Monday
As renovation work is carried out on Sharon's new business, Phil discovers that she has signed the bar contract to make herself sole company director without his consent. The pair soon sign a new contract which will give them shared control of the bar.
At the same time, Roxy arrives back from Ibiza unexpectedly with some worrying news about Ronnie. When Ronnie returns later, she is composed despite what Roxy has told them. Ronnie announces that she has bought the gym and is planning to stay in Walford, but Sharon isn't pleased. As they argue, Sharon tells Ronnie that she knows what happened to Carl and will call the police if she doesn't leave…
Meanwhile, Carol is devastated when she learns that she does have the cancer gene, and she wonders how to break the news to the rest of the family. Carol and David stop off in a café together but when Bianca phones, David can't bring himself to tell her the truth and lets her believe that the test was negative. As Bianca and Sonia express their relief, Carol is furious over David's actions.
Elsewhere, Kat desperately tries to mend things with Alfie on his 50th birthday, but she doesn't have much success. However, Alfie isn't behaving honestly himself as he finds himself lying to Kat again.
Also today, Lucy tries to give Cindy some advice about her pregnancy, while Ian still wants to send Cindy away but she calls his bluff.
Tuesdsay
Ronnie brushes off Sharon's threats by making it clear that she doesn't care. Phil tries to keep both women happy, but Sharon won't listen and takes Dennis to stay at Ian's because she doesn't want him in Phil's house while Ronnie is there. Sharon decides to confide in Ian and even though she doesn't reveal the full story, he can sense that the situation is serious and advises Sharon to go to the police.
Later, Phil catches Ronnie hunting for the incriminating evidence against her. Roxy interrupts them and wants to know what's going on. However, they are all interrupted when Jay points out that a police car has pulled up outside…
Meanwhile, Cindy invites Liam round as she has the house to herself. When Ian makes an unexpected return, Liam makes a run for it and Ian puts two and two together. Ian heads straight off to the Butcher household where he declares that Liam has got Cindy pregnant.
Elsewhere, as Bianca and Sonia continue to feel relieved over the news, Carol and David return to the Square to tell the family the truth. However, it seems that the conversation will have to wait when Ian makes a scene over his suspicions.
Thursday
With the police outside, a trapped Ronnie confesses to Roxy that she killed Carl, leaving Roxy stunned. What will the Mitchells do?
Meanwhile, as Ian's claims cause a row at the Butcher household, it soon becomes clear that the father of Cindy's baby is TJ rather than Liam. Liam lunges for TJ and the warring boys have to be pulled apart.
Soon afterwards, a shocked Terry comes to the conclusion that David has known the truth all along. David tries to give Terry some advice based on his own experience, but Terry realises that it's all a ploy to get rid of him. Terry decides to leave the house before the tension gets any worse, and when Bianca tries to follow him, David refuses to let her leave.
Also, when Carol is unable to hold the truth in any longer, she tells Bianca and Sonia that she does have the gene - which means there's a 50% chance they will have it too.
Friday
As Carol's life-changing news sinks in, how will Bianca and Sonia take it?
Meanwhile, Bianca is forced to step in as the voice of reason when Terry and TJ argue about what to do next. After Bianca has managed to calm Terry down, he tells TJ that he'll support him with whatever decision he makes.
EastEnders' Sharon Rickman considers reporting Ronnie Mitchell to the police next week, over her involvement in Carl White's death.
After Roxy returns from Ibiza with worrying news about her sister, everyone is left shocked when a composed Ronnie turns up later and announces that she has bought the gym.
