Meanwhile, John Paul McQueen's family are left devastated on Hollyoaks when they learn that he was raped earlier this year.

Viewers know that John Paul (James Sutton) was attacked by his student Finn O'Connor back in January, and although he reported the incident to the police, he chose not to tell them who was responsible.

As John Paul finally starts to tell Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) and Nana (Diane Langton) about the rape, the news understandably shocks them and they are left feeling guilty that he has suffered in silence for so long.

Nana in particular feels desperately saddened that she wasn't able to support her grandson through his ordeal.

The upsetting news begins to take its toll on Nana as her health begins to take a turn for worse. Meanwhile, Mercedes is left determined to get revenge for John Paul.

With Mercedes and the rest of the McQueens baying for blood, could it be the end of the road for Finn?

Sienna Blake's latest scheme backfires on Hollyoaks next week when her daughter Nico refuses to go along with her lies.

Ruthless Sienna (Anna Passey) has recently stooped to a new low by falsely claiming that Nico has cancer.

Sienna came up with the fake illness plan in the desperate hope that it would stop her twin brother Dodger Savage from leaving the village with his girlfriend Maxine Minniver.

Unfortunately for Sienna, she hasn't counted on Nico's conscience as the shocked teenager struggles to go along with such a sick lie.

Nico (Persephone Swales-Dawson) feels awful when Dodger and Maxine fuss over her due to her supposed illness. They even decide to throw her a prom-themed party and take £150 out of their own baby fund to buy her a new dress.

Although Nico manages to go along with the deception for a while, she reaches breaking point when Dodger (Danny Mac) makes a moving speech at the party.

After Nico runs off, Sienna finds her at home without her expensive dress on and wrestles with her daughter to put it back on.

Concerned by her mum's erratic behaviour, Nico finally decides to tell Dodger about Sienna's evil lie.

Viewers will have to wait and see what the aftermath of Nico's revelation is, but it's quickly followed up by another crisis when Maxine (Nikki Sanderson) finds Sienna's secret spy camera on the boat and assumes that Patrick is responsible.

Scheming Sienna advises Maxine to go back to America and escape Patrick's clutches for good. However, when Maxine leaves a message for Dodger and asks him to meet her, she is devastated to receive a reply telling her to go without him.

At the McQueen house, Nana overhears John Paul talking to Ste about being raped and is saddened that she wasn't able to help her grandson. Later, Nana suffers searing head pain and collapses. Has the shock taken its toll on her?

Meanwhile, Diane confides in Sinead that she should have been a better mother to her when Katy was ill. Sinead forgives Diane for not supporting her, but the net is closing in on another family member…

At the McQueen house, Mercedes is heartbroken when she finds out about John Paul's rape ordeal. It's not long before Mercedes is baying for blood.

Meanwhile, Grace is concerned when she finds Nana McQueen out cold on the bench and rushes to her aid.

Elsewhere, Tony has a proposition for Sinead.

Also today, Nico spends the day with Dodger and Maxine. Maxine suggests they should throw Nico a prom-themed party and gives her £150 out of the baby fund for a new dress. Nico is left guilt-ridden over the sympathy she is receiving following Sienna's sick lies about her being ill.


Wednesday

Sinead is forced to tell a shocking truth to someone close to her.

Meanwhile, Trevor and Grace are worried that Big Bob is chasing them for £50k by the end of the week. Grace also gets Nana a taxi to the hospital. Later, a delivery man turns up at the club to drop off Mercedes's drinks order, but confused Nana turns them away. Mercedes is on the warpath, but Grace takes the blame again. What is wrong with Nana?

Elsewhere, George and Phoebe host a fashion exhibit of Esther's designs, but when she gets a scathing review online, Esther is furious. She throws her dresses into the bin and finds a bag of money. It seems that Esther has hit the jackpot, but could she be putting herself in serious danger?

Also today, Nico can't play along with Sienna's sick games any longer.


Thursday

Maxine finds a secret camera on the boat. She thinks Patrick is spying on them, so Sienna advises her to go back to America. Fearing for her safety, Maxine agrees that it's time to leave - but how far will Sienna go to stop Dodger going with her?

Meanwhile, George urges Esther to do the right thing by handing the money into the police.

Elsewhere, Rick confronts Jason when he finds out that he failed all of his exams. With nowhere else to turn, Jason calls Stan and asks for a job. Later, Holly follows Jason and Stan to a squat and is left alarmed by the dark path that her boyfriend is taking.


Friday

With a life hanging in the balance, can the Blakes and the Savages unite to avert disaster?

Meanwhile, Esther tells Frankie and George that she has put an offer in on the coffee shop. How will everyone react to her surprise new business venture?

Elsewhere, Holly reports the squat to the police. Jason escapes, but they've already seen his face. Later, is there another surprise in store for Holly?

Grrr... Sometimes soaps frustrate me when characters don't do the obvious thing. Nico should of told everything Sienna came up with the lie, anyone else on the planet would have.

Also you'd think Nico would be a bit weirded out by finding out about the camera. I don't think she ever knew of it before last night but I might be wrong. She doesn't even care about it.
