I think Ross is only meant go be 24/25, a bit older than Finn, and Michael Parr is only 28 (same age as me, although I'm older, lets not talk about it), he could be slightly offended at people suggesting he's older lol

her targets are unbelievably dim! in her
second session in ED. In the first session
before she had a break the stories /other
characters involved were more interesting
and I quite liked Charity then

Robert v Andy ..
smug so and so v thick thug
um...difficult choice.
If I was going to include Robert - would
have to include Andy also.
Im also not sure if we are meant to
think Andy is a sort of conman with
the poor honest and well meaning
routine- that only takes such as Diane!

disposition has not been truly addressed.

I just hope the writers do NOT make Robert kill Katie they need to make Robert more sympathetic kind of a character.The audience also needs to know more about Robert's sexuality. Okay, Robert is into Aaron but WHY? Robert was straight before his first stint on the show. Robert's back story needs to be explained more to the audience his motivation for causing trouble and his sexuality.

Finn stirs up a hornets’ nest when he tells the rest of the family that he has found his mum. Jamesand Pete tell him that she is bad news and they are all better off without her, but Moira tries to argue that the lad has a right to contact Emma. Even though Pollard and Victoria back him up, Finn is torn. Cain begins to experience headaches and confirms his suspicions by doing some research. Debbie is puzzled when he says that he loves her and Moira begins to become concerned.
When he explains his symptoms to Charity, she insists that they go to A&E straight away. It is confirmed that he has an aneurysm and needs immediate surgery. Unable to cope, he rushes out of the hospital, only to collapse and fall into a freezing river. Katie warns Robert that she will tell Chrissie about his affair with the mysterious ‘A’, but she and Chas have got the wrong end of the stick. Robert plays up to the rumour, flirting with Alicia in the pub. He assures Aaron that they are still on but Aaron cannot help feeling that he is getting in too deep. Chrissie is pleased when Lachlan joins the football team and tries to impress David with his knowledge of the game. Paddy takes Pearl for a glamorous night out. Appalled by the number of empty wine bottles in the bin, Marlon suggests a dry January to Laurel.

This would be a really good story for Chas having Emma Barton trying to win back James. Lets hope, be good to see Chas fight for her man and James steppin up to take their relationship to the next level.

Coming up on Emmerdale, Cain Dingle has to face the consequences after ignoring a serious health scare.

After days of feeling unwell with headaches and other symptoms, Cain (Jeff Hordley) suffers a shock collapse in front of his ex-partner Charity.

Although Cain is desperate for Charity to back off and keep quiet in the aftermath, she insists on taking him to A&E when he explains his symptoms.

At the hospital, Cain is terrified to learn that he has an aneurysm that will require an operation straight away, but he is unable to cope with the news and rushes out.

Once again, Cain confides in Charity rather than his wife Moira, leaving her stunned by admitting that he could die at any moment.

Despite the worrying news, Cain feels that the operation he needs is too much of a risk and threatens to kick Charity out of Butler's Farm if she tells anyone.

A horrified Charity spends some time brooding over Cain's ultimatum, but eventually decides to betray his confidence by telling Moira the truth.

As the two women talk, a disorientated Cain collapses and falls into a freezing cold river as his health takes another turn for the worse.

Bolstered by having finally found his mother, Finn is now on a mission to tell the rest of his family, but he is unsure over how they will react. Soon he gets the full picture when they are all furious and Finn knows he has a battle on his hands if he wants reunification. James is dumbfounded over what Finn has done, knowing he has stirred a hornets' nest, but undeterred Finn remains on a mission to unite his family.

Both Eric and Victoria feel for poor Finn, whose high hopes have been dashed. James is also concerned about what will happen next and is protective of his family, but Pete goes one step further by offering Finn a serious ultimatum…

Meanwhile, Cain has got a headache and is avoiding Moira, preferring instead to self medicate with whiskey. Soon after doing some research, Cain has his fears confirmed and later Debbie is surprised when he reiterates that he loves her.

Elsewhere, Aaron and Robert argue but make up. Katie sneaks a peek at Robert's phone as she is convinced that he's cheating.

Also today, Leyla is shocked to see her house is up for sale and she and Vanessa want to sabotage the sale.

Finally, Lachlan feels like an outsider, especially when he injures Gabby at football. However, he cheers up when David offers him support.


Tuesday, Jan 6 2015

Debbie is concerned for Cain and suggests that he goes home to get some sleep. Later Cain is horrified as Debbie's car has broken down and he is aware that it's his fault. Despite this, Cain is more than happy to let hapless Dan take the blame and soon goes even further when Dan confronts him over it.

That evening, Moira voices her concerns to Charity, wondering what could be going on with Cain. Charity is just as clueless, but she knows something isn't right. Alone in the garage that evening, Cain feels a sharp pain in his head and collapses. He quickly regains consciousness and is getting up just as Charity arrives. Will Cain manage to convince her that he's okay?

Meanwhile, Pete tells Finn that they're better off without Emma, but Moira is torn and tells Pete that Finn has a right to know his mother. Pete goes to The Woolpack and tries to convince Victoria to dissuade Finn from seeing his mum, but he can see that he is wasting his time. Will Finn listen to his family?

Elsewhere, Marlon is shocked by the number of wine bottles for the recycling and suggests a dry January to Laurel.

Also today, Ross is suspicious when Cain offers him a job out of the blue.

Finally, David convinces Lachlan to give football training another go.


