Joey has a startling revelation for David about Janine.
Unable to face what she has found, Carol puts off the inevitable until Morgan makes her realise what’s important in life.
Dot is left terrified when she realises she has been deceived in the worst way possible.
Tuesday
After an afternoon with David, Carol finally faces her fears.
Ava contemplates taking up the job offer in Newcastle, but will she leave Walford and her family behind forever?
Realising they will be alone and broke this Christmas, Tina has a suggestion for Shirley.
Thursday
David worries he has ruined the trust he built with Janine, but will he be able to use his charm to win her back round?
Tina decides to surprise Shirley, but things don’t go to plan as Shirley locks horns with her old adversary – her sister-in-law Linda.
Having not heard from Peter while he has been away, Lola fears he doesn’t want to be with her anymore, so she is quick to confront him when he returns to Walford.
Friday
David's plot to elicit the truth from Janine takes an unexpected turn when he's forced to face his own demons at Pat's grave.
Meanwhile, Kat and Alfie save the day when the local OAPs are left high and dry; and Shirley pays a visit to a ghost of Christmas past.

EastEnders fans will see David Wicks become embroiled in Janine Butcher's dark storyline later this month.
Janine (Charlie Brooks) is currently trying to cover up the fact that she was responsible for the murder of her estranged husband Michael Moon at Halloween.
With Joey Branning (David Witts) suspicious over Janine's involvement, he finally confronts her at the Queen Vic and demands answers over what really happened on the night Michael died.

Dot (June Brown) becomes the victim of a cruel crime after finally reaching the desired total for the church roof fund.

The drama begins when Dot contacts the electricity board to report problems with her lights at home.
Dot later receives a visit from someone claiming to be from the board, but the man who shows up sneaks in an accomplice who steals the entire fund when Dot is distracted.
Horrified to have lost the cash after weeks of hard work, Dot decides that she can't let the church down and ends up using the last of her own savings to get the fund back up.
Later, Dot tries to pretend that nothing is wrong as she poses for photos with a giant cheque, having decided not to tell anyone about the theft she has suffered. However, with Dot feeling frightened and alone, it's clear that she won't get over this incident easily…

As an argument breaks out, it's revealed that Shirley (Linda Henry) was responsible for an accident that burnt down Linda and Mick's pub 15 years ago.
Shirley and Mick haven't spoken to each other since, so Linda's hesitance is understandable.
When Shirley and Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) finally tire of Linda's insults, they head back to Walford - where Tina reveals that she has secretly stolen some raffle takings from the pub…

Carol Jackson comes close to reigniting her relationship with David Wicks on EastEnders later this month.
The former couple grow closer after Carol (Lindsey Coulson) finds a lump on her breast and becomes increasingly worried over her health.
Although Carol doesn't confide in David or anyone else about what she has found, she does start to let her guard down around her former flame as she awaits an appointment with her doctor.
Heading to a hotel restaurant with David, a troubled Carol gets increasingly tipsy and starts to reciprocate some of her ex's advances.

Ava Hartman bids farewell to Albert Square on EastEnders later this month, as she heads off to start a new job in Newcastle.
As Dexter's (Khali Best) destructive behaviour continues, he becomes determined to track Sam down, stealing his address from Ava's bag.

However, Dexter gets a shock when he finally catches up with his dad anddiscovers the truth about why he tracked him down in the first place.
The pair have a confrontation and a furious Dexter then heads back to Ava (Clare Perkins), determined to make amends for his actions over the last few weeks
When Cora mentions that Ava gave up the opportunity of a job in Newcastle to make sure she was around for him, Dexter then feels even more guilty.
Later on, Ava arrives home to find Dexter has packed her bags and contacted the job to tell them she has reconsidered.
