Meanwhile, Emmerdale's Priya Sharma has an emotional day for all the wrong reasons as she and David Metcalfe attend their first baby scan together.

The former couple begin to bond again as they are excited to see their unborn child for the first time, but Priya (Fiona Wade) soon misreads the signals by leaning in for a kiss with David.

David (Matthew Wolfenden) is quick to back away, and makes it very clear that he has moved on when he finally breaks the news that he'll be marrying Alicia Harding at Christmas.

Hurt to be rejected by David again, it all becomes too much for Priya - will she carve David out of their baby's life?

Monday

David and Priya are at the hospital for their first scan. The pair bond as they marvel over their baby, but Priya misreads the signs and goes in for a kiss.

It's a kick in the teeth for Priya when not only does David back away, but also breaks the news that he and Alicia are getting married. As it's all too much for Priya, will she carve David out of their baby's life?

Meanwhile, Charity attempts to cover her pain about Jai. At the same time, Georgia tells a shaken Jai to get his solicitor on the case. Noah is angry when Charity tells her it's over between her and Jai, whilst Rachel warns Charity to direct her anger at him, leaving her and Archie out of it. It seems Charity is set to take that advice when she insists to Jai that she will make sure Noah hates him.

Elsewhere, Moira is missing Cain like crazy and later confides in a shocked Zak that Cain proposed to her.

Also today, Ashley gets wind that Harriet turned down the job and offers it back to her, but will she accept?


Tuesday

With James's farm having been repossessed, Moira stands firm, telling him that he needs to face facts - there is no farm for him to go back to. Moira is awkward when an emotional James is over friendly towards her.

Later, Moira is put in a difficult position when Finn and Pete ask if they can stay. But Moira is left unsettled when Zak questions James's intentions.

Meanwhile, as David worries that he may never see his baby, Alicia worries about how her own son will take the news. Jacob freaks when the pair eventually tell him, but David assures Alicia that he will come round, though she remains unconvinced. Later, Bernice announces David and Alicia's engagement, which shatters an already emotional Priya.

Elsewhere, Ashley tells Sandy that he has resigned and Harriet finally accepts the vicar's job, but it's not long before her ideas are met with some hostility.

Also today, Charity turns down Jai's offer of a trust fund for Noah, but takes comfort from Debbie's support.


Wednesday

There's tension at Home Farm as the new arrivals try to get along together. Zak is very worried about how Cain will react to James and his sons moving in, and he's particularly worried about James being around Moira. Zak leaves Cain a message, urging him to come home.

Later, Moira and James are dressed up and just about to leave for a farmers' party when out of the blue Cain returns. Moira is angry, demanding an explanation. Headstrong Moira is not in the mood for Cain's games and he is shocked when she and James head out to the party regardless.

Meanwhile, Charity tries to carry on as normal, but Debbie is wondering when she will blow and unleash her full fury. Priya and Rishi worry when Jai tells them he is going to the solicitors. At the haulage office, Jimmy is annoyed by Charity and tells Debbie to take her to the pub. Charity is thrown when Jai hands her divorce papers to sign. Charity shows him exactly what she thinks when she knees him in the crotch and storms out.

Elsewhere, Edna prepares the nativity set, but she and Ashley are worried when new vicar Harriet says there's a change of plan. Harriet plans to abolish the nativity. Edna holds fast but Harriet is determined - the nativity must go. She is adamant that she's going to put her own stamp on the place now she is in charge.

Also today, Pollard is exasperated as Val and Kerry continue to try to outdo one another on Christmas decorations. But Val has got mischief in mind as she sets out into the street with a saw!

Finally, Ross takes an interest in Charity.


Thursday

Charity covers her hurt with bravado as she insists to Debbie that she's going to come out on top in the divorce. Later, Jimmy reminds Charity that Rishi's money was used to buy into the company. Worried, Charity needs a creative solicitor's number. Charity's new solicitor tells her that she will need to play dirty to get results. She is more than happy now that she is completely focused on revenge.

When Jai offers Charity a fantastic settlement, she is thrown as it's not what she had expected. She is deflated that Jai is not putting up more of a fight. Fuelled with anger, she starts drinking and flirting with Ross, before snogging him in front of a fuming Jai. Realising she's getting a reaction from Jai, Charity invites Ross back to Holdgate and steers him upstairs to bed. She looks forward to Jai returning home.

Meanwhile, Dan is intrigued when Kerry comes back with a secret weapon, determined that Val won't win the lights war. At the same time, Pollard is exasperated by Val's obsession with beating Kerry in the tinsel wars. Later, journalists and photographers arrive to view the displays. Both Kerry and Val are determined to steal the limelight, but Kerry has got a few surprises up her sleeve...

