did david adopt max?
Something Ive never thought about before-BUT
If a couple/person want to adopt a child
thru the official system-they are subject to
detailed character etc checks before approval.
If the parent of child remarries and new spouse
wishes to adopt the child of previous relationship
then the other natural parent could object and
state grounds but might not be successful.
If the parent of a child remarries and their
new spouse wishes to adopt the child but
the other natural parent is not there to
object-are there any checks on the prospective
adopter OR is is just assumed they are as they
present themselves and they are getting married
-so it must be ok!

The natural parent, if he is shown as the father on the birth certificate, has to give his approval to the adoption.
Maybe she did'nt put his name on the certificate then.

Yes, maybe.
Perfect Jeremy Kyle stuff. They will have to do a DNA test to delay matters
Over on Coronation Street, Michelle Connor meets a new love interest as she continues her extra work as an events organiser.
Michelle (Kym Marsh) meets up with a new client named Hamish in early January as he wants her to organise his daughter's birthday party.
Hamish immediately takes a shine to Michelle, but when he calls into the Rovers Return to ask her out for a drink, she initially declines the offer.
The pub's barmaid Eva Price is quick to claim that Michelle was mad to turn Hamish down, leaving Michelle regretful that she didn't seize the opportunity.
In the end, Michelle throws caution to the wind by agreeing to go on a date with Hamish after all - but is she just trying to make her ex-partner Steve McDonald jealous?
Hamish is played by actor James Redmond, who has previously had roles in Hollyoaks, Casualty and Emmerdale.

It's all right for me, sw. I don't watch Hollyoaks, Emmerdale or Casualty.:D
i saw him in casualty. But it seens that the soap stars are doing the rounds in the soaps. They all seem to be coming over to coronation street not the other way round. Except carl who went over to Doctors or holby city cant remember which one. Coronation street kept a bit real with unknown talented actors
I do like James Redmond. He hasn't been in anything for ages.

Not for very long though ...
I think people should stop being hard on Roy as he is punishing himself enough as it is. Alya is totally stupid for making excuses for Gary.
