Coming up on Emmerdale, Vanessa Woodfield's new romance storyline begins as she heads out for a night on the town.

Following a quieter spell in the romance department, Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) is hoping to meet the man of her dreams as she goes out to Hotten for the evening.

Vanessa is delighted when she attracts the attention of a handsome guy called Kirin and takes him home with her.

Smitten Vanessa is still very keen on Kirin the next morning, but she is given pause for thought when she discovers that he is the 17-year-old son of Priya Sharma's fiancée Rakesh!

Despite Kirin being much younger than her, Vanessa remains tempted by him and feels caught between her head and heart. What will Vanessa decide to do?

What will Vanessa decide to do?

Emmerdale bosses announced the arrival of Kirin last month, confirming that he will be a new regular character for the soap.

Adam Fielding, who is playing the role, said at the time: "I am thrilled to be joining Emmerdale as Kirin. He's only 17 but he's a cool and confident guy and isn't going to let his age stop him where Vanessa is concerned."

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, August 21 at 7pm on ITV.

It's like marlon be on chas side personal I think that why chas made a move on cameron as he was the only one to tell her the truth about the fire when her family kept it away from her. And cain was like what done is done, I'm not sure cameron was the love if her life I think she was low. I love that james is protecting aaron and chas over Adam I'm starting to like him more now . I guess cain be on moria side I hope everything comes out

Monday

Ross is shocked over Donna's death and news of her illness, heartbroken that she didn't confide in him. Riddled with guilt over how she died and confused over her feelings for him, Ross decides that he needs to tell Marlon the truth - but can he go through with it?

At the same time, Debbie feels for Ross, knowing the truth of his situation.

Meanwhile, Marlon is faced with the impossible task of telling April that her mummy is gone. He explains to her that Donna has gone to be a superhero in the sky.

Elsewhere, Aaron turns up at the Dingles' hoping to stay the night. However, when the police arrive for Cain in connection with a stolen car, it's clear there is more to Aaron's reappearance than meets the eye. Down at the station, Cain watches CCTV footage which clearly shows Aaron and Adam's handiwork. He is furious and demands to know more of what they were up to.

Also today, Megan is determined to expose Charity's 'affair' and asks Jimmy to be her spy!

Finally, a devastated Bob is struggling to come to terms with news of Donna's death and secret illness.


Tuesday

Marlon is worried for April, who cannot understand why her mum isn't coming back. He becomes determined to find out the truth and wants answers from the police about why she was operating alone that day, unaware of Donna's deception.

At the same time, Ross is in turmoil and gives April the money that Donna left for her. Marlon is shocked when he sees it and demands to know where she got it from. Hearing that it was from mummy's friend at the garage, he assumes it was Cain and charges round to the farm to find out why. However, Marlon is shocked to discover that it was Ross.

Ross tells Marlon that he was there when Donna died and that they were more than just partners in crime. Marlon struggles to digest the news that Donna was corrupt and a liar.

Meanwhile, Adam is in a real state and Moira worries about what Aaron has got him into, determined to get to the bottom of it. At the same time, Aaron and Adam plot to flee to France together. Cain is furious when he realises that Adam was working as a lookout for the job.

Elsewhere, Jimmy tells Charity about Megan asking him to spy on her and she hatches her revenge!

Also today, the Dingles lie to Paddy when he comes asking whether they have heard from Aaron.

Finally, Bob weeps over Donna.


Wednesday

Moira informs a shocked Paddy that Aaron is hiding out at the farm. Paddy heads straight over there and is overjoyed to see Aaron, throwing his arms around him. They are both emotional to be reunited.

At the same time, Adam and Aaron plan to go on the run together, fearful of Marlon shopping them to the police. Cain makes a plan, sorting a safe car and ferry tickets - but his plans are scuppered when the police show up, having found Aaron's fingerprints on the stolen car…

Meanwhile, Ross thinks Aaron is to blame for everything and goes on a rampage to find him. A brawl breaks out in The Woolpack.

Elsewhere, Marlon cannot believe Donna's corruption and confronts Ross, believing that he must have blackmailed her. He doesn't want the truth about Donna's dodgy dealings to get out.

Also today, Vanessa goes out hoping to meet the man of her dreams.


