EastEnders and Emmerdale will have their first schedule clash of 2014 towards the end of the month.
Emmerdale is airing an hour-long episode at 7pm on Tuesday, January 28 to make up for the loss of its Wednesday night edition on January 22.
EastEnders will be airing on BBC One at its usual time of 7.30pm that night, meaning that there'll be a 30-minute clash period for the rival shows.
As previously reported, Emmerdale doesn't air on Wednesday next week due to Coronation Street taking its place in the 7pm slot and the National Television Awards following at 7.30pm.
