Monday

Moira tells Charity to keep away from Cain, as she knows she threw herself at him. The ladies spar in the garage, but both are oblivious of Dan, who is in agony having trapped his hand in a car engine.

Later, Cain tells Charity that her car has been stolen. Cain arrives home at the farm to a frosty reception from Moira, who wonders where he has been. He tells Moira that he feels second best to John, and to give them some space he is off to Italy to do a job.

Meanwhile, Megan and Declan prepare for a Vegas night to woo investors. Nicola knocks back the cocktails before standing in as the roulette dealer. Declan is furious to see Katie arrive. Nicola gets so drunk that she falls about making a mess of the game. Declan takes the biggest gamble of his life, betting his entire property portfolio in exchange for Gil's investment in the hotel. As the roulette wheel turns, everyone waits in horror.

Suddenly, an aghast Megan rushes in - she can't believe Declan is so reckless as to gamble everything. Megan steps in to halt the bet, believing she is doing the right thing, but is she? Later, once the guests have gone, Katie and Robbie are shocked as a furious Declan unleashes his anger on his sister.

Elsewhere, when Ali wants to write to the Bishop to complain about Harriet's methods, Harriet accuses Ashley of underhand tactics. Harriet explains to Ali what ramifications her letter could have on her family and yet again Ashley feels outmanoeuvred by her.

Also today, Dan comes off worse when Betty practices her self-defence moves, Val is touched to get a card from Amy but is disheartened there's no return address, while Adam thinks he is in with Katie until Victoria ruins it for him.

Tuesday

Fed up with Ross and Adam's constant bickering, Moira tells Ross to take Cain's place at the garage. Debbie reluctantly agrees when Dan claims that he can't work due to his injuries. Ross grins as he sets his sights on Debbie. Will steely Debbie be immune to his charms?

Later in the pub, Ross bets Adam twenty quid he can't pull Katie again. Adam is pleased when he and Katie head home together. Things go well as they get intimate, until like a bad penny Ross turns up. Katie gets wind of the bet and is furious to have been set up.

Meanwhile, Robbie tries to stand up for Megan, but Declan tells him it's none of his business. Robbie's frustration grows when Megan tries to downplay matters. Gossip about Declan hitting Megan is spreading quickly and a concerned Zak decides to go and see how she is coping. Feisty Nicola stands up to Declan, calling him desperate and querying if he's truly having a breakdown. Nicola also tries to make Megan see sense, telling her to get out before it's too late.

Later, Zak encourages a nervous Megan to confide in him as he questions her relationship with Declan. Megan is left torn when Zak encourages her to stay with them, worried Declan is mentally unstable. Will Megan heed the advice, or is she in total denial?

Elsewhere, Kerry cheers up when Dan suggests they fight back and outdo Val and her Christmas lights. Val is outraged to see that Dan and Kerry have bought more Christmas decorations, and the women declare a 'light' war on each other.

Also today, Moira is later pleased to clear the air with Diane.


Wednesday

Robbie is unhappy to leave Megan with Declan. In the café, a determined Megan stuns Gil when she tells him that she'd like to take him up on his job offer. Declan is stunned when Megan shares the news with him, telling him that she's moving out today.

Desperate for Megan to stay, Declan is devastated when she sticks to her word, telling him that it's better for both of them if she goes. Megan makes Robbie promise that he'll stay living with Declan as she is worried he is heading for a meltdown. Is she right to be concerned?

Meanwhile, Rachel worries Charity is out for revenge, and Jai begins to seriously worry when Rachel doesn't turn up to collect Archie. Charity tries to keep it together when she finds Jai playing happy families with Rachel and Archie. She is thrown to hear that it's Archie's birthday tomorrow. Grudgingly Charity suggests they throw Archie's birthday party at Holdgate. Later, Charity admits to a worried Debbie that she doesn't know how much longer she can keep it in, acknowledging she is a ticking time bomb.

Elsewhere, Priya is unimpressed when Georgia tries to set her up with a personal trainer. But there is an upside, as Priya gets a reaction out of David as she flirts with personal trainer Rhys when they arrange a date for tomorrow.

Also today, Ross winds Adam up about Katie, while Katie wonders if she's got Adam wrong.

Finally, the war continues between Kerry and Val as they try to outdo each other with their Christmas decorations. Dan and David struggle to put Kerry's massive Christmas tree up.


Thursday

Charity is putting on a brave face over Archie's birthday, but she is struggling to keep a lid on her feelings. Debbie admits her fears about Charity to Lisa. Soon afterwards, Lisa is shocked to see intent in Charity's eye as she sits behind the wheel of her car ready to mow down Rachel and Archie. Charity revs up the engine - has Charity's really lost her mind enough to wipe out Archie and Rachel in one hit?

Later, everything has got too much for Charity, who tells Jai he has a big decision to make…

Meanwhile, David and Alicia are frustrated that they still haven't told Priya about the wedding. At the same time, Priya gets ready for her lunch date with Rhys. Spotting Priya, David is about to tell her about the wedding, but he and Alicia realise she's on a date. Priya is soon bored until she spots David watching and laughs loudly. Rhys is dull, but Priya sees him in a new light when she learns how close he is to his nephew, so is aware he is good with kids. David assures Alicia that he's not jealous.

Elsewhere, Ashley is struggling with his presentation and is frustrated when Harriet arrives, wanting some time away. Harriet is hurt that everyone seems to be rooting for Ashley.

Also, Declan is left feeling wretched when Robbie tells him that he and Megan have written him off as he is leaving too.

Finally, Katie is unimpressed when Vanessa arrives to look at the horse, as Katie's last horse died when Vanessa was called out.


Jai reels at what Charity has asked. Charity crumbles as she admits that she can't cope with how things are, and Jai is shocked at her vulnerability. Charity is defiant - he has to tell her what he wants. As Georgia enters with presents for Archie, Jai tells her what Charity has asked him to do.

Later, as the nativity is in full swing and parents look on proudly, Charity arrives and awaits Jai and his decision on tenterhooks. She is dejected until Jai rushes in and their eyes lock. Charity is full of hope and confusion as she awaits his response.

Meanwhile, Alicia is hopeful as she sees Priya with Rhys, suggesting now is the perfect time to tell her about their wedding. However, David is once again left frustrated as he is unable to tell her about the wedding. Alicia is adamant that they'll do it together tomorrow.

Elsewhere, chemistry fizzles between Adam and Katie and it's soon back on between them.

Also, there is café chaos when Bob leaves a stressed Ashley in charge. Ashley frets about his interview and is angry at Harriet. When Ashley and Harriet have a heart-to-heart, could there be a thawing between them?
