go for a younger model! But I keep telling her, 'There's nothing better out there, darling!'"
It's nice to see Cindy back on track, but is there more to explore with her condition?
"Yeah, definitely. I don't think that can ever go away. I don't think you ever completely recover from that, so it will always come back in some aspect. I've got a funny feeling that elements of that will come back later on. It will affect the whole family, but it's all good and lovely at the moment!"
Would you like to stick around on Hollyoaks and make Dirk one of the long-stay characters?
"I think when we first arrived, we were a new family and it was a case of seeing what happened. The boys were a massive hit and the Savages really grew into their own.
"I absolutely love it here and I'm having a great time. Dirk's storylines have got better as time has progressed and I feel much more of a bigger cog in the show now. I personally don't have any plans to leave, so I'd love to stay for as long as they'll have me. It's just a joy coming to work every day - it's a really nice place to be."
