EastEnders barman Johnny Carter will bring his new love interest Gianluca Cavallo home to the Queen Vic next month.
Johnny (Sam Strike) met Gianluca for the first time in Friday night's episode (June 27) as they started chatting at a pre-Pride event in Soho.
The pair end up falling for each other after going ahead with their plan to attend Pride London together, so Johnny later makes the big decision to bring Gianluca (Gabriele Lombardo) along to his mum Linda's birthday celebrations at The Vic.
Although it's initially awkward for Linda, she tries to be happy for her son and Johnny is delighted as his new romance continues to go from strength to strength.
Sneaking upstairs during the party, Johnny sleeps with his new boyfriend but reality later hits home when the time comes for Gianluca to return home to Italy.
The young couple share a passionate kiss as they say their goodbyes at the Tube station, but will Johnny really be able to let Gianluca go?

Linda Carter's family make sure that her birthday is full of surprises on EastEnders next week.
Linda's husband Mick arranges for their son Lee to return from Afghanistan in time for her special day, hoping that he can keep his arrival a secret until the right moment.
As previously reported, Linda (Kellie Bright) also faces a slightly awkward introduction to her son Johnny's first boyfriend Gianluca. However, perhaps the biggest surprise of all comes later when the Carters put on a special show for her.
In front of a packed pub, Mick, Johnny, Nancy, Tina and Lee all serenade Linda while dressed as the Spice Girls. Will she be impressed when she sees Mick dressed as Posh?

Monday
Mick has arranged for Lee to return from Afghanistan in time for Linda's birthday, but he is keen to keep it a secret. With Lee back, Nancy is given the task of keeping Linda distracted - but will she be able to?
Later, Lee and Linda's emotional reunion is short-lived when Shirley makes a surprise appearance with another unexpected visitor - Heather's son George.
Meanwhile, Patrick is proud as he shows everyone an article in a medical magazine which features his son Anthony. However, he is later left furious when he discovers that a drunken Stan and Cora have defaced the picture of Anthony. Later, still seething over the situation while home alone, Patrick experiences terrible pains and after clutching his arm, he falls to the floor…
Elsewhere, Billy and Lola are left in the dark when the power goes off at their flat. Billy is forced to explain that he's been stealing electricity from Aleks's flat as he is struggling financially, but he promises Lola that he will sort it out.
Tuesday
As Linda's birthday party takes place at The Vic, Johnny introduces his new love interest Gianluca to the rest of the family. Although it's initially awkward, Linda tries to be happy for her son. With the new romance going well, Johnny sneaks upstairs with Gianluca and they sleep together.
Later, Linda's family treat her to another surprise in front of the packed pub. Linda starts to feel increasingly sentimental about having all of her kids around, and she soon leaves Mick stunned by revealing that she wants another baby.
Meanwhile, Dean clashes with Shirley again, accusing her of bringing George back to Walford so that she can prove herself as a responsible mum. Shirley is left hurt when Dean says that she never was and never will be, so she retreats to Patrick's.
Elsewhere, when Tina catches Billy at their flat, she realises that he has been stealing their electricity. Tina is appeased when Billy promises to pay everything he owes back, but when Tosh finds out, she isn't so forgiving.
Also today, Patrick is in shock following his health scare but doesn't tell anybody what happened. Putting on a brave face, he tries to carry on as normal by performing karaoke at The Vic.
Thursday
Linda and Mick clearly have lots to discuss after Linda's news that she wants another baby - do they want the same thing? At the same time, Dean and Lee bond over a nightcap downstairs at the pub as they discuss their experiences of growing up as a Carter.
Later, Mick follows Linda as she heads downstairs and he makes a surprising romantic gesture to apologise for their disagreement. The couple soon kiss and make up, but as they reminisce over their childhood, Dean is still downstairs and can hear every word. This leads to Dean discovering a huge family secret. Once Mick goes back upstairs, Linda spots Dean and swears him to secrecy. Can Linda trust Dean?
Soon afterwards, as the night draws to a close and Mick prepares for bed, he overhears Lee drunkenly mumbling about how he did something stupid connected to Lucy Beale…
Meanwhile, Johnny is in a downbeat mood as he returns from saying goodbye to Gianluca at the station.
Elsewhere, Shirley has a heart-to-heart with Patrick over Dean. Patrick urges Shirley not to give up, but when she heads back to The Vic, she tells Dean that she will walk away and won't be his mum anymore if that's what he really wants. How will Dean react?
Friday
Mick and Linda are worried when Lee is nowhere to be found following last night's revelation. When Lee finally returns to The Vic, he tells his family the truth about what he knows regarding the night of Lucy's murder. Lee's words shock the Carters…
Meanwhile, Lauren visits Max in the hope of mending their relationship. When she arrives at the car lot to speak to Max, he is inside with Emma. Will Lauren catch them together?
Elsewhere, Billy's fortunes improve when Les gives him a job at Coker & Sons, even though his trial shift was less than impressive. Unfortunately, Lola doesn't have as much luck when she applies for a job at Blades.
Also today, a date has been set for Lucy's murder trial. When Tina and Tosh visit Jake in prison, they're shocked to see the state that he is in.

New EastEnders pictures have been released showing DC Emma Summerhayes in a panic as her fling with Max Branning is in danger of being exposed.
The awkward moment takes place at the car lot in tonight's episode (July 11) as Max's daughter Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) decides to pay him a visit.
Lauren is reaching out to her father as she wants to repair their troubled relationship, but her timing couldn't be worse as Max (Jake Wood) is busy romancing Emma.
Thinking quickly, Emma (Anna Acton) hides herself away underneath Max's desk to avoid being spotted by Lauren.
Max also tries his best to fix the situation by telling Lauren that he's too busy to talk to her, but will she be put off so easily?

EastEnders has revealed that Mick and Linda Carter have never been married.
The surprising information was disclosed on screen in Thursday night's episode (July 10) as the Walford couple had an emotional heart-to-heart at the Queen Vic.
The pair had been left with lots to discuss after Linda admitted that she wanted another baby - a desire that Mick didn't share.
As they discussed their differences downstairs at the pub, Mick (Danny Dyer) surprised Linda (Kellie Bright) by proposing to her, wanting to make things official at last. However, Linda rejected the idea, insisting that things should stay as they are for the time being.
Trouble could now lie ahead for the Carters as the revealing conversation was overheard by Dean Wicks, who has been developing an infatuation with his 'aunt' Linda.
Linda swore Dean to secrecy after realising that he had heard everything, confirming that she doesn't want her children to know the truth.
While a drunken Dean promised to stay quiet, it remains to be seen whether he will respect her wishes in future episodes.

EastEnders bosses have released the first pictures of Kat and Alfie Moon with their newborn baby sons.
Kat (Jessie Wallace) gives birth at the end of next week after going into labour while she is at the hospital with Jean Slater.

When Jean (Gillian Wright) collapses in Kat's kitchen during a visit to Albert Square, she is rushed off for emergency medical attention.
Jean's jailed daughter Stacey (Lacey Turner) is also permitted to briefly visit the hospital once she hears what has happened.
Realising that her family need her, Stacey starts to wonder whether she should proceed with an idea that Jean has come up with to get her out of prison. However, everything is put on hold when Kat's waters suddenly break!
