Coronation Street producer Stuart Blackburn has promised that there are big storylines on the way for a number of the show's characters.
Owen, Faye, David, Todd, Gail and Michael will all have dramatic times ahead over the coming months.

The Windass family will be rocked by the arrival of Owen's former wife Linda, who comes to Weatherfield from her home in Portugal, having had no contact with Owen or their daughters Izzy and Katy for years.
Linda's casting was announced last year, with Jacqueline Leonard taking over the role in scenes to be aired from February.
Speaking at a Coronation Street press event today (January 12), Blackburn said: "Faye's pregnancy is about to be revealed and we have the arrival of Linda, who is Owen's first wife.
"Her return is going to be devastating for the Windasses. The two girls have been bought up for the last 20 years on the belief that their mother left them because she couldn't cope with Izzy's disability. What we are going to learn is that Owen has been rather disingenuous and has told less than half the story."

Blackburn also confirmed a big story for David Platt as he faces a harrowing custody battle for his non-biological son Max.
"There is a massive story for David though because Callum as we know is Max's father and he is on the birth certificate," he explained.
"What we discovered when doing the research is that as David isn't Max's dad and he isn't on the birth certificate, he has very few rights.
"The one side of Callum that is truthful is that he is going to start to fall in love with Max and we are going to see a massive custody battle prior to the return of Kylie."

Discussing other upcoming plots, Blackburn said: "We have got Todd ready to get revenge on Eileen and Jason, who he blames for getting beaten up and scared for life.
"We have also got Kevin finding a new friend in Jenny Bradley but he is going to wish he had never met her as the story unfolds.
"Also, Tony really is going to wish he never got involved with Tracy - he thought he could control her but no chance! Of course, simmering away in the background the whole way through is Tracy's loathing of Carla, who she blames for Rob's demise and that really is all going to come to a head.
"It is Corrie at its best - surprising, romantic, funny and I hope gripping."
