Round-up:

Ruby is excited as she prepares to propose to Ali, but a minor accident lands Ali in hospital. Kerry overhears the doctor asking Ali if she could be pregnant. Ruby is devastated to learn of Ali and Dan’s betrayal and decides to leave the village for good. Andy decides to accept the job at Home Farm after realising that Robert only offered it to him to make a point to Lawrence, who tries to cause tension between Robert and Chrissie but fails. Katie is pleased when Lawrence agrees to house her stables back at Home Farm. Chrissie tests Robert by putting him and Katie in close proximity. Cain finds out about Maxine’s
blackmail and how Moira has complained to the prison, but it is too late as Adam is admitted to hospital following a beating. With the farm under attack, Charity overhears about the situation and takes matters into her own hands rather than letting Cain get involved. She takes Maxine on a dangerous drive in a bid to scare her away for good, making it clear that she has nothing to lose. Laurel and Marlon disagree about what is best for April. Juliette dumps baby Carl on Jimmy. Nicola finds out that Jimmy has been lying and decides to tell Angel about her little brother. Doug and Diane finally go on a date together.

When does Emma Barton arrive?

Before the end of the year anyway is about all we know. She's probably been cast by now and probably filming, they're keeping it all very quiet. I think we could be in for some big Barton stuff, hopefully, i don't think we've hit the tip of the iceberg yet with John's side of the family. Moira's side of the family haven't even been seen in the 5 years they've been there, her mother was spoken of and Gavin Blyth did say she was "waiting in the wings", but after he passed away she was shelved, i think the ship's probably sailed now, she's missed all lthe big events she should've been there for. I want to be one of her niece's anyway, so i can go out with Ross as we won't be "blood" related LOL, got it all planned i have

Yes i was thinking that, or at least just in time to ruin it anyway :), but Kate Oates hasn't said anything on that, just that'll be a big time for Andy and Katie, so maybe the Barton's will blend into the background until after new year

Round-up:

In the aftermath of the party Vanessa is chuffed when Kirin tells her that all his friends approve of her – but do her friends approve of him? At the garage, Debbie feels unable to trust Ross any more and refuses him any work. It seems that her judgment is correct when Charity catches him trying to sell Shirley’s car. Charity has fewer scruples than her daughter and immediately sees the opportunity for blackmail. Tricking Aaron into her scheme, she soon has him and Ross locked up in the barn. Nicola and Jimmy ask Rakesh for some legal advice but he warns them that they probably have no rights over Carl. As a result, Nicola becomes even more broody – is she about to do something stupid? After being arrested and breathalysed, Laurel is informed that she is being charged with drink-driving. Things are tense at Home Farm as Robert orders Andy about – until he is overruled by Lawrence. Robert is left smarting at the humiliation while Andy wonders what lies behind Lawrence’s new friendliness. Diane and Doug’s date goes so well that Victoria catches him sneaking out the following morning. Amelia does her best to get Ruby and Ali back together – and her plan seems to have worked. Belle is released and arrives home to general rejoicing by the Dingles. However, Aaron is concerned by how much she seems to have changed – then Lisa discovers something on her daughter’s laptop which has her worried sick. When Edna’s garden is trashed, Harriet decides to set up a community watch scheme – and Kerry is thrilled at the prospect of going undercover.

Coming up on Emmerdale, Laurel Dingle lands herself in trouble with the police as the pressures of her recent family troubles begin to take their toll.

Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) grows frustrated over the coming days as she can see that Marlon's young daughter April isn't coping following Donna's death, but Marlon stubbornly refuses to seek help from a grief specialist.

When Laurel meets Nicola King for lunch and discusses the problem over a glass of wine, she is suddenly interrupted by a call from the school, who tell her that April has fallen asleep in a lesson.

Laurel is asked to come and collect the youngster but is shocked on the way home when April confides her fears that Marlon might die.

As Laurel tries her best to deal with the difficult conversation, she is suddenly pulled over by PC Swirling and accused of driving erratically.

Laurel is ashamed when Swirling explains that he will be forced to breathalyse her after she admits that she has been drinking. How will Laurel react when she is told that she is over the legal limit?

Another stupid storyline. Why wouldn't she call Marlon to pick up April or call taxi when she's been drinking?? Very out of character to be this irresponsible.

Sounds like it could be a hangover and the drink's still in her system - to her horror no doubt, or there's something sinister going on and she wants to be rid of April . If she is actually drinking on the day then if she gets more out of character she'll end up in a passionate affair with Ross, she finds it really exciting that he carjacked her and finds him insanely attractive

Monday 3 November

Ross offers to work at the garage but Debbie refuses, not prepared to trust him again. Soon afterwards in the pub, Charity tries to reach out to Debbie, who reveals that she has paid for Noah's ski trip herself.

