Coronation Street killer Rob Donovan will find his problems intensifying next month after he worries that his murder weapon could be exposed.

Rob (Marc Baylis) panics when he overhears Owen Armstrong and Gary Windass discussing a building job they are about to start at the same place where he disposed of the weapon he used to kill Tina McIntyre.

After heading to the site, Rob desperately attempts to retrieve both the weapon and the stolen goods that he also disposed of, but he later runs into further trouble when returning to the street.

In a bid to stop Ken Barlow (Bill Roache) from talking to Carla, a scheming Rob offers to drive him to the hospital to visit Peter.

However, Rob is left terrified when his car is pulled over by the police, with the murder weapon and dodgy gear in the boot. Is his crime about to be uncovered?

Why is it that Rob always just manages to be around when people are talking about things to do with Tina's murder? How many conversations is that he has now overheard?

Hour-long episode

Rob panics when the police pull him over.
Rob panics when he overhears Owen and Gary discussing a building job they're about to start at the very place where he disposed of the murder weapon and stolen goods. After heading to the site, Rob attempts to retrieve the items, but will he go unnoticed?

Back on the street, Rob tries to stop Ken from talking to Carla by offering to drive him to the hospital to visit Peter. However, Rob is terrified when his car is pulled over by the police with the murder weapon and stolen goods in the boot. Is Rob's crime about to be uncovered?

Meanwhile, it's the day of The Rovers vs. The Flying Horse cricket match and Alya persuades Leanne to come along and support Kal. However, Zeedan is furious to see her there and makes his feelings clear. Leanne is hurt, while Kal is upset by his son's obvious disapproval. Will Kal be able to talk Zeedan round?

Elsewhere, Kylie is exhausted. Audrey agrees to look after Max while she watches David at the cricket match, but when she can't settle Lily, it's clear Kylie is on the edge.

Also today, Jason tries to persuade Tyrone and Fiz not to get a solicitor involved, but their minds are made up.

Finally, Tracy strikes another dodgy deal with Tony, while Neil ruins Lloyd and Andrea's romantic picnic.

Wednesday

Max's tablets seems to be working, but Kylie fears it's her fault that he has to take medication at all. At the salon, Kylie looks on jealously as Audrey commends Fiz on her well-behaved girls, praising her parenting.

Back at home, Kylie struggles with the salon accounts as Lily cries upstairs. Feeling the pressure, Kylie looks at Max's pills. Will she be tempted?

Meanwhile, Tyrone refuses to listen to Jason's apologies. Seeing he is upset, Eva urges Tony to speak to Tyrone and sort out the mess, as does an angry Eileen. Tony approaches Fiz, but when she interprets his words as a threat, she storms off and leaves Tyrone further incensed.

Elsewhere, Andrea is furious when she discovers that Neil lied to her, telling her that he hadn't heard from Jess and causing her to worry. Confronting Neil, Andrea tells him to stop hounding her, but will her pleas fall on deaf ears?

Also today, how will Ken react when he discovers that Tracy and Rob are ploughing on with their wedding despite Peter's predicament?

Friday

Having been up all night pouring over paperwork, Kylie is exhausted before she even starts her day at the salon. Struggling to concentrate, she heads out to get painkillers, but while home alone she picks up Max's pills and swallows two.

When Kylie returns to the salon looking much more together, David is pleased. In turmoil, Kylie later confides in Eva that she is a terrible mother, but will she confess the new depths she has sunk to?

Meanwhile, Lloyd is put out to see that Neil has placed an announcement in the Gazette celebrating his and Andrea's wedding anniversary. When Neil then arrives at the Bistro and parks himself at the table next to Lloyd and Andrea, she is left at her wits' end.

Elsewhere, Jason remains frosty towards Tony. Gutted, Tony pours his out to Eileen, explaining that he only wants the best for Jason. Will Eileen plead his case with Jason?

Also, Alya tells Julie it's obvious Dev fancies her.

Finally, when Amy accidentally cuts her hand, she sees the opportunity for some attention and lies that Eccles bit her.

Friday (2)

Eva tells Kylie that she'll have to confess to David before he realises some of Max's pills are missing.

Consumed with guilt, Kylie psyches herself up to confess, but will she be able to bring herself to tell David the awful truth?

Meanwhile, Neil takes great delight in winding up Lloyd and Andrea over their meal. As he shows Lloyd photos of their previous wedding anniversaries, will Lloyd be able to contain his anger? And will Andrea decide that she needs to take more decisive action to get Neil out of their lives?

Elsewhere, Eileen urges Jason to make up with Tony, pointing out that for all his faults, Tony does love him. Will Jason agree to bury the hatchet? At the same time, Todd seethes as both Jason and Tony make it clear they want nothing to do with him.

Also, Tracy tells Deirdre that Eccles should be put down for biting Amy. Simon is devastated, but will Tracy leave Deirdre with any option?

Finally, Mary is jealous as Dev and Julie enjoy a drink together, while Michael opens up to Gail about his fragmented family.

Just read from the link. It says Rob attempts to throw the weapon in the canal after moving it from the original location. So it does make sense!

Round-up

Rob begins to panic when he overhears Owen and Gary discussing a new building job – right on top of the spot where he disposed of the murder weapon. He goes to retrieve it but his car is stopped on the way back by the police. On the day of the cricket match between the Rovers and The Flying Horse Alya persuades Leanne to come along and support Kal, but Zeedan is furious to see her there. Kylie is at the end of her tether and offloads Max on to Audrey for the day, but she still cannot get Lily to settle. Exhausted, she blames herself for Max’s ADHD. Seeing Max’s pills, she swallows two and feels much better. But is it the beginning of a slippery slope – and what will she tell David? Jason tries to get Tyrone and Fiz not to get a solicitor
involved over Tyrone’s injury sustained during the loft conversion, but their minds are made up, and when Tony sticks his oar in it only makes matters worse. Neil is turning into the stalker from hell. First he puts an ad in the Gazette celebrating his and Andrea’s wedding anniversary, then he turns up at the Bistro and plonks himself down at the table next to her and Lloyd – leaving Andrea at her wits’ end. Tracy upsets Ken by insisting that her wedding go ahead, while Amy is turning into a chip off the old block when she cuts her hand and blames Eccles for biting her. Now Tracy is demanding that Eccles be put down..
