Is this the week of the wedding and Peter's trial and is this why ITV are not releasing spoliers?
Round-up:
Tony is furious and begins packing his bags after Liz visits Jim in prison. Deirdre feels terrible, knowing that Liz went to visit Jim for her sake. With pressure mounting as Peter’s trial looms, the Barlows have a huge row and Deirdre decides to get away from the Street. The Nazirs oversee the conversion of the old butcher’s shop into a new community centre. Kal faces more problems with Zeedan, who refuses to allow Leanne to join the family’s Eid celebrations. Alya and Gary flirt as they work together and they eventually kiss, but Alya realises quickly that a relationship would not be condoned by her family.
Kylie convinces Eva that Callum is in her past, but after an argument with David, she returns to her old haunt and ends up
buying speed from Callum. She soon faces the wrath of David and Audrey as they realise that she has lied about where she has been.
A visit to the doctor about a suspicious mole leads Steve to confront his depression. As Kirk and Beth overwork themselves to raise funds for their wedding, they are finally forced to admit their financial limits. Sinead does her best to help, suggesting a shabby but chic wedding. Peter leaves Carla shaken when he calls her from a borrowed mobile phone to tell her that he still loves her.
Monday
Liz confides in Eileen and Sean that she is going to see Jim and will tell him to stop victimising Peter.
When Tony arrives home early from his trip, Liz tells him that she is going to see a girlfriend. However, how will Tony react when Sean unwittingly lets slip where Liz has really gone?
Meanwhile, the work begins on refurbishing the butchers and turning it into the community centre. Kal asks Zeedan to go home and help prepare the Eid banquet, but Zeedan says there is no way he will cook for Leanne. Alya is furious with her brother, but Leanne tells Kal that she feels uncomfortable causing the family problems.
Elsewhere, Gary and Alya find it hard to hide their feelings for each other and are nearly caught by Kal.
Also, Kylie convinces Eva that Callum is her past and David and the kids are the only ones that matter to her.
Monday (2)
Liz is faced with a furious Tony at the prison gates and he demands that she doesn't go in. However, Liz tells him that she doesn't do ultimatums and continues into the prison to see Jim.
Once inside, Liz is furious when Jim tells her that he will lay off Peter if she carries on visiting him. Back at The Rovers, Liz finds Tony packing his bags. Will she be able to persuade him to stay?

Meanwhile, Gary and Alya continue to flirt whilst working on the butcher's shop and Zeedan invites Gary to join them for the Eid celebrations. Later at the bus stop, Alya steps in for a kiss with Gary. Is she wanting to move their relationship on?
Elsewhere, Deirdre feels terrible about the predicament Liz is now in, knowing that she went to visit Jim for her sake.
Wednesday
As Ken drones on about Peter's trial, it's clear Deirdre is feeling the strain. Rob invites Carla round for dinner but as they sit down to eat, Peter calls the house and asks to speak to Carla. When Carla hangs up on him, Tracy is furious and as the row escalates Deirdre loses the plot.
Ken suggests maybe it is time Deirdre spent some time away with her friend Bev, as she is clearly struggling to cope with everything. Will Deirdre agree?
Meanwhile, as Kylie goes to give Max his pill, she discovers that David is keeping the cupboard locked. Furious that he still doesn't trust her, she storms off to The Rovers and comes home steaming drunk, where she begs for his forgiveness. Will David give Kylie the assurances she needs?
Elsewhere, Alya tells Gary their kiss was a mistake - they are from different cultures, he's got a partner and a child and her family would never condone their relationship. Begging him to accept it can go no further, she leaves.
Also today, Liz tries to put Tony out of her mind and Steve is worried about a mole on his arm.
Friday
Worried about a mole on his arm, Steve has made an appointment with the doctor.
After examining the mole and telling him it is fine, the doctor becomes concerned that there is something else troubling Steve. Will Steve open up?
Meanwhile, when Kylie suggests a spur of the moment trip to the seaside, she is thwarted by David who points out that he has to go to work. Unaware that David has persuaded Audrey to give him the afternoon off, a disappointed Kylie heads over to The Dog and Gun and spends the day playing pool with Gemma and Callum. She then asks Callum if he can get her anything to give her a lift. Will he oblige?
Elsewhere, under pressure from Ken and Tracy, Rob finds himself railroaded into agreeing to attend Peter's trial out of support for the family.
Also, as Kirk and Beth struggle with all the extra hours they are working to pay for the wedding, Sinead comes up with a plan that won't mean them working themselves into the ground.
Friday (2)
Steve admits to the doctor that he is not himself and feels his life is pointless. The doctor reckons he might be suffering from depression, but Steve tries to make light of it and makes his escape.
Once home, Steve skirts around it and just tells Liz that the mole is nothing to worry about, but she can't help noticing that he still seems very down.
Meanwhile, Callum enjoys taunting Kylie, reminding her of her past before giving her the wrap of speed she so desperately wants. At the same time, David tells Audrey that he is worried about Kylie and didn't buy her story about going to do a friend's nails. When Kylie gets back, Audrey tears a strip off her and tells her that she needs to grow up. How will Kylie react to Audrey's ticking off and David's concerns?
Elsewhere, Sinead and Chesney explain to Beth and Kirk how they could cut costs by having a shabby chic wedding. The couple finally admit they can't afford the extravagant wedding Beth had set her heart on, but will Sinead be able to save the day?
Also, Peter phones Carla from a borrowed mobile and tells her he still loves her, leaving her shaken.

Oh well, that's my theory out the window! :hmm:
Deirdre Barlow will reach breaking point in Coronation Street next week as she continues to feel the strain of Peter's impending trial.
Already feeling terrible about the predicament Liz is in after learning she has been visiting Jim because of her, Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) starts to crack as Ken continues to discuss Peter's trial.
When Rob invites Carla around for dinner, they are interrupted when Peter calls the house and asks to speak to Carla. However, when Carla hangs up on him, Tracy is furious and a row soon escalates.
With Deirdre close to breaking point, it becomes clear that she is not coping with the strain of recent events, leading Ken to suggest that maybe she should spent some time away with her friend Bev.

Bosses have confirmed that Anne Kirkbride will be taking an extended break from the show. She is expected to be absent from the role for three months, returning early in 2015.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, October 8 at 7.30pm on ITV.
Steve does'nt look depressed. He looks no different from any other time. I wish the producers would build up to a storyline properly.
Looks like Deidre is about to give Tracey a second portion of trifle over her head.

As a lifelong fan of Corrie, it seems I`m watching more from habit than anything else. These lot of spoilers doesn`t give me much to look forward to.
It says a lot when I enjoy seeing baby Oleg in his zebra suit during the ad break more than Corrie episodes these days. Sad but true.
