Whats this all about? "Debbie struggles to pick up the pieces" Debbie lies for her evil mother and Pete leaves her over it all? OMG I hate where this is going for Debbie & Pete, and will Charity think of her daughters happiness and come clean with the truth? Most unlikely.

Coming up on Emmerdale, the tension between Aaron Livesy and Ross Barton reaches boiling point, forcing Cain Dingle to step in.

As the day of Aaron's sentencing arrives, Chas and Adam visit him and although Aaron tries to put on a brave face, it is clear he is very anxious.

Afterwards they return to the pub and reveal that Aaron (Danny Miller) got a suspended sentence. Everyone is happy to see him except Ross (Michael Parr), who is furious over the news.

Unable to hide his anger any longer, Ross squares up to Aaron menacingly and it becomes clear that their feud is far from over.

Following their run-in, Aaron does his best to ignore Ross who appears determined to cause trouble for him.

Later, Cain warns James that he must persuade Ross to leave Aaron alone, but will James's efforts backfire?

There is a dark turn in store for Charity Sharma in Emmerdale next week when her young son Noah collapses from poisoning.

With Megan (Gaynor Faye) more determined than ever to expose Charity's scheming ways, she manages to rope her partner Jai (Chris Bisson) into hacking Charity's bank accounts.

Unfortunately, their plan backfires as they present the new evidence to Declan (Jason Merrells), who insists that he already knows the abortion was Debbie's.

As the police arrive to arrest a furious Megan for breaking the terms of her restraining order, Megan swears revenge on Charity (Emma Atkins).

Having felt unwell herself earlier in the week, Charity seeks medical attention but puts it down to the stress of recent events.

As she returns from the doctors, Declan dotes on her, but when Jai and Megan later arrive at Home Farm to collect Noah, Charity is furious and refuses to let Noah go to football.

As Jai tries to calm Charity down, Megan slips into the kitchen and makes a beeline for a bottle of pre-opened wine. She is soon stopped in her tracks by Noah, who tells her that it doesn't belong to her, prompting Megan to put the bottle back.

Later, Noah finds Jacob playing football and produces the bottle of wine he has taken from home. After taking a few swigs from the bottle, Noah decides against the idea, but things soon take a sinister turn when he collapses.

As Noah is rushed to hospital, Charity and Declan are informed that he is having an allergic reaction to a pesticide and it soon becomes apparent that it was planted deliberately in the wine, but who was responsible?

Monday

Megan and Jai are desperate to expose Charity by getting evidence from her bank statements. Jai manages to hack into Charity's account and Megan smells victory. They march straight round to Home Farm to drop the bombshell on Declan, despite Megan knowing she has broken her restraining order.

As they present their findings to Declan, Charity panics as her web of lies closes in, but Declan tells them that he already knows - the abortion was Debbie's. The police then arrive to arrest Megan who fumes at Charity, insisting she'll kill her for this…

Meanwhile, after visiting Aaron, Paddy and Chas worry about his state of mind, seeing that he has lost all hope of getting out. Edna overhears them and is overcome with guilt, wishing she could make amends.

Elsewhere, Debbie is enjoying spending time with Pete and believes she is now the happiest she has ever been. She asks him to move in with her, but when he just says he'll think about it, she is worried.

Also today, Jimmy has prepared Nicola a healthy but unappetising meal, telling her they've gone vegan. He watches her eat it but Nicola is later raging when she discovers that Jimmy hasn't been eating as well as he's been making out.


Tuesday

A concerned Declan goes to see Chas, explaining that he is worried for Charity after all of the drama since the miscarriage. He asks Chas to keep an eye on her. Later, Pete is floored when Megan confronts Debbie publicly in The Woolpack about aborting his baby. Pete is stunned and confused as he hears Debbie confirm it. Debbie is fuming, knowing that she is unable to drop her mum in it and leaves the pub devastated.

Back at home, things go from bad to worse as Debbie tries to tell Pete the truth about Charity, but he doesn't know whether to believe her and questions whether it was Ross's baby!

Meanwhile, riddled with guilt and worried about Aaron's forthcoming sentencing, Edna goes to visit him in prison. She makes a shocking admission to him, telling Aaron how a man once took his own life in a place like this because of her. She then explains the details to Aaron, leaving him stunned.

Elsewhere, Jimmy is flustered when Nicola suggests joining the gym together. He tries to put her off but she insists - this is clearly a war!


Wednesday

It's the day of Aaron's sentencing and Chas and Adam visit him beforehand. He tries to put on a brave face, but it's clear that he's anxious.

Later, they all return to the pub, revealing that Aaron got a suspended sentence. Everyone is happy to see Aaron except Ross, who squares up to him menacingly. It's clear their feud is far from over. At the same time, Victoria catches Finn checking out Aaron, but Aaron tells Adam he's not interested.

Meanwhile, Cain is determined to get to the bottom of what has gone on with Debbie and Pete. When he hears about the abortion he is troubled, sensing there is more to this. Cain soon realises the full picture.

Elsewhere, Charity is not feeling well and Declan comments that it could be down to stress. Charity secretly takes a pregnancy test but is relieved when it is negative. Later, Declan suggests that a poorly Charity should call the doctor.

Also today, Leyla tells Jai that it's over, which makes him want her even more. He tells her that he will leave Megan, as she has lost it anyway. However, later when Jai steels himself to dump Megan, she crumbles over the stress of everything that has happened with Charity. How can Jai dump her now?

Finally, Nicola discovers that Jimmy has been looking at Botox online. Will it be enough to make her give in?


Thursday

Declan dotes on Charity as she returns from the doctors, but she soon has more stress to contend with as she hears that her trucks have been trashed. Charity is quick to guess who is responsible. Megan is amused by the trouble the trashed trucks end up causing, commenting that Charity should not go around upsetting people.

