Is Charity with Declan now?

I dont think so, but she knows and prevents him killing himself in the fire, and I think she sees an opportunity to get revenge on Sam and Rachel when Sam is in the frame for starting the home farm fire?

Monday

Megan is still in a coma. Declan sits at her bedside tormented by guilt, while Charity goes to see Sam and Rachel to find out what he said to the police. Charity knows Sam is hiding something that could work in her and Declan's favour. What lengths will Charity go to get Rachel and the baby out of Jai's life?

At the same time, Robbie is determined to get a confession from Declan. Soon the police are questioning Declan, who begins to flounder…

Meanwhile, Moira declines a night away and then tries to figure out why Cain is so desperate to take her away - he is showing his softer romantic side. Cain tells her he has lined something up and Moira starts to wonder.

Elsewhere, Kerry is looking for ways to cheer Brenda up, but Bob is not convinced that her Diva party will do the trick. With the party plans well under way, it soon becomes clear she has competition in the form of a Woolpack Gangsters and Molls party.

Also today, Pete tries his luck with downbeat Priya, but gets a shock when Kerry lets the cat out the bag about her pregnancy.

Tuesday

Declan is galvanised by Charity's determination to be strong, but soon tells the police about the other CCTV system.

The police look at the CCTV footage and when they see Sam Dingle returning to Home Farm, they're instantly suspicious…

Meanwhile, as cocky Cain tells James that he's taking Moira away for the night, she gets ready full of anticipation, thinking that he's going to propose to her. Moira tries to hide her disappointment when she realises he is taking her to the B&B, but is blown away when she sees it has been transformed for their night. Cain tells her that he wants it to be the best New Years Eve, but will it be?

Elsewhere, Bob and Kerry are determined to give Brenda a good night. At Dale Head fancy dress takes centre stage, but Kerry has a wardrobe malfunction. Later, Kerry manages to cheer up Brenda, who is moved to have so much support.

Also today, everybody also gathers in fancy dress at The Woolpack, Finn and Ross are determined to enjoy themselves, Val and Pollard reminisce about happier times. Ali is hostile towards Harriet, and Rishi tries to get Priya to eat as she feigns nausea.

Wednesday

The police return to interview Declan as they want to talk to him about the CCTV. Declan and Charity try to remain composed as DS Reed tells them that one of cameras has been tampered with. Charity continues to manipulate the police into thinking it was Sam who set the fire. It seems her plan is working...

At the same time, Zak tells Jai to give Sam a job as he and Rachel are getting married and will need the money. Jai brings Archie home and announces that he wants to send him to prep school. Sam isn't happy with this and makes Jai aware that both the children will be treated the same. Later in the pub, Rachel is angry at the sight of Declan and Charity drinking together. Charity and Rachel exchange words and Sam wades in to defend her. Bernice lets the cat out of the bag about his possible arrest for the fire.

Meanwhile, Moira hides her disappointment that although she and Cain had a great night, no proposal materialised. At the same time, Cain's frustrations continue as the Barton boys have outstayed their Christmas deadline. Later, after drowning his sorrows in the pub, Cain receives a text from Moira who's injured her foot. As he arrives back, Cain is angered by how close James is to Moira, jealous that he was there to help her before him.

Elsewhere, Bob tries desperately to get Brenda to accept that Gennie has gone, but Brenda admits that she is finding it hard to get over Gennie and doesn't feel she can be happy ever again. Later, Bob is upset when Brenda takes the twins to visit Gennie's grave, but she doesn't understand his concerns.

Also today, Kerry and Dan are worse for wear and have fallen drunkenly asleep under a bush. They stir but then dose off again.

Thursday

Sam is panic-stricken when the police arrest him on suspicion of arson with intent. Rachel is unaware of Sam's arrest until Jai relays the news. Zak and Lisa take her to the police station as she insists it wasn't him.

Under questioning, Sam admits to arguing with Megan, then realises he has given the police motive. Sam is shown CCTV evidence that clearly shows him going inside Home Farm before the fire and his heart sinks with dismay. Things don't look good.

Meanwhile, the police continue to question the villagers about the fire. Declan worries about the investigation being slow. He and Charity put a good show on for Debbie over Sam's arrest, but once she leaves, they share a moment of relief their plan is working. Soon the police probe Diane and Bernice about the argument Sam and Megan had. It seems that the finger of suspicion is well and truly on Sam.

Elsewhere, Moira's foot isn't getting any better and neither is the tension between Cain and the Barton boys. James finds Moira in agony and persuades her to let him take her to hospital. When Cain arrives at A&E, he's not happy to see James and gives him his marching orders. Moira is surprised but happy to see Cain waiting for her instead of James.

Also, Debbie is unimpressed to learn that Cain has given Ross his job back and flips out at Ross, Ruby tells Ali she may be pregnant, while Val gets a new chambermaid - Finn.

Friday

With the evidence being circumstantial, Charity needs a new plan and Sam's Christmas jumper could the answer. Charity takes her opportunity to grab Sam's jumper, which, despite her guilt, she hands to Declan to douse with the very same petrol that started the fire. They decide to plant it on Home Farm land, ready for the police to find.

Later, Zak is determined the family should stick together and they decide to put on an impromptu engagement party for Rachel and Sam to boost morale. Over at Mulberry, Charity's conscience starts to kick in as she realises Sam is well and truly fitted up…

Meanwhile, Ruby tells Rachel about her pregnancy news and Dan is chuffed to hear. However, when Kerry arrives, they worry how she will react.

Elsewhere, James drops an unenthusiastic Finn off outside the B&B for his first day at work. Finn instantly finds himself hating the job as a sour Pollard sternly barks his orders. Finn and Victoria complain about their jobs, and Finn decides to try and get the sack.

Also today, Robbie focuses on getting revenge and vandalises the Dingles' van.

Under questioning, Sam tries to explain why he lied about returning to Home Farm. At the same time, the police are at the Dingles' to search for evidence. Later, in an attempt to cover for Rachel, Sam lies about it being his idea to steal from Declan and admits to knocking coal onto the floor. The police don't seem to believe his version of events.

Charity has a flicker of guilt about Sam, but soon refocuses as she and Declan begin to worry their plan is falling apart with DS Reed admitting the evidence against Sam is circumstantial.

Meanwhile, Ali is on tenterhooks waiting for Ruby to do the pregnancy test. The pair are over the moon at the positive result and discuss who to tell first.

Elsewhere, Cain gives Ross an official warning which Ross shrugs off as he stares at Debbie inscrutably. Debbie reassures Cain she can handle Ross.
