Meanwhile, Hollyoaks favourite Ste Hay will react angrily after he is diagnosed as HIV positive.

Ste (Kieron Richardson) hears the life-changing news next week after getting himself tested on the advice of Connor, a guy he had a one-night stand with late last year.

Although he wasn't aware of it at the time they had unprotected sex, Connor is HIV positive and fears that Ste may have contracted the condition from him.

Once Ste gets his own diagnosis, he struggles to cope with the immediate fallout and the uneasy reaction from his new husband John Paul McQueen.

Wanting revenge, Ste soon turns up at Connor's student house and turns violent.

Leela, Tegan and John Paul are on hot on Ste's trail and arrive to see him furiously hanging Connor over the stairwell. With everyone shocked over his behaviour, Ste tells his sisters that he has HIV…

There's a new development in Mercedes's murder case. Grace, Trevor and Esther are delighted to see their baby for the first time. Porsche and Celine are surprised by a new arrival, while Ste is out for revenge.

Tuesday, January 27

It's a black day for Freddie as he tries to keep one step ahead of the police but is caught at the scene of a crime. Patrick's faith in Nancy is a welcome boost and gives her an exciting new opportunity at Hollyoaks High.

Wednesday, January 28

Lindsey makes it her mission to save Freddie from a life behind bars. Nancy asks Esther for help at the school, but the students get more than they bargained for when Grace gets involved.

Thursday, January 29

Lindsey's actions leave Celine with a terrible dilemma, while a familiar face returns to make things even more difficult. Dylan leads Peri down a dangerous path, putting her and her schoolmates' lives at risk. Desperate, Nancy turns to Trevor once more.

Friday, January 30

Will Nancy find the courage to face the consequences of what she's done? Jack makes a potentially life-changing decision. Freddie makes a shocking discovery, while Dirk's painful admission may come back to haunt him.

Nancy Osborne will find her painkiller addiction having serious consequences next week after teenager Dylan gets his hands on her pills.

Nancy (Jessica Fox) is delighted when she is offered a promotion at the school, but later finds herself calling on Trevor for more pills as she struggles to cope with the pressures of her new role.

As Trevor and Grace attend the school parents evening with Dylan, Nancy acts unprofessionally by asking Trevor if he has any more pills on him.

Later, Dylan finds Nancy's painkiller stash and encourages Peri to sell them to students so she can raise money to visit her dad Cameron in Newcastle.

Jealous after seeing Dylan flirt with Peri, Tom becomes suspicious when he sees them sneaking into the toilet together and is shocked when he discovers that they are selling pills.

When Nico and Dylan take the pills, Tom also buys some in order to save face, but a shocking incident soon follows.

Following the incident at school, Nancy knows she's to blame but will she find the courage to face the consequences?
