After Max's revelation, Abi asks her dad if there is anything else she needs to know.

Meanwhile, Sonia's evening takes an unexpected turn when she finds herself giving Tina relationship advice.

Elsewhere, Sharon attempts to put Phil first, but will she succeed?


Thursday

After receiving more information, the police return to Walford to clarify a couple of statements.

Meanwhile, suspicious of Aleks's behaviour, Roxy plays detective but is shocked by what she discovers.

Elsewhere, Tina and Tosh are faced with the reality of parenthood when they babysit Amy.


Friday

An angry Roxy is on the warpath, but will she be able to forgive?

Meanwhile, Lauren takes charge of a risky situation, but will she get the answers she is looking for?

EastEnders kicks off Max Branning's new romance storyline later this month as he grows close to DC Summerhayes.

Max (Jake Wood) strikes up a bond with Summerhayes after some new twists in the Lucy Beale murder investigation lead to her spending more time on Albert Square.

Upcoming episodes see the detectives who are investigating Lucy's murder return to the Branning house, wanting to clarify Max and Abi's statements after receiving some important new information.

Summerhayes (Anna Acton) initially deals with Max in a professional capacity, but sparks later fly as she has a heart-to-heart with him.

Monday

When Abi discovers that Lauren and Peter are trying to find the mystery cab driver who is connected to the Lucy case, she decides to tell Cora what they are up to. Cora is quick to warn Peter that it is dangerous for him and Lauren to get involved in the investigation. This is enough to put Peter off, but Lauren still heads off alone and Peter is unable to get hold of her.

Later, Peter goes to Max for help. They are relieved when Lauren returns but the Brannings still have a heated argument in full view of the pub. Cora then takes her family back to her flat, where Max makes a shocking revelation…

Meanwhile, Tosh lies to Sonia by claiming that Tina has told her about the kiss. Sonia tries to justify her actions, but then Tina walks into the awkward conversation. Once Tosh has gone, Sonia tells Tina that she knows about the kiss. Tina rushes away and is faced with an angry Tosh back at the flat.

Elsewhere, Aleks buys Roxy a necklace and the pair agree to make their relationship official.

Also today, the tension between Phil and Sharon mounts when she is preoccupied with The Albert.

Finally, Aleks agrees to let Bianca sell dodgy fake tan on her stall if she gives him a cut of the profits and some cash up front.


Tuesday

Lauren, Abi and Cora are shocked by what Max has said. Lauren threatens to go to the police, but Abi and Cora point out that Max will look guilty if he changes his statement.

Later, Abi pays a visit to Max. She offers her support, but asks whether there is anything else that he needs to come clean about…

Meanwhile, Lauren receives a call that could give her some clues about what happened on the night Lucy died.

Elsewhere, Martin fails to show up for his anniversary dinner with Sonia. As a result, Sonia is left facing an awkward encounter with Tina and Tosh at the restaurant. When Tosh storms off, Tina invites Sonia on a night out. However, with Sonia's encouragement, Tina heads home and makes peace with Tosh before it's too late.

Also today, Sharon tries to make amends with Phil by cooking him dinner, but has to cut the evening short to check on The Albert. Later, Sharon returns to an empty house.

Finally, when Aleks takes Roxy out for dinner, it becomes clear that she has used some of Bianca's dodgy fake tan.


Thursday

As Ian and Peter put on a brave face for Jake's plea hearing, Max and Abi receive a surprising visit from the police, who want to clarify their statements.

Later, Summerhayes tells the Beales that someone has made a statement confirming that Jake was seen with Lucy on the night she died. Peter heads to tell Lauren the latest development.

Meanwhile, as Tosh and Tina babysit Amy for Roxy, it becomes clear that they have different attitudes towards parenting. Later, Roxy and Aleks's romantic evening is interrupted and they race over to the house, where they find an unwell Amy and apologetic Tina and Tosh. When Aleks makes his excuses and leaves, Roxy follows him and catches Ronnie thrusting a wad of cash back into his hands.

Elsewhere, Johnny impresses Sharon with a business idea, while Phil decides it's time he got more involved in the bar.


Friday

Roxy tries to get answers from Ronnie about what she saw last night, but Ronnie doesn't give anything away. Soon afterwards, Aleks finds Roxy snooping through his bedroom as she searches for clues. Will Aleks reveal the truth?

Meanwhile, Peter and Lauren get involved in the investigation once again as they visit the cab driver who has come forward. Lauren fires questions at the driver, but what did he see?

Elsewhere, as Denise returns from holiday, Ian is struggling after finding an old Father's Day card from Lucy.

Also today, Phil goes against Sharon's wishes by arranging security at The Albert for her upcoming cocktail-making event.

Finally, Tina tells Shirley about her plans to start a family with Tosh, but Shirley questions why she is at The Vic and not with Tosh. At the same time, Tosh confesses to Roxy how much Tina means to her.
