Hollyoaks has confirmed a huge shake-up for the McQueen family, with a trio of cousins arriving in the village and two original members departing.

As previously reported, a handful of new McQueen family members will be introduced and it has now been confirmed that Myra's nieces Celine and Porsche will arrive in the village.

Nurse Celine, played by Sarah George, is described as being in touch with her spiritual side and has a huge heart, but is is "nobody's fool".

Celine McQueen will find her body issues returning on Hollyoaks next week after upsetting incidents with both Kyle Bigsby and Pete Buchanan.

Viewers know that Celine (Sarah George) suffered with an eating disorder in the past, but she will find her problems reoccurring in upcoming episodes.

Celine's body issues are triggered after she does a defibrillator demo at football camp, but ends up falling into a pile of soil after a fight breaks out between Kyle and Zack Loveday.


When Celine is getting changed in the girls toilets at school, Kyle sneaks in to take a photo of her in her underwear, having already spent the day making several lewd comments towards her.


Afterwards, a furious Cameron Campbell threatens Kyle to delete the photo, but he becomes more concerned about Celine's reaction when she starts to cry.

Later, Celine enjoys a romantic date at home with Cameron, who has set up a candlelit picnic in her bedroom and the pair start to discuss plans for the future.

However, Pete walks by as Celine and Cameron are in bed and Celine is horrified when she spots him lingering for a little too long.


The next day, Celine and Cameron decide to pick up where they left off. However, as Cameron starts to unbutton Celine's shirt, Pete arrives again and ruins their plans.

As Pete continues to chip away at Celine's confidence with sly comments about her weight, she soon becomes flustered and leaves.

Distracted, Celine drops her handbag when she bumps into Dr S'Avage, where a brief glimpse of some surgical gloves and a syringe can be seen in her bag. Is Celine the Gloved Hand Killer?

Hollyoaks star Sarah George has warned of darker times ahead for her character Celine McQueen.

Show bosses will be revisiting Celine's eating disorder storyline as Pete Buchanan's sinister presence brings her old demons back to the surface.


Viewers already know that Pete sexually assaulted Celine's older sister Porsche when she was 15, and is currently focusing his evil attentions on her younger sibling Cleo.

Celine's own experiences with Pete have only been hinted at so far, but fans will soon see his sly behaviour take its toll.

Speaking of the trouble to come, George explained: "The dynamic between Celine and Pete is more about a power trip. Pete knows that he can knock Celine down and put her back to where she was.

"Pete does everything he can to make Celine feel uncomfortable. We've already seen little things like Pete looking through her bag, checking what she's going to wear and commenting on her 'squeezing' into certain clothes. That isn't a word you would use to someone who is recovering from an eating disorder."


She continued: "Pete was never sexual towards Celine. The idea is that he wanted to be, but it never got to that point because Porsche took Celine out of the house before he could. It wasn't because of Pete, but because of her eating disorder and how unwell she was getting.

"You'll see there's a lot more of it to come and Celine does go into a very bad downward spiral. Things seem to get worse as time goes on, and Pete plays Celine and Cameron off against each other."

Pete has so much power over Celine that she refuses to believe Porsche's revelations over his inappropriate behaviour.

George added: "The point of this story is to show that there's different types of abuse. The reason Celine doesn't believe Porsche is that she's been groomed by Pete and he's spent years manipulating her.

"Pete didn't get as far as he wanted to with Celine when she was younger. Now she's too old for him so he's moved onto Cleo, but he knows he can control Celine and it's still a form of abuse."

Hollyoaks has killed off Celine McQueen in a dark storyline twist.

The bubbly character's tragic fate was revealed in Monday's E4 first look episode (December 5), which saw her removed from the Hollyoaks opening titles after a two-year stint.

Celine has been murdered by serial killer Cameron Campbell, becoming the latest in a long line of unlucky victims.

Last week, viewers saw Cameron realise that he had to silence Celine forever after she'd threatened to expose the fact that he'd started the fire at the Halloween Spooktacular.

Although Cameron considered letting Celine go when she begged for mercy, he ultimately decided that she had to die after listening to a voicemail that her love interest Jesse Donovan had left for her.

With Jesse pointing out that Celine was bound to reveal the truth about the fire at some point, Cameron realised he was right – which sealed her fate in tragic scenes.

Monday's episode saw Cameron become tearful as he tried to deal with Celine's body, hating himself for what he'd done to his ex-girlfriend.

Sarah George played the role of Celine from November 2014, but filmed her devastating Hollyoaks exit in secret a few weeks ago.

Show bosses didn't announce her departure in advance so that fans would be surprised by the latest dark twist in Cameron's storyline.

With Celine dead, the big question now is how long it will take for her loved ones in the village to uncover her fate.

Jesse and Tegan get suspicious later this week when they hear that Celine hasn't turned up to meet her sister Porsche. The siblings had been planning to work on a cruise ship together just before Cameron struck.

Will the villagers put two and two together and realise that Cameron is responsible for Celine's disappearance?
