Yeah, I'm watching it and loving every minute. It's truly enthralling viewing, so well-written and acted. I just love Rust's outlook on life - he's a truly fascinating and unique character.

As Lizann says, season 1 is worth watching but it's very different a classic police procedural. It jumps back and fore in time a quite a bit, and the characters are pretty unique - especially Matthew McConaughey's Rust Cohle. I really loved it as it was very different to anything else on TV. It won't be everyone's cup of tea though. If you enjoy obsessive, nihilistic characters, you'll love Rust Cohle. It's the characters that make it worth watching.

Season 2 is very different. I'm watching it at the moment but finding it a bit boring. It feels very different to season 1 and is more of a linear police procedural (though it does concentrate heavily on characterisation). Colin Farrell gives a stand-out performance though.