When Charity's client Shirley arrives, Charity is wary as she spots Ross glancing at Shirley's expensive car. Charity is on the verge of securing a deal but soon Shirley discovers that her car has been stolen. Charity is furious and confronts Ross who denies everything, remaining unreadable. Is Charity impressed with Ross's gall?

Meanwhile, it's the aftermath of the party and Vanessa is pleased when Kirin tells her that his friends all approve of her. But do Vanessa's friends approve of him?

Elsewhere, Nicola and Jimmy go and see Rakesh to ask for legal advice over baby Carl, but he informs them they probably have no rights over him. Despite this, Nicola remains determined there must be a way. Later, Juliette arrives at Mill to give Jimmy the chance to say goodbye to Carl. Nicola is saddened to see Jimmy so besotted and is annoyed that Juliette has only given them half an hour. Will Nicola do something drastic to try to keep Carl in their lives, and at what cost?

Tuesday 4 November

With April still not sleeping, Laurel suggests to Marlon that they should take her to a specialist to help her with grief, but Marlon denies they need help. Laurel meets Nicola for lunch and discusses her marital problems over a glass of wine, only to be interrupted by a call from April's school. Laurel is pulled away to go and collect her.

Having picked April up, Laurel is shocked when April that says she is scared Marlon might die. Mid conversation, Laurel is stunned further when she is pulled over by PC Swirling, who explains that she was driving erratically. It goes from bad to worse when Swirling tells her how he will be forced to breathalyse her after she admits to having had a glass of wine earlier.

Meanwhile, Charity finds Ross trying to sell Shirley's car. She blackmails him, threatening to tell Cain and Moira what he has been up to. Charity tells Ross that she has sold the car off for parts and their buyer wants even more. Ross says he can't take the car apart himself but Charity has a plan - a plan that may require helpers…

Elsewhere, Amelia refuses to do anything without Ruby. Dan promises Ali that she will get past this, while Kerry tells Amelia she has a plan to get Ruby back.

Also today, Nicola is worried about the repercussions over what she has done, but is relieved when Jimmy tells her that he has convinced Juliette to drop the matter. Later, Nicola shocks Laurel when she reveals that she wants to have another baby, but how will Jimmy react to hear of Nicola's new desire?

Finally, Doug invites Diane on another date and is thrilled when she makes a suggestion, while Debbie is touched when Noah tries to make her breakfast to thank her for looking after him.

Wednesday 5 November

Marlon is still furious with Laurel, who insists that she didn't know she was over the limit. She tries to cover her distress as Doug returns.

Doug is later concerned that Marlon is neglecting Arthur as he and April prepare for the bonfire party. They clash as Doug tries to discipline April. As the adults squabble, Arthur finds the box of fireworks and takes them outside on his own.

Meanwhile, Charity gives Ross his share of the money as he shows off another car he has stolen. When Aaron arrives, he and Ross realise that Charity has tricked them into working together. When they refuse, Charity locks them both in the barn knowing the confined space and level of aggression between them will soon force them into sorting out their differences.

Elsewhere, Andy refuses to help with some removal work at Home Farm and Robert suggests he should quit. Andy begrudgingly follows Robert's orders. Soon Robert is humiliated by Lawrence who insists Home Farm stays as it is, undoing all of Robert's work. Later, Andy is surprised at the genuine warmth between Chrissie and Robert as they embrace. Lawrence offers to pay for Andy and Katie's engagement party. He is seemingly keen to form a bond with Andy, but why?

Also today, Diane and Doug are loved up following last night. Diane is keen to keep things quiet, but Victoria soon catches Doug sneaking out.

Finally, Debbie is wary when Charity pays her back for Noah's ski trip, while Harriet agrees to help Amelia with her plan to get Ruby home and Kerry is pleased to hear about it, keeping the plan a secret from Dan.

Thursday 6 November

Diane and Victoria make plans for Katie and Andy's engagement party. Lawrence and Robert continue to irritate each other and Lawrence suggests Chrissie gets a pre-nup but she refuses. He reminds her how even Robert's own family don't trust him, but Chrissie still won't listen. Soon afterwards, Victoria tells Robert to stay away from the engagement party but Robert is intrigued when she lets it slip that Andy is having 'anger management'. Robert tells Chrissie that their best option would be to get Lawrence on side and suggests attending the engagement party to start building bridges.

