EastEnders' Ronnie Mitchell will shock her sister Roxy when she arrives back in Walford later this month.

Viewers last saw Ronnie (Samantha Womack) in June when she decided to leave Albert Square after discovering that she was pregnant.

Ronnie's exit came following a difficult few weeks, which saw her end her relationship with Charlie Cotton (Declan Bennett) and attempt to dispose of a gun that she had been keeping.

With Phil currently the only person who knows about Ronnie's pregnancy, Roxy (Rita Simons) is shocked when Ronnie visits her with a visible baby bump.

As the sisters begin to talk, Roxy discovers the truth about the baby's father and reveals her own relationship troubles, with Aleks being married. Will the Mitchell siblings have some useful advice for each other?

Several Walford residents will be rocked by the return of Ben Mitchell on EastEnders next week as the teenager makes an appearance following two years away.

Viewers last saw Phil's son Ben in 2012 when he handed himself into the police, confessing that he was responsible for killing Heather Trott.

The troubled teenager has since been serving a stretch behind bars but Phil (Steve McFadden) learned several months ago that Ben had actually been released.

As Shirley (Linda Henry) sets about arranging Phil's stag-do next week, Jay interrupts her plans when he tells Phil that he has a surprise for him.

However, Phil is left stunned when he heads over to The Arches for his surprise only to see Ben, who is now played by Harry Reid.

The reunion does not go as planned as tensions start to run high when Phil struggles to reconnect with his estranged son.

Phil is delivered a further shock when Ben reveals that he has come back to make sure his dad doesn't marry Sharon, but Phil is quick to inform him of his plan.

Later, Phil and Ben receive an icy reception when they arrive at his stag-do at The Vic. A worried Mick tries to make an oblivious Shirley stay upstairs but is unsuccessful and when Shirley spots him she furiously lashes out.

Attempting to defuse the situation, Mick tells Ben to leave but Phil shows his support for his son by leaving with him.

However, Sharon (Letitia Dean) is less welcoming to Ben and refuses to let him stay in the house, worried for her young son Denny, but Phil is quick to overrule her and Ben agrees to stay until the wedding.

As Sharon continues to give Ben a hard time, Roxy (Rita Simons) is quick to remind her that Sharon that Phil would choose Ben over her.

After a change of heart, Sharon starts to feel sorry for Ben and later asks him if they can start again. Taking him to The Vic, she makes a speech welcoming him to their family, much to Phil's joy and Shirley's outrage, but is the trouble only just beginning for Ben?

Monday

When Jay collects his belongings from the Mitchell house, Phil persuades him to stay for the wedding. Soon afterwards, Shirley's good mood starts to arouse confusion and suspicion, especially when she takes the time to compliment Sharon.

Later, Shirley arranges Phil's stag party, which will include free drinks and food at The Vic. Before Phil can head over to the pub, Shirley turns up at his place hoping for another hook-up before his big night, but they're interrupted when Jay arrives. Shirley is forced to hide as Jay takes Phil over to The Arches and reveals a huge surprise - Ben is there waiting for him…

Meanwhile, Charlie bonds with Roxy when he helps her with the favours she is doing for Sharon's wedding. Later, Roxy is left disappointed when Aleks backs out of going to the wedding with her and Sharon chooses Linda to be her matron of honour.

Elsewhere, things are looking up for Lauren when Dean invites her to be his guest at the wedding.

Also today, Abi fears that Jay doesn't really want to move to Bolton with her.

Tuesday

The atmosphere is awkward at The Arches as Phil struggles to reconnect with Ben following his surprise reappearance. Ben shocks Phil by admitting that he has come back to make sure that he doesn't marry Sharon, as he thinks his dad should be with Shirley instead. Phil decides to tell Ben about his secret plan.

Later, Ben joins Phil for his stag party at The Vic, but he doesn't get a warm welcome. Mick tries to keep Shirley unaware of Ben's return, but his efforts fail and when she spots Ben, she is quick to lash out. Mick orders Ben out of the pub, but Phil stays loyal to his son by leaving too.

Back at the Mitchell house, Sharon insists that Ben can't stay as she fears for Denny's safety, but Phil overrules her and it seems that Ben will be staying until the wedding.

