Meanwhile, Coronation Street's Steve McDonald and Tracy Barlow come together when their daughter Amy needs help with a Victorian project she is working on for school.

Amy dupes her parents into agreeing to take her to a Victorian day at Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry to help with her research.

Getting into the spirit of things, Steve, Tracy and Amy all dress up in Victorian clothing before heading out to the event.

Later at the museum, Steve (Simon Gregson) and Tracy (Kate Ford) show Amy the steam engines, but they soon receive a surprise as their day out takes an unexpected turn…

Monday 17th (1)

Tina's passions are stirred when she sees Peter back from Paris. He suggests they make the most of their time together while Carla is away. Meeting at the bookies flat, Peter gives Tina a bracelet for her birthday and they make love.

Soon afterwards, Steve notices the lights are on in the bookies and still thinks Peter and Carla are in Paris. Michelle gives him and Lloyd the spare key to investigate, but what will he find?

Meanwhile, when the postman delivers a parcel for Roy, Fiz reckons they should open it as it might give them a clue to his whereabouts. However, when a police officer comes in wanting to talk about Roy's disappearance, will Fiz's optimism be short lived?

Elsewhere, Stella is annoyed to find that Dennis has spent another night on the sofa. He tries to make amends with Rita, but she tells him she needs some space.

Also, Todd apologises to Marcus and Maria for ruining their evening when there was clearly nothing wrong with Liam.

Finally, Amy dupes Tracy and Steve into agreeing to take her to a Victorian Day at the Museum of Science and Industry.

Monday (2)

Peter is in the shower as Lloyd and Steve apologise for bursting in, but they want to know why Tina is in the flat half dressed. Having to think quickly, Tina lies that the hot water is off in her flat.

Back in The Rovers, everyone is laughing about Tina's close encounter. Peter then turns up with his holdall pretending that he's just arrived, but how long can they keep up their lies?

Meanwhile, Fiz is in turmoil knowing that Roy's shopper was found in the canal. Fiz rips open the parcel, hoping it might hold a clue, but is saddened when it's just a part to a train set that Hayley ordered ages ago. Grabbing a photo of Roy, Fiz resolves to look for him, but it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Elsewhere, Ritchie tells a shocked Gloria and Dennis that he's been poached by an international management outfit and he's off to pastures new. Gloria is left fuming when Dennis tells Rita that he loves her and wants nothing more to do with Gloria.

Also, wanting to get Marcus on side, Todd tells him and Maria a sob story about his father.


Wednesday

As Steve, Tracy and Amy look at the steam engines, Steve is taken aback to suddenly find Roy at his side. Tracy chides Roy for disappearing, but he then vanishes into the crowd.

Later, how will Fiz react when Roy walks unannounced into the cafe?

Meanwhile, Todd dupes Marcus into going for a drink on the pretext that he needs to talk about his real father, but how will Sean react when he finds out that Todd is in love with someone else?

Elsewhere, Gloria puts on a brave face and pretends that Dennis, Ritchie and his career are no longer of any interest to her, but Stella can see that she's hurt.

Also today, Izzy tells Owen that he can trust Anna, no matter what Phelan's game is.

Finally, Owen tells Tina that her rent is overdue and suggests that she gets Steph in as a lodger.


Friday (1)

Sean lets slip to Marcus that Todd is in love with someone else. Marcus quizzes Todd in The Rovers about his long-term plans, but when he leaves, Marcus notices that Todd has left his phone.

Marcus goes to return it, but it soon becomes clear that he can't resist Todd for any longer…

Meanwhile, Gloria reckons it's time she moved on to pastures new, but when Dennis finds out that Gloria plans to leave, will he be tempted to go with her?

Elsewhere, Roy insists on opening the café as usual, but Fiz is worried that it's still all too much for him.

Also, Tina is hurt when Peter offers to help out with her rent. She makes it clear that she's not a "tart" and can't be bought out.

Friday (2)

A guilt-ridden Marcus scrambles back into his clothes and later bumps into a perplexed Eileen.

Soon afterwards, Eileen becomes suspicious when she tells Todd of her encounter with a stressed Marcus and Todd remains enigmatic. How will Marcus explain his absence to an angry Maria?

Meanwhile, Dennis is tempted when Gloria tells him to abandon Rita and join her on a tour of Europe. Showing off to her family the new sports car that she's bought for her tour, Gloria revs her engine ready to leave. Will Dennis be able to resist temptation, or will Rita be left shocked to the core?

Elsewhere, Roy unplugs the phone and plays with his train set, cutting himself off from the outside world.

Also, Valerie calls on Anna to invite she and her family to the Bistro on Monday. She refuses to take no for an answer.

Coronation Street's Dennis Tanner has to make a final decision over where his future lies in tonight's episodes (February 21).

Dennis (Philip Lowrie) is alarmed when Gloria Price announces plans to leave Weatherfield for a new life abroad, realising that he doesn't want to lose her.

Gloria (Sue Johnston) is quick to suggest that Dennis could join her on her travels and claims that he'd be better off without his wife Rita suffocating him.

Tempted by Gloria, Dennis gets into the car with her as she prepares to leave the cobbles behind. Will he go through with leaving Rita?

Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.

Coronation Street will not be investigated by Ofcom over a half-naked gay embrace it showed last week.

The ITV soap aired the kiss - between Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley) and Marcus Dent (Charlie Condou) - before the 8pm watershed. Broadcasting regulator Ofcom received over 100 complaints about the scene.

An Ofcom spokesperson said: "Ofcom can confirm that it is not investigating the scene in Coronation Street as it was not in breach of generally accepted standards.

"Our rules do not discriminate between scenes involving opposite sex and same sex couples."

The episode saw Todd finally seduce Marcus after pursuing him for weeks. The pair were seen heading into the bedroom after kissing on the sofa.

Meanwhile, Condou is to leave Coronation Street and will finish filming in early summer.
