Ever wondered what its like to live on Coronation Street?

Well, fans of the long-running ITV soap can now get a better understanding of the layout of the street thanks to Ordnance Survey.

They have worked on a detailed map of the soap's latest home in Salford Quays, which features building outlines, street layout and footpaths.

The large-scale map also includes house numbers, building names and character details.

Ordnance Survey's Rob Andrews said: "This has been a great project and highlights Ordnance Survey's commitment to accurately map the rapidly changing face of Great Britain.

"This is one of the most famous streets in the country; however, it is only one of 87 other Coronation Streets which feature on the OS database."

According to Ordnance Survey, there are also 171 Coronation Roads, 93 Coronation Avenues, 2 Coronation Mews and 8 Coronation Squares in the UK.

However, the Rovers Return is a less common pub name than you might expect, with only four others in the country. There are 54 Woolpacks and 24 Queen Victorias.

Thanks for that, I always get confused about the layout of Coronation Street and its surrounds (the same goes for Albert Square too).

Heres a link (https://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/docs/press/coronation-street-map.pdf) to the original map if you want to see it in full size.
