Meanwhile, John Paul McQueen grows closer to Ste Hay on Hollyoaks while supporting him through a tough time.

John Paul (James Sutton) tries to get Ste's life back on track after realising that he is still struggling with a serious drugs problem.

While spending time with Ste (Kieron Richardson), John Paul is shocked to find drugs stashed away in his drawer and realises that he needs some help.

John Paul ends up roping in Ste's father Danny so they can put on a united front with an intervention.

Although Danny is happy to support his son, he is also crushed that John Paul clearly cares so much about Ste.

Danny has been hoping to reunite with John Paul himself and has made this clear to the troubled teacher, but it's obvious that there's not much chance of that happening as John Paul's true feelings lie elsewhere.

Needing to find a way to make Ste see sense, John Paul and Danny decide to lock him in his room so that he can go cold turkey without drugs. However, a defiant Ste quickly takes control again by escaping out of the window.

Soon afterwards, John Paul tracks down Ste just after he has bought even more drugs. As they talk, John Paul finally reveals that he hid the gun to keep Ste out of the frame for Fraser's murder - but their conversation is overheard.

Later, the pair head to where John Paul buried the gun a few weeks ago, but are shocked further to find that someone has beaten them to it…

Sienna Blake is provided with another reason to distrust her twisted father Patrick on Hollyoaks next week as Nico reveals his latest betrayal.

When Leela Lomax finds Nico hiding out at the McQueen house, she contacts Sienna (Anna Passey) to let her know that her daughter is back on the scene.

Sienna is delighted to see Nico (Persephone Swales-Dawson), but her happiness is short-lived when Nico reveals that Patrick threatened her into staying away.

When Sienna confronts Patrick (Jeremy Sheffield) over his actions, he apologises to both her and Nico - desperately trying to explain away his controlling behaviour.

Nico decides to accept Patrick's apology, but neither of them are really willing to let this go and Sienna is blissfully unaware as they begin plotting against each other…

In yet more good news for Sienna, Tom Cunningham also promises to change the statement he made over her criminal behaviour - as long as she agrees to leave the Osborne family alone with no more games. Nancy goes with Tom to change his statement, but what will the fallout be?

Rick is shaken when a face from his past, Gazza, finds him and gives him 24 hours to get him what he is owed.

Later, Sienna is desperate for answers and sets her sights on Rick. She asks him to go for a drink, which ends in them kissing.

Meanwhile, when John Paul starts his new job as a teacher at the adult learning centre, he receives a shock as Danny is there too. It turns out that they've been double booked for the same class. At the same time, Nana realises that Ste has feelings for John Paul and urges him to go for it. However, when Ste sees John Paul and Danny looking friendly in the village, he thinks he's too late.

Elsewhere, Sinead ups her game, leaving Tony astounded.

Sienna proves she is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure she stays out of prison.

Meanwhile, worried that her plan is failing, Sienna makes Tony jealous by flirting with electrician Daryl at The Hutch. With Tony unable to resist temptation anymore, he kisses Sinead.

Elsewhere, things are on the up for John Paul's love life, but can he truly trust the person who holds his heart?


Wednesday

John Paul and Danny attempt to support Ste over his drug problem, but nothing can prepare Ste for John Paul's shocking revelation when he explains that he hid the gun for him.

To make matters worse, John Paul and Ste's conversation is overheard…


Thursday

The net closes in on Fraser's murderer.

Meanwhile, Leela is concerned when Patrick tells her Peri didn't turn up at school. Peri knocks on the McQueens' front door, where Nico is hiding. When Leela walks past the McQueens', she sees Peri from the window and Sienna is delighted when she finally finds her daughter. However, she is horrified when Nico tells her that Patrick told her to stay away.

Elsewhere, Nana turns up at The Loft but when Grace collapses in pain, Nana and Sandy wonder whether to leave her there.


Friday

Sam is hot on the trail of Fraser's murderer, while John Paul and Ste are under pressure.

Meanwhile, Sandy has left a note for the Roscoes, telling them that she's had enough of the fighting and she's not coming back. The boys find her at the bus stop, but will she leave the village forever or can they persuade her to stay?

Elsewhere, will Nana win back the McQueens' home?

Also today, Patrick seems to be making an effort with Nico, but is there more to his generosity than meets the eye?