Later at the party, Andy makes a speech as Robert and Chrissie arrive and Andy is forced to hide his feelings. Robert smiles to see a frustrated Andy leave his own party. Lawrence finds Andy brooding outside and suggests if they work together, maybe they can get Robert out of their lives for good. Will Andy agree to help Lawrence?

Meanwhile, Laurel nurses a hangover and feels guilty as she hides her empty wine bottle from Marlon. He apologises for last night and promises to make it up to her later. Laurel wonders if her day can get any worse after messing up a factory order at work, but PC Swirling then arrives with further bad news - she has being charged with drink driving. Will Laurel come clean to her husband?

Elsewhere, Amelia wants to get Ali and Ruby back together and gets Harriet onside to help her with a poem recital. But will Amelia's heavy-handed hints work on her mum and her partner?

Also, Marlon wishes Zak and Lisa luck with Belle's resettlement meeting. Although Zak is optimistic, Lisa is deeply worried about how Belle is going to cope.

Thursday 6 November (2)

When Andy turns down the offer, a very determined Lawrence knows he needs another plan if he is to scupper his daughter's relationship with Robert. At the same time, Katie warns off Robert when he suggests that Andy could lose his temper with her.

Later Andy and Katie discuss what has gone on, but Katie is thrown when Lawrence makes her an offer - she can have the farm if she colludes in exposing Robert. Katie is stunned and left reeling as she's being asked to be the bait in a honeytrap, but will she agree?

Meanwhile, Ruby feels guilty for upsetting Amelia and regrets returning to the village. Amelia apologises for lying and causing such upset but insists she must still love Ali. Ali asks Ruby to give her one last chance. Soon she sees Ruby getting into a taxi and promptly blocks it from leaving. Although Ruby is reluctant at first, Ali declares her love and kisses her. Ruby responds and leads her into the house. Ali is determined to fix things between them, but will it prove easy?

Elsewhere, Lisa is stressed ahead of Belle's return and Zak is worried about her. Chas offers her support.

Also, Laurel finally confides in Marlon.

Finally, when Edna's garden is trashed, Harriet sets up a community watch scheme - confident she can catch the vandals.

Friday 7 November

Katie has not yet told Andy about Lawrence's offer and is thrown when Lawrence asks her if she's made up her mind yet.

Katie knows she has to tell Andy, but how will he take it and could Lawrence start to regret ever involving the pair?

Meanwhile, Ali feels awkward around Ruby, worried that she might be changing her mind. Later a troubled Ruby confides in Brenda, thinking that her and Ali's relationship may be broken for good. Brenda makes an observation and soon Ruby is offering Ali her engagement ring. Ali is thrilled that things are back on track.

Elsewhere, Belle is released and welcomed by everyone. Zak and Lisa are encouraged that she seems to be handling things well, but Aaron is troubled to see how much she has changed. Lisa also soon makes a discovery on Belle's laptop, which worries her.

Also today, Harriet's first COPS meeting is staged and she suggests going undercover. Kerry is thrilled at the idea.

She's actually drinking on the day..meeting Nicola for a lunch over the glass of wine when she suddenly gets a phonecall from school to pick up April. Anyone responsible(like I thought Laurel was-but then again she did try to kill Ross with scissors??! :/ ) in that situation would call someone else to pick her up or give a lift or call taxi.

Emmerdale's Belle Dingle sparks both joy and concern from her loved ones as she returns to the village next week.

Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) arrives home after being released from youth custody following her punishment for the accidental death of her best friend Gemma Andrews.

The teenager receives a warm welcome from everyone as she makes her return, and her parents Zak and Lisa are particularly pleased that she seems to be in good spirits.

Aaron Livesy has a different outlook as he seems troubled to see how much Belle has changed since he last saw her, while Lisa is also soon provided with reason to worry when she makes a concerning discovery on Belle's laptop.

Having been anxious over Belle for a while, is Lisa overreacting as she starts to worry, or is there really more trouble to come following her daughter's return?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Friday, November 7 at 7pm on ITV.

Emmerdale youngster Arthur Thomas faces a potentially dangerous situation at home in Wednesday night's episode (November 5).

In the build-up to a bonfire party, Arthur takes a box of fireworks outside on his own while the adults are busy squabbling with each other.

Hit play below for a first look at Arthur's risky move:

http://bcove.me/e5u9ls22

Charlotte Bellamy, who plays Arthur's mum Laurel, recently explained that the scary moment could be "a wake-up call" for her character following her recent problems with husband Marlon.

She said: "Laurel and Marlon are basically arguing the whole time, really. As they're arguing, they take their eye off the ball and Arthur runs around and nearly lights a firework, which is another wake-up call that they're not on track and not themselves."

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Wednesday at 7pm on ITV.
