Wow, really? There always was that underlying question of Jimmy actually fathering Eliot. I mean, there was no DNA done or anything when Kelly returned with him, was there? I don't actually see her as the mothering type anyway.

Coming up on Emmerdale, the extent of Priya Sharma's problems is finally revealed to her loved ones as her health takes another turn for the worse.

Viewers know that pregnant Priya (Fiona Wade) hasn't been eating properly in recent weeks, but she has mostly managed to hide her problem from those closest to her.

When a concerned Jai (Chris Bisson) takes Priya out for lunch at the café, he is horrified as she suddenly feels woozy and collapses.

Priya hits her stomach hard on a table as she falls and she has to be rushed to hospital for emergency medical attention.

The news quickly travels back to the baby's father David Metcalfe, as well as the rest of the Sharma family. Will Priya and her unborn child be okay?

Monday


Lisa feels guilty about keeping Zak in the dark, especially as he is aware that she is hiding something from him. At the same time, Sean finds Belle drinking at Gemma's shrine and is concerned by her behaviour.

Later, Zak urges Cain to tell him what is really going on, but Cain is distracted when he clocks Belle and Sean in the distance. Will a tipsy Belle tell Sean the truth about Gemma, or will Cain get to her in the nick of time?

Meanwhile, Priya reluctantly agrees to meet Jai for lunch. Later at the café, she appears woozy. Jai arrives as Priya starts to wobble and she collapses, hitting her stomach hard on a table. The news quickly travels back to David, who is alarmed and distressed. Will the true extent of Priya's problems finally be revealed? And could her actions have serious consequences for her or the unborn baby?

Elsewhere, Alicia eyes Leyla with suspicion when she notes Leyla's urgency to speak to Jacob. She agrees to let Leyla see him, keen to find out what she is going to say. Later, Alicia overhears Leyla and Jacob talking and is seething to find out the truth about the missing money. Alicia fumes at her sister. Will Leyla be able to worm her way out of this?

Also today, Seb turns up and confides in Ruby about his insecurities over becoming a father.


Tuesday

David is stunned to learn that Alicia already knew about Priya's eating disorder. At the same time, Jai braces himself to tell Georgia and Rishi the truth about their daughter. Over at the hospital, Priya looks at her drip with disgust and attempts to pull it out. How will she react when she realises that her secret is out?

Later, everyone argues and attempts to place the blame for Priya's condition. With worry stretching to the baby too, will David direct his upset at Alicia for having kept him in the dark for so long?

Meanwhile, Lisa urges Zak not to be harsh to a hungover Belle. After assuring Zak that she's fine, Belle fumes at Lisa for her persistent lying. It's clear that the pressure of keeping Belle quiet is getting to Lisa. Cain also fills Chas in on the latest line they are spinning to Zak. Later, Cain is intrigued as Dom suggests moving away. Could Dom moving help to alleviate the guilt that Belle is carrying?

Elsewhere, an unimpressed Megan looks over a contract that Declan has had drawn up, giving Charity a third of the business. Charity arrives ready to sign, but Megan is keen to take her time. Charity's decree nisi has also arrived and she is at a loss over what to do about Jai. Declan suggests that she uses the money they got from Mark and he'll stump up the rest to get the best divorce lawyer around, determined to wipe the floor with Jai. But with Megan's growing friendship with Jai, what would she make of Declan and Charity's efforts if she were to learn of their plans?

Also today, Paddy dismisses Victoria's offer of making Marlon a cake, but soon comes crawling back.

Finally, James returns from his travels. Will he and Chas pick up where they left off?


Wednesday

A tired and dishevelled David is frustrated when he tries to talk to Priya's doctor. He is unable to find out much about her condition, but is gutted to realise that he could have been a trigger. At the same time, the Sharmas flock around Priya, but it's overwhelming for her.

Later, David approaches Priya when she is en route to the psychotherapist. He admits to seeing her doctor and profusely apologises for all that he has done and the damage he has caused. With Priya heading off without him, is she set on shutting him out for good?