Elsewhere, Cain is unhappy with the new set-up and is irked that Ross is working at the garage. He can't resist hinting at Ross being a thief, forcing Moira to tell James the truth over what Ross has been up to. Cain is pleased to see the friction building between Moira and James. Back at the garage, Debbie gives a surprised Ross a cash bonus and a permanent job. James is preparing to leave, hoping to take Ross away with him. But when Ross arrives home with presents for Moira, he is shocked to be accused of stealing them by his dad.

Also, Jacob blurts out Priya's pregnancy news and Dom tries to get him to apologise, but Jacob runs out. As the word spreads, Priya is surprised to learn that Dom has known about Alicia and David's engagement for weeks.

Finally, Sam is worried about Home Farm now Declan is on his own. He and Zak encourage Robbie to check on Declan. Later, Robbie lets himself into Home Farm and is surprised to see it in complete disarray.


It doesn't faze Ross that he is in Jai's bed as he and Charity kiss. Charity is excited at the thought of Jai returning home and catching them. At the same time, Jai broods in the pub, with Rishi refusing to let him go home and cry.

Later, Charity panics when Ross is about to leave without Jai having returned. Needing to delay him, she pounces on him again. Jai and Rishi eventually return home and Charity gleefully makes her way to the top of the stairs with Ross in tow. Jai darkens to see them. Will Charity get the reaction she wants out of Jai?

Meanwhile, Amelia glows with pride after her star appearance in Kerry's light display. Kerry is chuffed that everything seems to be going well. However, when Val accidentally sets the snow machine to full, Kerry fumes. Ready to do battle, she turns the machine on Val and the two women start to wrestle in the snow. With the battle getting more heated, what will it take to end their war?

Elsewhere, at Home Farm, a dishevelled Declan finds Robbie tidying up. Declan explains that he has given up and blames Megan for his mess. Hacked off with his attitude, Robbie leaves, but he begs Katie to return with him and try to talk sense into Declan. Katie and Robbie arrive at Home Farm to find bailiffs and removal men ransacking the house. Declan snaps at Robbie, telling him he has nothing left. Katie leaves, rattled by Declan's vitriol. Declan offers Robbie whisky, encouraging him to drink to his demise, but Robbie refuses, leaving Declan alone and uncaring in his house. Is this the worst things can get for Declan?

Also Paddy refuses to decorate the surgery for Christmas and turns down being a replacement Santa at the grotto.

Finally, Dom tries to encourage Jacob to talk to David about his fears, while Cain is annoyed when James decides to stay on at the farm after all but is soon distracted as he and Moira kiss and make up.



Friday

At Home Farm, Robbie is scared for Declan. He looks round at the mess and calls Megan, telling her to get home. At the same time, Declan is alone in the woods. He marches further in, carrying a shotgun. Later, a gunshot is heard. What has Declan done?

Meanwhile, the farm is feeling overcrowded. James is optimistic about a buyer's visit, while Cain is gutted about the fact James will be staying. Moira offers James support when things don't go to plan. Debbie tells Ross that he's fired after sleeping with Charity and insists to Cain that he has to talk to her mum before things get a lot worse.

Elsewhere, Rishi warns Jai to watch his back with Charity. At the same time, Debbie tells Charity that Cain won't be impressed about her antics with Ross. She wants Charity to just accept Jai's offer and forget about him. Later, Charity notices Jai playing with Rachel and Archie in the playground, and she can't help but head over. A confrontation ensues as Jai tells her to leave. Charity is left furious - the fight is on.

Also today, Victoria discovers Finn is gay and the pair soften towards each other as she offers to be a mate.

Finally, Marlon hoodwinks Paddy to try and get him to be Santa.

Emmerdale's Charity Sharma continues to try and get revenge on husband Jai next week by having a surprise fling with Ross Barton.

Charity (Emma Atkins) is desperate to cover her hurt after Jai (Chris Bisson) hands her divorce papers and she insists to Debbie (Charley Webb) that she's going to come out on top in the divorce.

When Jimmy reminds Charity that Rishi's money was used to buy into the company, Charity is left worried.

When Jai and Rishi eventually return home and Charity gleefully makes her way to the top of the stairs with Ross in tow. Jai is furious and lunges at Ross. Has Charity finally got the reaction she wanted?

When Declan (Jason Merrells) explains to Robbie (Jamie Shelton) that he has given up on everything, and holds Megan responsible for his mess, Robbie tries to get Katie to talk some sense into him.
