It's the day of the Herzig launch. Elliot, who is still struggling with his undiagnosed illness, desperately wants to get through the day with as little fuss as possible. However, when he freezes in theatre, he faces not only losing his life's work but the potentially devastating truth of what's really wrong with him.
Meanwhile, Serena is forced to bring her mother Adrienne in to work with her when her carer fails to turn up. Desperate to keep Adrienne secret, she 'hides' her on the ward but her plan fails miserably when Guy discovers what she's done. Though she ends her professional day triumphantly, she is given a stark insight in to what lies ahead.
Elsewhere, Zosia struggles to cope with Jesse's abrupt departure and lack of contact. Assuming the affair to be just another one of her 'friends with benefits' arrangements, Arthur dismisses her upset until Dominic makes him realise she's truly heartbroken. Can Arthur help Zosia back on the right path, or will he just make things worse?
