Meanwhile, Hollyoaks teens Holly Cunningham and Jason Roscoe face a terrifying situation when they end up trapped in a fire.

The young couple are left in danger at the deli after Jason (Alfie Browne-Sykes) arranges a romantic surprise for Holly (Amanda Clapham) in the deserted building, shortly after it has been sold by Ste Hay.

In the middle of an intimate dinner, Jason and Holly smell smoke and realise that the deli is on fire.

When Ste Hay and Tony Hutchinson hear their cries for help, they call the fire brigade and Leela Lomax soon arrives on the scene with her colleagues. Will it be in time to save Holly and Jason?

Sinead O'Connor resorts to blackmail next week as she becomes desperate to save her marriage to Freddie Roscoe.

Sinead (Stephanie Davis) faces a crisis when it seems that Freddie (Charlie Clapham) is close to giving up on their relationship just a few weeks after their wedding.

The trouble begins when Lindsey Butterfield (Sophie Austin) considers leaving the village, feeling that there is no reason for her to stick around now that her fiancé Joe has disappeared.

However, when Lindsey shares her intentions with Freddie, he leaves her stunned by vowing to come with her.

The next day, it seems that Freddie is ready to put Sinead out of her misery as he tells her that they should split up.

Unfortunately, Sinead isn't prepared to let Freddie go so easily and warns that she will tell everyone Joe is dead unless he stays with her.

As Freddie reels from Sinead's shock ultimatum, there is further anguish in store when Sinead's daughter Katy has to be rushed to hospital as she's not breathing…

Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Tuesday, February 4 and Wednesday, February 5 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.

Monday

It's Freddie's birthday, so Sinead is desperate to outdo Lindsey and decides that she's going to throw a surprise party. Mercedes realises there is more to Lindsey and Freddie's relationship than meets the eye and advises her friend to leave the village.

Later, Lindsey rings Joe to tell him her decision to leave, but Sinead has his phone and texts her saying she's doing the right thing. She then destroys the phone. At home, Freddie tells Lindsey that if she's leaving, he's going with her…

Meanwhile, with nerves increasing about the grand opening of The Hutch, things go from bad to worse for Tony. Can Ste save the day?


Tuesday

Sinead is furious after yesterday's revelation. Freddie tells Sinead they should go their separate ways, but she threatens to tell the Roscoes about Joe if he splits up with her.

Meanwhile, Tony is eager to ensure that his business is given the very best start, but will anyone scupper his plans? Later, Tony bursts into the pub where Trevor and Grace are on a date and tells the bad boy exactly what he thinks of him. Surprisingly his words seem to hit a nerve with Trevor.

Elsewhere, John Paul mistakenly gives his Year 9 class a test for his Year 11 students. Peri is adamant that the exam wasn't meant for them and orders her classmates to stay until John Paul admits his error.


Wednesday

It's parents' evening and John Paul has marked all of Finn's grades down from a C to an E. However, when John Paul shows the grades to Diane, Finn later threatens John Paul to change them back.

Meanwhile, Tony is backed into a corner with Diane, but how will she react?

Elsewhere, when Trevor finds out the deli has been sold, he wonders what his next move should be. At the same time, Jason has a romantic surprise planned for Holly in the deserted deli. However, in the middle of their meal they smell smoke and are alarmed to see that the deli is on fire.


Thursday

Holly and Jason frantically try to escape the burning deli, but neither knows what to do. Ste and Tony are alerted to their screams and call the fire brigade. Leela arrives with her colleagues, but will Holly and Jason be reached in time?

Meanwhile, Finn and Robbie decide to teach John Paul another lesson. However, Robbie ends up being shocked by his friend's actions and ushers Finn away. After the day from hell, who will John Paul take his anger out on?

Elsewhere, Peri invites Tom over to the McQueens' to help her babysit Matthew. They're alarmed when the tot falls off the sofa.


Friday

Cindy is plagued with constant reminders of Doctor Browning and shouts at Holly when she notices that the freezer door has been left open, but Holly tells her mum it wasn't her. Mercedes and Lindsey are concerned that Holly knows more than she's letting on.

Later in Price Slice, it all gets too much for Cindy and she faints…

Meanwhile, it's the grand opening of Tony's new restaurant, but Ste's deal with the devil casts a shadow over the celebrations.

Elsewhere, when John Paul admits to his outburst last night, how will Sam react?

Also today, Dennis makes a business proposition.

Finally, Ruby is paranoid when Ziggy tells her that he's hiring a PA. She walks in on him getting dressed as one sexy candidate leaves the garage and can't help but be worried.