Later, when Jai arrives at Home Farm to collect Noah with Megan in tow, Charity fumes and refuses to let Noah go to football. As Jai tries to calm Charity down, Megan slips off to the kitchen. She makes a beeline for a bottle of pre-opened wine, but Noah follows her in and tells her that it doesn't belong to her. Megan agrees and puts the bottle back before heading out, before Noah looks at the bottle with intent.

As the day continues, Noah finds Jacob playing football. He produces the bottle of wine and takes a couple of swigs before thinking better of it. Shortly afterwards, things take a sinister turn when Noah collapses…

Meanwhile, Alicia decides to fix Leyla up with Colin the fridge man. At the same time, Jai doesn't want to lose what he has with Leyla and tries to convince her they should be together and they kiss. However, when a guilt-ridden Megan suddenly arrives at the house with bad news about Noah, will Leyla be caught red handed?

Elsewhere, Aaron is hungover and seemingly regretful about his antics from the previous night as Finn sneaks down the stairs. Finn tries to kiss Aaron but it's awkward. Will Aaron think it was a mistake? Later, Ross fumes on hearing about it and heads to confront Aaron.

Also, Debbie tells Sarah that Pete won't be moving in after all. Later, Charity tries to bribe Pete into forgiving Debbie with a gift.


Thursday (2)

Charity and Declan are worried about Noah, who has been admitted to hospital. When a concerned Jai arrives, it doesn't help the situation.

Later, Noah's condition is improving slightly, but the doctor explains that he has had an allergic reaction to a pesticide. They discuss how Noah could have got hold of pesticide. It's not long before the finger of blame is being pointed, and Noah's account of seeing Megan with the wine appears extremely incriminating…

Meanwhile, Aaron does his best to ignore Ross, who is determined to cause trouble. Cain warns James to persuade Ross to leave Aaron alone, but will James's efforts backfire? Later at the graveyard, Bob is tidying Donna's grave, where an anonymous sunflower has been left. Bob clocks an approaching Ross holding another sunflower and is puzzled.

Elsewhere, Alicia's attempts to match make Leyla backfire, but Leyla lets it slip that she already has a man.

Also, Debbie and Charity argue about Pete, and Debbie is heartbroken when Pete refuses to give things another go.


Friday

Charity seems adamant that Megan is trying to kill her and maybe her son too, but Declan struggles to accept that Megan would do that. When the police arrive and confirm they found flouroacetate in the wine Noah drank, it leaves Charity with no doubt that Megan is responsible and she wastes little time in telling the police.

Later, when the police seek out Megan at Pear Tree, it's clear they are taking Charity's accusations very seriously…

Meanwhile, Ross tells Finn that he's going away for a bit. Finn thinks it would do him good to have a break, but urges him to come back. Ross goes to his father to take him up on the offer of money and James hugs him, heartbroken for his son. The intimacy with his father reveals the chinks in Ross's armour. Ross is non-committal about his return and Finn wonders if he'll ever see his brother again.

Elsewhere, Priya and Alicia are suspicious over who Leyla's new love interest is and probe her. Priya is later horrified to discover from Rakesh that it's Jai and she wants to have it out with him, but Rakesh stops her - if they keep it to themselves they can have the blessing of all her family.

Also today, Marlon is finding it hard to spend time alone with Laurel now Doug is staying with them. Soon Doug is forced to tell the truth.

Not much excitment this week, just the endless dribble of Charity getting away with all her scheming ways, AGAIN. Pete & Debbie on-again/off-again trival relationship. And boring Old Doug, who cares about the real reason why hes still with Laurel & Marlon.

When are they going to get rid of Tracy? Thats what I am waiting for. Grrrrr LOL.

I think it's September off Emmerdale for me-can't stand Charity getting away with everything so why would I torture myself?? Will stick to Corrie only this month. Hopefully things improve next month..

Megan and Jai tell Declan what they have discovered, but he says that he knows that it was Debbie and not Charity who had the abortion. Megan is arrested and swears revenge on Charity. Forced to go along with her mother's lie, Debbie confirms publicly that she had a termination, leaving Pete devastated. Debbie later tries to reassure Pete that she is covering for Charity, but he will not believe her, leaving their relationship in tatters. Charity feels unwell and suspects that she might be pregnant but is relieved when the results are negative. Noah steals some wine, but collapses after a couple of gulps and is rushed to hospital, where the doctor confirm that he has been poisoned with pesticide. Charity blames Megan, believing that she was trying to kill her, and contacts the police. A guilt-ridden Edna visits Aaron in prison and reveals more shocking facts about her past. Aaron appears in court and is given a suspended sentence. After celebrating, he and Finn end up in bed together, but it soon becomes apparent that Aaron regrets their one-night stand. Ross decides to leave the village and is cagey when Finn asks him if he will return. Jimmy and Nicola go on a health kick. Alicia tries to set Leyla up on a date, but Leyla's lack of interest arouses Alicia and Priya's suspicions. When pressed, Rakesh reveals all about Jai and Leyla's affair to a livid Priya, but suggests that they keep quiet for the sake of their forthcoming wedding.

Emmerdale businessman Jai Sharma could find his affair with Leyla Harding exposed after his sister Priya uncovers the truth in tonight's episode (September 19).

After Priya (Fiona Wade) and Alicia (Natalie Anderson) become suspicious over who Leyla's new love interest is, they decide to probe her. Priya is later horrified to discover from Rakesh that it's Jai.

Furious over her brother's infidelity, Priya wants to have it out with him straight away, but is stopped in her tracks by Rakesh, who gives her food for thought.

Rakesh explains to Priya that keeping Jai's affair with Leyla a secret could mean they can finally have the blessing of all her family, but what will Priya decide to do?
