Monday

Eric can't deny that he finds Val having HIV hard to accept, and Val is wounded when he refuses to show her any physical attention.

Later, a hurt Val lays into Diane, but is struck when Diane tells her that Eric still loves her - he just needs time. Is Val prepared to wait for him?

Meanwhile, Belle is thrown when a determined Lisa tells her that they're going away, despite Belle being adamant that she doesn't want to miss Gemma's funeral. Zak is torn but supports Lisa, unaware of the full story she is keeping from him. What will Sean make of Belle's unexpected trip away?

Elsewhere, Debbie is conflicted about her feelings towards Pete, but seems ready to give him the benefit of the doubt when she turns up at Butlers farm. However, when Pete questions her mixed signals, it's not long before an embarrassed Debbie changes her mind and heads off. Later, it's Pete's turn to knock on Debbie's door - will this meeting have a happier ending?

Also today, Finn is on edge as he senses that Charity knows he has a crush on Declan, while Declan wonders if it is something they can take advantage of.

Finally, Paddy is panicked to learn that the pigs are being sent to the abattoir.


Tuesday

With Eric and Val walking on eggshells around each other, Eric confides in Diane. As he opens up to her, he finds strength and soon becomes resolute that he won't let Val's HIV status ruin their marriage.

With a new sense of purpose, Eric sets about wooing Val. Val is wary when he suggests they go upstairs, not wanting to rush him. Eric assures her that he is ready, but is he? And would Val be able to handle the feeling of rejection again?

Meanwhile, Pete and Debbie continue to keep their dalliances a secret and agree to meet again. Later, Ross is surprised when an upbeat Debbie fails to hold a grudge about his behaviour at the garage and is encouraged when she agrees to have a drink with him in the pub. At The Woolpack, Ross is suspicious when Debbie heads off under the premise of having other plans and similarly Pete is reluctant to stay, suggesting he has stuff to do.

Elsewhere, the Dingles remain confused as to why Lisa has taken Belle away.

Also today, Dom struggles with his grief and 'what ifs' as Zak does his best to offer him support.

Finally, Marlon and Paddy hatch a plan to get the pigs back from the abattoir. Will the pair succeed?

Wednesday

Ross is intent on impressing Debbie, but is later cross to note the obvious sexual tension between Debbie and Pete. Ross confronts Pete and is surprised to learn that Pete is Debbie's Barton boy of choice.

Seething, Ross finds himself taking his anger out at the garage on Ashley's car, leaving Debbie fuming. She demands he foots the bill for the damage caused, but it's not long before Ross has cooked up a plan to ensure that he is not left out of pocket - a plan that involves blackmailing his big brother…

Meanwhile, Harriet is anxious as she receives a call from Dom asking her to meet him. When she arrives, she is taken aback by his apology and finds herself offering to help arrange Gemma's funeral for the very next day, but will she be able to turn it around so quickly?

Later, after the news of Gemma's immediate funeral, Belle goes missing, sending Lisa into a panic. Dom and Zak try to comfort Lisa, who worries that Belle may have done something stupid. Cain becomes suspicious and thinks there may be more to this than Lisa is letting on.

Elsewhere, admitting defeat with their relationship, Eric and Val meet to discuss their break-up. Diane arrives mid-conversation and tries to convince the pair that they are making a mistake, but with Eric and Val being adamant it's the right thing, will Diane be able to persuade them otherwise?

Also today, with Gabby in Marlon's care, she helps him look after the rescued pigs, prompting her to become a vegetarian - much to Bernice's dismay.


Thursday

Hour-long episode


It's the day of Gemma's funeral and Belle prepares to speak. With all eyes on her, she begins to read the lyrics of Gemma's favourite song. Once finished, and overcome with guilt, Belle leaves the church. A worried Lisa goes after her, but Belle is nowhere to be found.

Later, Chas finds letters addressed to Lisa, Dom and Sean and seems instantly alarmed. On reading the letters and hearing Belle's intentions to hand herself in, Lisa is forced to confess to Chas and Cain about what Belle has done. Will they be able to stop Belle before she gets to the police?

Meanwhile, Pete is keen to come clean about his relationship with Debbie, while she remains hesitant. Cain is surprised to see Debbie at Butler's, but she quickly covers that she is there to see him and to fill him in on Ross's antics. As Debbie explains about Ashley's car and her orders that Ross pay her back, Pete realises that his brother's previous threats were serious. Will Pete succumb to his brother's demands and cough up, or will Ross revert to dodgy dealings to get the money?

Elsewhere, Ruby sets off to visit William. On arrival, she finds that William has had a fall and calls a doctor to check on him. While waiting for the doctor and Seb to arrive, she is subjected to William's racist slurs, causing her to walk out. However, Ruby is quick to return when she considers her money problems and finds herself tempted by a tin of cash she has stumbled upon, though thinks better of it. Seb arrives home and soon after Ruby finds herself opening up to him as they share a drink. No doubt Ali would have something to say about this…

Also today, concerned about Jacob being at the funeral, Leyla offers to take him back to hers. When Alicia arrives to pick him up, she finds him fast asleep and agrees that he can stay the night. She accepts her sister's offer of a bottle of wine. Jacob is pleased both are being amicable, but Leyla reminds him that Alicia must not know he lent her money, especially after sporting her new designer watch.

Finally, Marlon inadvertently prompts Gabby to declare that she now wants to be a vegan.


Friday

Zak becomes increasingly confused and suspicious of Lisa's behaviour as she monitors Belle's every move. Lisa and Cain lie about where they went yesterday after the funeral.

Later, Chas discovers Belle in her pub back room, where she makes every effort to convince Belle not to confess to what she has done. Will Chas get through to her? With the guilt weighing so heavily on Belle's mind, it's clear that she needs a release of some sort...

Meanwhile, Ruby is unhappy with Dan as yet again he has failed to deliver - her baby hopes are dashed. Dan is surprised to learn that she is going to see William again, remarking that his son Seb had better not be taking advantage of her because of their teenage fling. Later, Ruby learns that Seb has got his 'non-girlfriend' pregnant.

Elsewhere, Noah questions Jacob about the funeral and teases him about crying. Jacob retaliates by throwing Noah's phone in the trough. Priya marches them both off and fills Alicia and David in on Jacob's actions. Soon Charity is demanding money for the phone. Alicia informs him that he is to pay for the phone out of his savings. Jacob looks at Leyla panicked, aware that his savings have been used for Leyla's rent. Is it game up for the pair?

Also today, Jai is concerned about Priya going for a run but does his best to trust her when she promises that she is looking after herself.

Finally, Megan and Charity bicker about the business as Jai arrives. He enjoys Megan making digs at his ex.
