The Branning family will get a new pet when Abi takes in a stray dog on EastEnders next week.
After initially being undecided about whether to spend Christmas with Tanya or Max, Lauren tells Max they will spend Christmas with him after her rendezvous with Jake.

However, it soon becomes clear that they will also be joined by a stray dog named Tramp that Max allows Abi to keep after she rescues him from the street.
Fans may already know that Mick Carter's family also have a pet dog joining them when they take over the Vic on Christmas Day.
