Donna leaves the Christening she's arranged for April and herself when she hears the robbery's gone wrong and realises what Ross is capable of when she sees the jewellery store owner whose in a bad way.

Zak and Lisa’s troubles aren’t over yet as Sam's in court for aiding Belle's escape.

Andy and Bernice reach an agreement as Bernice wants to know how serious Andy is about their relationship.

Jai's suspicious of Rishi's odd behaviour.

6896 Tuesday 17 June 7.30pm – 8pm

Donna battles with her guilt as she finds out the man Ross battered may never recover (her own dad having died in a burglary) and she decides to flee the village with April. (star jumps with joy )

Megan discovers that Jai's factory accounts are in a mess...

Leyla searches for a home for her money.

James makes a big commitment to Chas.

Marlon has some questions for Robbie.

Coming up on Emmerdale, Donna Windsor starts to regret her new life of crime when bad boy Ross Barton takes things way too far.

Upcoming episodes see Donna (Verity Rushworth) tip Ross off about a jewellers which would be an easy target for a raid.

Ross (Michael Parr) follows this lead alone on the day that Donna and April are both being christened in the local church, but the robbery attempt goes terribly wrong when the owner George confronts him with a baseball bat.

Soon afterwards, while the christening is under way in the village, Donna is distracted by a number of frantic texts from Ross. In the end, she makes her excuses to leave the church so that she can meet up with her partner in crime.

Donna is horrified when Ross tells her what has happened, but when she checks out the scene for herself, she is disgusted to see that he has seriously hurt George.

Once George is rushed to hospital and the police get involved, Donna gets the inside track on the situation and learns that George may never wake up as a result of his injuries.

Realising that she could be in deep trouble if her involvement comes to light, Donna urges April to pack her bags as they're leaving the village again.

As Donna later tries to say some surreptitious goodbyes, an alarmed Ross overhears and cottons on. Will he stop her from fleeing?

Monday

At the christening, Donna is distracted by her phone beeping with yet another text from Ross. Alarmed by the series of messages, she decides to head off to meet Ross. Donna makes her excuses by claiming that she has been called into work.

On seeing Ross's bruised face, Donna's worries are heightened and she is panicked to then realise that Ross has hurt George. An anxious Donna tells Ross to keep his head down while she finds out how much damage they've done. Donna goes to the crime scene under the pretence of being on a shopping trip and is horrified to see what Ross has done...

Meanwhile, Sean confides in Dan about Sam being in court, and Dan persuades him that Lisa and Zak should know. Lisa and Zak are alarmed by the news and set off to confront Sam. Zak is determined to go to court with Sam and he reassures Lisa they'll get through it together. What will Sam's sentence be? Can the Dingles take any more grief?

Elsewhere, a nervous Andy tries to grovel to Bernice and there's a sense that she is warming slightly. As the pair flirt, Bernice lays it in on the line - they either do this properly as boyfriend and girlfriend or not at all. How will Andy respond?

Also today, Moira is pleased that James and Cain seem to be getting along.

Finally, Jai is suspicious when he takes a call from Uncle Amit and Rishi is quick to change the subject. Jai is worried when a payment has not been made at the factory and transfers it from his personal account.



Tuesday

Donna tells Ross that she is going to the hospital to find out about George. Ross advises her to stay calm and act normal, but it's clear that he is as worried as she is. At the hospital, Donna is shocked when she discovers that George might not regain consciousness.

Later, Donna struggles with her guilt when George's wife Beatrice tells her that they need to catch whoever did this. Back home, Donna ushers April to pack, determined to flee the situation. However, as Donna tries to say some surreptitious goodbyes, an alarmed Ross overhears and cottons on. Will he stop her in her tracks?

Meanwhile, Leyla is shocked to see her bank statement and thinks her card has been cloned. At the same time, over at the factory, Jai doesn't want Megan interfering with the accounts but she slips a file into her bag as she goes for lunch. Megan is concerned by what she sees and Jai is irked when she tells him that she knows how much trouble he's in. Leyla overhears their argument. After speaking to Alicia, Leyla decides she needs to invest her money, but where will she look to invest?

Elsewhere, James agrees to move in with Chas permanently.

Also today, Marlon finds Robbie washing in The Woolpack, but he is evasive about where he is staying.


Friday

An increasingly concerned Marlon questions Bob about Donna's whereabouts. At the same time, a worried Ross is desperate to get an update on George. He begs Finn to go to the hospital to find out about a guy who has been in a fight, lying that he is asking on behalf of a mate. However, when Finn is reluctant, Ross is forced to admit that it was him who beat the guy up.

Pete is adamant that it's Ross's problem but Finn can see Ross's desperation so relents. Later, Finn and Pete find themselves at the hospital, but what will they discover? Will their presence arouse suspicion?

Meanwhile, Megan berates Leyla for mouthing off about Jai's financial problems. Jai is frustrated that Megan is doing the dirty work for him and warns her to stop taking over at the factory. Jai later apologises and is caught off guard when Megan has a business proposition for him.

Elsewhere, James moves into The Woolpack and Chas is bemused by all of his belongings.

Also today, Kerry is chuffed when she and Dan set a date for their wedding.

Finally, Bernice seems fed up when Andy opts for a night with the lads instead of with her, while Robbie realises Brook Cottage is free and swipes the keys.
