Over on Hollyoaks, fans can expect more twists and turns in John Paul McQueen's dark storyline as he prepares to face the consequences of his violent attack on Robbie Roscoe.

After lashing out at Robbie in class and losing his job, John Paul (James Sutton) isn't feeling optimistic over his future as he awaits his first court appearance for a plea hearing.

John Paul still has loyal support from Nana McQueen and his ex-lover Danny Lomax, who urge him to plead mitigating circumstances after the homophobic bullying campaign against him.

Although John Paul considers it, he backs down and fails to defend himself in court following another frightening encounter with his rapist Finn O'Connor (Keith Rice).

John Paul is bailed until sentencing later in the week, but knows that he'll be heading to jail, so he decides to bid a passionate farewell to Danny (Stephen Billington) before he is locked away.

What John Paul and Danny don't realise is that Peri (Ruby O'Donnell) has set up a hidden camera at the Lomax house, convinced that the place is haunted after finding out about Lynsey Nolan's murder.

Snooping on the camera footage from Tom's bedroom, Peri is horrified to spot Danny and John Paul kissing…

Meanwhile, as John Paul's future is looking more bleak than ever, Robbie starts to feel increasingly guilty and decides to do the right thing.

Robbie (Charlie Wernham) makes a new written statement in support of John Paul and hands it over to Sam Lomax on the day that JP is due back in court. Finn is fearful as he watches on, but is there anything he can do about it?

Monday

Fraser's enemy Ray McCormick is back in the village and he cons Ste into handing over Trevor's dodgy wine shipment. Ste instantly knows that he's done the wrong thing when he speaks to Trevor. Trevor then meets up with Ray, who tells him that he wants in on the business, but Trevor is having none of it.

Later, Ray and his heavies find Grace at Clare's grave. Soon afterwards, Trevor is terrified when he sees a beaten-up Grace, who is face down at the cemetery.

Meanwhile, Alex Browning is determined to uncover the truth about his father's death. Is the girls' darkest secret about to be revealed?

Elsewhere, Jason and Holly desperately try to get hold of the morning after pill after Jason's condom broke last night. They bump into Lindsey at the hospital and have to lie that they are there to see Hilton. Scared that they'll bump into someone else they know, the teens decide to buy the pill, but without any money they're fast running out of time. In the end, Holly decides to steal money from Dirk's new Emporium.

Also today, Maxine is shocked when she sees Sienna holding a pair of scissors as she stands behind Peri in College Coffee. Sienna tells her that she wanted to get a strand of Peri's hair for a DNA test. Maxine makes her promise to forget about Peri and Sienna agrees, for now…

Tuesday

Dirk attempts to take the rap for Doctor Browning's murder, but as Sam doesn't believe a word he's saying, it seems that he has made matters a whole lot worse. Horrified by what has happened, Cindy decides to hand herself in and she approaches Sam with the truth.

Meanwhile, will Holly discover the truth about her mum?

Elsewhere, with yesterday's events weighing heavy on his mind, Trevor is more determined than ever to bid farewell to his violent lifestyle. However, Fraser won't listen and tells Trevor to get revenge on Ray.

Also today, Danny goes to see John Paul before his plea hearing for beating up Robbie. At school, Danny finds text books with homophobic graffiti on them and is saddened that John Paul won't defend himself. Danny shows the books to Nana McQueen and begs her to convince John Paul to plead mitigating circumstances. Will this be enough to change John Paul's plea?

Wednesday

Cindy braces herself for some tough questioning at the station.

Meanwhile, John Paul bumps into Danny in the court toilets. Danny gives his friend some words of encouragement, leaving John Paul buoyed - until Finn emerges from a cubicle and immediately sends his teacher crashing back down to earth. When the judge asks if John Paul will be submitting any mitigating circumstances, he says no and is bailed until sentencing at the end of the week.

Elsewhere, Trevor becomes the owner of the florist, but feels emasculated when Ray laughs at his new business venture. It takes all of Trevor's restraint not to punch Ray in the face. Later, Ray pays Fraser a visit and threatens to hurt the Roscoes if he doesn't let him in on the business. Fraser returns home to find the Roscoes have been robbed and he knows this is a message from Ray. Fraser goes to Trevor and lies that Ray was the one who killed his father and now he needs to get revenge.

Thursday

Trevor is on a mission as he packs a bag with his gun and some rope. When he drives Ray to the middle of nowhere, will it be game over Fraser's enemy?

Meanwhile, Danny and John Paul decide to bid a passionate farewell to one another. At the same time, Peri is frightened that her house is haunted when she finds out about Lynsey Nolan's murder. Tom helps her set up a hidden camera so they can catch the ghost, but as she watches from Tom's bedroom, she's horrified by what she sees - Danny and John Paul kissing.

Elsewhere, Robbie feels increasingly guilty about John Paul and is terrified about court tomorrow. He tells Finn that he's going to do the right thing.

Friday

It's the day of John Paul's sentencing. Finn watches on as Robbie gives Sam a blue envelope containing his changed statement. What will happen when Finn later knocks on Sam's door?

Over at the McQueens', John Paul wakes up to graffiti outside the front door. Mercedes comes up with an elaborate plan to save her brother from prison when she tells everyone that they're moving to Alicante and they're doing it now. Will John Paul agree?

Meanwhile, Patrick looks for John Paul's teaching replacement and is intrigued when Nancy lets slip that she used to teach. Nancy swears that she will never work for him, but has she been left with food for thought?

Elsewhere, as Trevor seeks the ultimate revenge, is he fighting a losing battle?
