Coronation Street fans will see Tina McIntyre's mother Anna make a return visit to Weatherfield in the aftermath of the barmaid's tragic death.
The role of Anna has been recast as actress Lorraine Hodgson is now playing the part.

Hodgson confirmed her casting on her Twitter page this morning (April 25) but did not reveal further details.
While viewers will have to wait and see how the storyline plays out, the Daily Star reports that Anna will return seeking answers over the untimely demise of her daughter.
Anna previously appeared on screen in May 2008 with Susan Mitchell in the role. She was seen rowing with Gail McIntyre after Tina decided to move in with the Platt family.
Michelle Keegan filmed her final scenes as Tina last week after six years in the role.
Her exit storyline will see the popular character killed off, but show chiefs are keeping tight-lipped over who will be responsible.

Upon her arrival, Anna bumps into Rita and Dennis who are happy to listen as she talks at length about Tina.
However, when Rob turns up and sees Anna, he introduces himself and offers to help in any way he can...

Why didn't she come sooner, surely she was contacted as Tina's next of kin
Hopefully that will be explained - she might have been away on holiday or working away from home and not got the news about Tina. Also though, who would have her contact details? Tina never mentioned her mum, don't think she ever visited her as they did not get on after her parents divorced ....

Coronation Street actress Lorraine Hodgson has revealed that her character Ann doesn't suspect Rob Donovan as her daughter's killer.
Ann turned up in Weatherfield on Wednesday night (June 11) following the shock death of Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) earlier this month.
Viewers know that it was Rob Donovan who murdered Tina, but the residents of the street are currently unaware of this as the police continue with their investigation.
Speaking to the Blackpool Gazette, Hodgson said: "Ann comes in to sort out the funeral arrangements and Rita takes her under her wing. It all kicks off at the funeral, but I can't say too much.
"Ann doesn't suspect Rob at all, she knows that things have gone on, but she's not sure about what."
Hodgson also discussed Ann's regrets over her own relationship with Tina, adding that they hadn't been in touch before her death.

She said: "Ann had drifted apart from Tina, she feels guilty for not being there and for not making an effort with her and now it is too late. She is really upset, down and grieving.
"She's a single mum, from out of town who is told of Tina's death and feels guilty about the lack of effort she had put in with her daughter. Ann has a soft, vulnerable side, but she is quite hard underneath too, someone not to be messed with."
Hodgson joined the soap for a three-week stint playing Anna but has admitted that she would love the role to be extended.
She added: "I really enjoyed working on Coronation Street, it was great to work with everyone. They made me feel so welcome and overall it was a great experience. I enjoyed every minute of it and would love to go back."

her number would have been in Tina's phone surely?? first thing the police would have checked in establishing identity?

As long as she isn't put in an relationship or affair with Rob, so far not impressed with the character at all