Thursday

Everyone is in crisis talks over how to hide Aaron. Chas frets over his fugitive lifestyle and is even more concerned when she spots fresh self-harm scars on him. When the police arrive to question her, she lies that Aaron is dead to her.

Later, Chas is determined to save her son and asks him to stay and take charge of his life. She decides the only solution is to shop Adam to the police, but when she tells Aaron of her plan, will he ever agree to it?

Meanwhile, a grief-stricken Ross replays an answerphone message Donna left for him, unable to believe she has gone. Spotting a police car, he is torn over what to do. Cain arrives and orders Ross inside Dale View, warning him that he'll go down if he opens his mouth about Aaron. At the same time, James tells Pete and Finn about the situation and asks them to keep an eye on their brother.

Elsewhere, Marlon covers for Ross and Donna with the police, determined to protect her memory. He tells them that she died a hero in the line of duty.

Also today, Vanessa has pulled and she is very keen on him - but is later mortified to realise that her hunky toyboy is Rakesh's 17-year-old son!


Thursday (2)

Aaron doesn't want Chas to hand Adam in. Moira and James also are horrified to hear of her plans. Chas picks up the phone to make the call, but Aaron is determined to talk her out of it. He delivers her an ultimatum - if she hands Adam in, he will never speak to her again.

At the same time, unbeknown to everyone, Edna has spotted Aaron leaving The Woolpack and has called the police!

Meanwhile, Marlon and Laurel panic over what to do to protect themselves, having lied to the police. They decide the cash Ross gave them is dirty money and decide to burn it - not realising April is watching.

Elsewhere, despite Kirin only being 17, Vanessa is tempted by him. She faces the classic dilemma of head or heart.

Also today, Charity has the last laugh over Megan.


Friday

Marlon struggles to explain to April when she says that she saw them burning mummy's money. Later, when Bob takes April for a picnic, he is keen to distract her when she brings up the money again, assuming she is just confused. He pops into the shop but April uses the opportunity to run off.

April heads over to the garage and asks Ross to take her to her mummy. He tells her to go away, but then instantly regrets it when he looks around and she has gone. Bob comes back out and panics realising April is nowhere to be seen!

Meanwhile, Cain comes up with a new plan, but things go wrong when the police find Aaron's driving license. PC Stone is about to arrest Chas when James intervenes.

Elsewhere, Vanessa is officially introduced to Kirin and they have a drink together.

Also today, Finn is upset and struggling over his damaged family. Pollard encourages him to have a chat with his dad but Finn is conflicted.

The game could be up for newly-returned Aaron Livesy in Emmerdale next week after Edna Birch spots him in the village and reports him to the police.

While Aaron's loved ones remain in crisis over how to keep him hidden, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is particularly concerned over his fugitive lifestyle and decides to take action.

However, Aaron (Danny Miller) could have bigger problems to worry about as unbeknown to everyone, Edna (Shirley Stelfox) has spotted him leaving The Woolpack.

Shocked by what she has seen, Edna then decides to report him to the police. What will her actions mean for Aaron?

Her character has had two separate stints in the long-running ITV rural soap - and is leaving for the second time.

In her final scenes, Donna heads off for a final showdown with the villainous Gary North (Fergus O'Donnell) but her plans to see him jailed go horribly wrong, devastating her friends and family in the village.

It is the finale of a plot that has seen the terminally-ill police officer go off the rails in a bid to secure her young daughter's future.

Rushworth, who first appeared on screen in 1998, left the soap in 2009 before rejoining the cast earlier this year.

Speaking about leaving the show, Verity told Digital Spy: "Without giving away anything too specific, you can expect a massive shock. A stunt, lots of drama, lots of heartache, lots of tragedy.

"It's a completely different end for Donna, which I don't think people will realise. And, just, lots of hurt and intensity. Tears and drama. Quite epic and a massive twist. Watch out for the twist!"

She added: "Donna's story of her journey with terminal illness is quite a unique one for her, because most people would want to spend lots of time with their family. But for her, she knows April's in danger and Gary North is a huge threat to April.

"As soon as she realises how dangerous Gary is, she has to prioritise protecting April over being with her and her last few weeks. Her priorities have shifted from what you'd think would normally happen."