At the same time, the guilt does not start and stop with David. Georgia, Rishi, Jai and Leyla worry they have not been there in the way that Priya needed, while breaking David's trust weighs all too heavily on Alicia's shoulders.

Meanwhile, as Paddy makes plans for Marlon's 40th party, Bob answers a surprising phone call. He hangs up and covers that it was the bread man. Later, as Bob edgily waits for someone, a car pulls up and out steps Donna with a young girl called April. As Donna avoids Bob's questions about her visit, she tells him that it could be permanent. There's a sense she is holding back about something, but what? How will Marlon react to know Donna is back in the village and potentially for good?

Elsewhere, as Megan informs Jai of Charity's plan to play the poverty card during divorce proceedings, it seems Megan could be just the person needed to prove just how far from the truth that is. Not long after, Megan happily shows Jai a copy of the Home Farm contract, one that if signed would undoubtedly make Charity a rich lady. Could Megan prove to be Jai's secret weapon, and how far would she be prepared to go to stitch up Charity?

Also today, Cain tries to entice Dom into leaving the village for a better job, but later Lisa is disappointed when it seems that Zak has talked him out of it. Belle is guilt-ridden as Lisa continues to worry about her.

Finally, Moira realises that Chas and James spent the night together, but is unconvinced when Chas suggests a double date.


Thursday

Much to Marlon's relief, Donna assures him that she does not want him back - but is this relief set to be short-lived? Soon Marlon struggles to absorb Donna's news and seems to be hurt and confused.

Later at his party, Marlon gets increasingly drunk and things soon go from bad to worse.

Meanwhile, Charity fumes at Jai for getting hold of the contract, but Megan has got a final blow to strike her with. Later, Declan warns Megan against pulling another stunt like that.

Elsewhere, when Dom arrives at the pub, Lisa is thrown to see how close he and Belle are. In Lisa's eyes, Belle is a pressure cooker ready to explode.

Also, Alicia is shocked when David arrives back after being dismissed by the Sharmas and they reconcile. At the same time, Priya is sick again, clearly still struggling with her eating disorder.


Friday

A hungover Marlon remains adamant that he wants nothing to do with Donna or his daughter April, despite Laurel's efforts to change his mind.

Laurel, Paddy and Rhona go with Donna to persuade him to be part of his daughter's life, angering Marlon further. When his ex-wife tries to get through to him on her own, Marlon tells her to pack her bags and leave the village for good.

Meanwhile, Megan is unimpressed when Declan suggests Charity should put the business into administration so that Rishi gets nothing. She's torn as Declan asks for her loyalty. Charity puts her and Declan's plan into action, making Nicola aware that Rishi wants his investment back. Nicola worries to Jimmy about Rishi taking his investment. She sees Megan is hiding something but Jimmy assures her that she shouldn't worry.

Elsewhere, Debbie's past with Cameron continues to interfere with her relationship with Pete after he witnesses her having a nightmare. When he suggests she gets help, Debbie immediately turns defensive and tells him to leave, but has she pushed him too far this time? Later, when Pete fails to explain where he has been and who with, Adam wrongly suggests to Moira that Pete may be dealing again.

Also today, Ruby and Ali are hopeful as they head to a meeting with the bank about a loan.

Finally, Priya continues to fool Rishi and Leyla that she is getting better.

Emmerdale's Marlon Dingle is shocked to see his ex-wife Donna Windsor back in the village in tonight's double bill (March 20).

Marlon (Mark Charnock) is celebrating his 40th birthday when he discovers that Donna has returned with a young daughter, April.

Although Marlon tries to forget about Donna (Verity Rushworth) and concentrate on his big day, he is clearly unsettled by her reappearance and later seeks her out, wanting to know what her intentions are.

Marlon is pleased when Donna promises that she isn't back to make a claim on him, but his relief is short-lived when she adds that April is his child…
