I don't think I'll be watching the spin-off. None of the newbies can act from what I've seen. I'll wait and see what the general consensus is before deciding, though.

I am with you on this.. they seem so false or something.. maybe rushed is a better word.. all come at once

EastEnders newcomer Emer Kenny has admitted that she had to work hard to hide her "posh" accent as she prepared for her Albert Square role.

The actress, who plays Shirley Carter's niece Zsa Zsa in the soap and its online spinoff E20, ended up riding buses around the East End in order to get her character's voice right.

Kenny told PA: "My voice is completely different. I'm really posh and she's a lot harder than me!"

She continued: "On my first day on set the director said, 'What are you going to do about your voice?' I said, 'Just wait'. He said, 'You had better spend all weekend in the East End'. So I travelled on the bus a lot! I heard a lot of different accents and got into it."

Kenny has previously starred in 2009 movie Lesbian Vampire Killers, which was fronted by James Corden and Mathew Horne.

Yes, Emer Kenny has written a few episodes for Eastenders. Actually she wrote some episodes for the E20 spin off before being cast as Zsa Zsa.