Wednesday, Jan 7 2015

Charity is determined to find out what is wrong with Cain, while Debbie is disgusted that Cain has re-hired Ross and refuses to work with him. A sullen Dan is also shocked to see that Ross has taken his job. Cain is left in turmoil when Charity threatens to tell Moira everything, knowing that he collapsed last night.

Later, Charity panics when Cain explains his symptoms and she insists he goes straight to A&E. As they wait at the hospital, Charity supportively holds his hand but Cain wants to see the doctor alone and soon is shocked when he is told what is wrong with him. Cain is terrified to learn that he has an aneurysm that will require an operation straight away.

Unable to cope with what he has just learnt, Cain rushes out, lying to Charity that his symptoms are simply stress and alcohol related. Charity is unsure whether to believe him, but Cain flees the hospital as he tries to hide his terror.

Meanwhile, Robert is unnerved when Katie threatens to tell Chrissie about his affair with 'A'. Chas speculates that it could be Alicia, while Aaron is unnerved to learn that Katie has been looking on Robert's phone. Robert is later panicked as Aaron reveals that Katie has been speaking to Chas about his affair. Robert means business when he threatens Katie to stay quiet, using the wedding rings as collateral. This is war between Katie and Robert and the battle lines have been drawn…

Elsewhere, Debbie talks to Finn over dinner and when he asks her about when she gave up Sarah, she realises how troubled he is over reuniting with his mother. Pete realises that the Emma situation is far from over for Finn.

Also today, Nicola asks Laurel to join her for a drink, despite her dry January promise.

Charity is desperate for Cain to admit the truth now that she suspects he is lying to her, while Moira confides in Chas about how she thinks something is going on with Cain and Charity. Soon Charity is completely floored when Cain admits what is wrong and how he could die at any moment. As Cain bites back his emotions, he explains that having the operation is a risk but threatens to kick Charity and Noah out if she tells anyone. Charity doesn't agree and heads to Butlers Farm to tell Moira, but is interrupted.

Cain arrives home and is uneasy when Moira reveals plans for them to take a holiday abroad. Scared of the dangers, Cain snaps at her, leaving her feeling hurt. Cain is soon spoiling for a fight in The Woolpack and Charity is forced to intervene, threatening to tell everyone the truth if Cain doesn't calm down. Chas is alarmed, wondering what Charity has over Cain - certain something is going on.

Meanwhile, Katie notes that Alicia has bought herself a new dress, suspecting an affair with Robert. Robert tells Katie and Andy that he's trying to make amends, but Katie still can't trust him. Later, Aaron is frustrated when Robert insists they can't risk being together now Katie has suspicions. Katie's fears grow as she watches Robert flirt with Alicia at The Woolpack. Robert is interested to hear of her suspicions and is determined to use them to his advantage.

Elsewhere, Chrissie is pleased Lachlan has joined the football team and Lachlan tries to impress David with his football knowledge.

Also, Adam and Aaron get bad news about their forthcoming business venture.

Finally, Pearl enjoys the glamour as she accompanies Paddy to a veterinary party.


Thursday, Jan 8 2015 (2)

Moira is apprehensive as Chas tries to broach her suspicions with her. Debbie also unwittingly fuels Chas and Moira's theories about Cain and Charity. Later, Chas warns Cain to stay clear of Charity, fearing they may have rekindled their relationship. She insists that Moira needs him, leaving him thoughtful.

That afternoon, Cain surprises Moira but his actions freak out Charity, who is still desperate for Moira to know the truth. Cain once again threatens her with eviction if she says anything.

Meanwhile, Chrissie is grateful when Robert offers to take Lachlan to football training, blissfully unaware of his ulterior motive. At training, Robert charms Alicia and offers her money for the football team. David is grateful that he's going to sponsor the football team and Robert arranges to discuss things further with Alicia, delighted that events are playing into his hands.

Alicia and Robert head to The Woolpack, where Chas is unsettled to see them together. Robert has set the scene and is thrilled to see Katie glowering from the bar. Katie is clearly wound up and soon vents to Andy.

Elsewhere, Adam has a plan of action in place to get back with Victoria, but will it work?

Also, Kerry wants to take Cain to court for sacking Dan, while David impresses Lachlan.

Finally, Pearl is tipsy after her veterinary event and soon April is terrified that Pearl could be a werewolf, which Gabby is happy to fuel.

Charity broods over Cain's ultimatum but is soon motivated to stand by her convictions when Noah expresses fears for his future after her court case. Moira is floored when Charity reveals Cain's diagnosis to her and how he urgently needs an operation.

Unbeknownst to them, a disorientated Cain collapses and falls into a freezing cold river. Kirin and Vanessa find Cain floating unconscious in the river and Kirin drags his lifeless body out while Vanessa calls for an ambulance. The paramedics are treating Cain when Moira, Debbie and Charity arrive and they all fear the worst, as it doesn't look hopeful. Later at the hospital they all struggle with their emotions as they await news.

Meanwhile, Chas and Katie's suspicions grow when Chas sees a flirty Alicia and Robert driving off together. Andy is concerned when Chas informs him that she too suspects something is going on between Robert and Alicia. Soon Robert publicly humiliates Katie. Later, Aaron is conflicted when Robert says they are back in business, but Aaron now worries that he feels deeper for Robert than he had planned.

Elsewhere, Lachlan twists his anxious mother round his finger when he asks to borrow money, but what is he wanting to get and will she approve?

Also today, Adam is keen to impress Victoria, but the process of dumping her boiler gives him a business idea. Soon a firm business plan is forming and Adam tells Victoria that he wants her back, but will she want him?

Finally, David tries to recruit Kirin for his football team.
