On the night of his joint stag do with John Paul, will Ste be able to resist temptation? Holly is heartbroken when Jason breaks up with her, unaware that Cindy is behind his change of heart. Tegan offers Tony a shoulder to cry on but he ends up discovering a heart-breaking truth. John Paul and Lockie go on the run from the law and end up taking an unexpected journey.

It's Ste and John Paul's wedding day, but with both grooms missing it's still a long road to the altar. Tony is hosting Christmas lunch for his nearest and dearest, but will it be ruined by Sinead's explosive secret? Holly is delighted with her gift from Cindy and helps Dirk to return the favour for her mum. Sienna reaches new depths of desperation - will Dodger ever escape?

Sinead's life hangs in the balance, while Ste and John Paul's relationship is on shaky ground again. Nancy is desperate for more pills and has to decide whose help she needs most - Robbie's or Rick's.

Over on Hollyoaks, the festive season won't be a happy time for Sinead Roscoe when Tony Hutchinson humiliates her over Christmas dinner.

Upcoming episodes will see Sinead (Stephanie Davis) and Tony (Nick Pickard) decide to become a proper couple following their recent affair, but it seems as though they may not be destined for a happy ending.

The pair are shocked when Diane moves out of the village with the twins without revealing where she is going, which puts immediate strain on Tony and Sinead.

Things get worse when Tony suspects that he isn't really the father of Sinead's unborn baby and that she is lying to him.

Putting a spiteful plan into action, Tony waits until he and Sinead are gathered for Christmas dinner with Cindy, Dirk, Holly, Darren and Tom before confronting her with evidence of her deceit.

Sinead is embarrassed to be on the receiving end of an angry outburst from Tony in front of everyone, but will this tear them apart for good?

Show bosses recently confirmed that Ste Hay is the father of Sinead's baby, which will no doubt provide a unique challenge for their friendship in the New Year.

Christmas looks set to be a time of joy and sadness for the McQueen family on Hollyoaks this year.

The feisty clan try their best to carry on as normal by exchanging presents on Christmas Day, but Myra (Nicola Barber-Lane) struggles to cope as it's her first festive season without Carmel and Mercedes.

Looking at an old family photo, Myra can't help but think back on happier times and everything she has lost in the past few weeks.

Myra knows that she needs to put on a brave face as her son John Paul (James Sutton) will be marrying Ste Hay later that day. However, the McQueens are soon left wondering whether the ceremony will happen at all when they learn that John Paul and Lockie are both missing.

As previously reported, John Paul and Lockie (Nick Rhys) will find themselves on the run from the law while in fancy dress following an eventful stag night.

The mischievous pair hide out in a lorry, but disaster strikes when it drives off and later leaves them stranded in a remote location.

Just when it seems that John Paul's wedding plans are in tatters, however, he and Lockie manage to hitch a ride back to Chester when special guest star Ben Foden and a group of other rugby union players take pity on them.

Foden's intervention allows the wedding to go ahead without a hitch as Ste and John Paul tie the knot as planned, but there are fireworks when everything later goes wrong at the reception…

Hollyoaks airs these scenes in an hour-long episode on Christmas Eve at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