Meanwhile, as Shirley gets involved in a war of words with Sharon at The Albert, Sharon loses patience and throws red wine at her. Unfortunately, Sharon's fury also leads to her accidentally hitting Linda.

Elsewhere, Dean promises Tosh that he will talk to Tina for her. Later, Dean shares a heartfelt moment with Shirley after he gets involved in a confrontation with Ben. After getting drunk, Dean has a surprising proposal for Tosh - he could help her have a baby.

Thursday

Aunt Babe gives Shirley food for thought by pointing out that her anger towards Ben could ruin her plan with Phil. Sharon is also still uneasy around Ben and continues to give him a hard time at the Mitchell house. When Roxy pays a visit and is excited to see Ben, she is quick to remind Sharon that Phil would always choose Ben over her.

Linda also tells Sharon that she should give Ben a chance, so she finally relents and tries to build some bridges. She asks him if they can start again following the recent tension and takes him to The Vic, where she makes a speech welcoming Ben into the family. Phil is clearly pleased but Shirley is outraged.

Meanwhile, Denny tries to help his mum and packs Sharon's make-up bag into her overnight bag to stay at The Vic. As the make-up bag contains the gun, could there be trouble ahead?

Friday

The preparations for Sharon's wedding are well under way at The Vic, but there's a hitch when she doesn't like her hairstyle.

At the same time, Phil is stunned when Ben tells him that he should marry Sharon after all. Phil is given even more food for thought when Aunt Sal and Ronnie arrive, disapproving of the wedding and making it clear that the whole family is against the marriage.

Later, Ronnie has some firm words for Phil - if he loves Sharon he should marry her, but if he doesn't, he should walk away. When Phil heads to see Sharon, he is stopped by Shirley who issues him with an ultimatum of her own, telling him that it's now or never. Who will Phil choose?

EastEnders has previewed a tense moment between Phil Mitchell and Sharon Rickman in a new trailer.

Sharon (Letitia Dean) is confronted by Phil (Steve McFadden) on their wedding day about her plot for revenge against him.

Viewers will know Sharon has been stealing from Phil after discovering he was responsible for her attack at The Albert.

Dressed in a wedding dress, and singing along half-heartedly to REM's 'Everybody Hurts', Sharon tells him: "This is where it ends."

A previous trailer was released previewing dramatic autumn storylines for the women of Walford.

Phil and Sharon's wedding airs on Friday, September 26 at 8pm on BBC One.

With Kat (Jessie Wallace) still recovering in hospital following the shock blaze, she decides that it's time to remove the dressing from her face and look at her burns.

A guilty Alfie is concerned over Kat's decision as he fears that she won't be able to cope with the situation, but he and Stacey are both there to support her as she goes ahead with her plan.

As Kat sees the extent of her injuries, will she and Alfie be able to stay strong and united or will it all become too much for one of them?

EastEnders bosses are lining up another big surprise in tonight's episode (September 25).

The show's team have been teasing viewers on Twitter over the past two days, flagging up the episode as one which is not to be missed.

Executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins fuelled the speculation on Twitter this morning, warning that fans should watch the episode as it airs on BBC One to avoid missing out on the shock factor.

#EastEnders tonight at 1930hrs. Let's just say you should watch this episode as it airs... #Surprise

— DomTreadwellCollins (@dominictc) September 25, 2014

Meanwhile, on the show's official Twitter account, a message has been posted up teasing: "The best things come to those who watch."

Apart from the teasers, EastEnders chiefs are keeping very tight-lipped about what is in store - leaving fans to wonder whether the surprise is a returning character or another shocking storyline twist.

Unusually, no preview tape has been provided to the press for the episode ahead of transmission.

EastEnders bosses have been praised for managing to keep some of their biggest storyline twists under wraps this year, including Jay Brown and Ben Mitchell's possible involvement in Lucy Beale's murder, the revelation that Shirley Carter is Mick's mother, and the surprise returns of Jane Beale, Honey Mitchell, Anthony Trueman, Rainie Cross and Ryan Malloy.

The show continues tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
