Coronation Street's Peter Barlow is left with a life-changing decision to make on his wedding day next month.

It should be the happiest moment of Peter's life as he prepares to marry Underworld boss Carla Connor, but he is confused and conflicted over his feelings as the ceremony gets under way.

In the build-up to the big day, Peter (Chris Gascoyne (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/celebrities/chris-gascoyne/)) struggles to resist the temptation to cheat on Carla, having developed feelings for Rovers Return barmaid Tina McIntyre.

With Tina also growing attracted to Peter, the former bookie is at a crossroads as he has to decide which woman is right for him.

On the day of the wedding, Carla (Alison King) fears that Peter will have second thoughts about marrying her as they've spent so much time arguing recently.

Tina (Michelle Keegan) is also doubtful over whether the ceremony will go ahead, reminding Peter that he can still back out of the wedding if he wants to.

Later, as Carla walks down the aisle to join Peter, Tina watches and is tortured by her jealousy. Will Peter go ahead with the wedding knowing that he has feelings for someone else? And how long will it take before he gives into temptation with Tina?

An apologetic Peter assures Carla that he'll be at the wedding, although he's still annoyed at her for inviting Rob.

Later, when Simon has last minute nerves and tells Peter that he doesn't want to be his best man, a stressed Carla screams at Peter. Can he persuade Steve to step up to the mark?

Meanwhile, Christian calls in the café looking for Hayley. A stunned Fiz tells him to leave, but Christian is adamant that he wants to see Hayley. Will she let slip about Hayley's cancer?

Elsewhere, Tim blames himself for Faye's recent behaviour, knowing he's a useless role model. Sally reckons he should start by having a bit of ambition and looking for a better job.

Also today, Dev vows to kick start a healthy lifestyle.

Frustrated at Peter's lack of interest in the wedding details, Carla leaves for her dress fitting. Feeling the strain, Peter takes out a bottle of wine, but is snapped from his tormented reverie when Tina calls the intercom.

The air is thick with sexual tension as Tina and Peter flirt outrageously, but when an impulsive Carla decides that she wants to spend the night before her wedding with her man, what will she find?

Meanwhile, Christian becomes aggressive, so Fiz and Chesney send him packing. Not wanting to add to Hayley's stress, can Fiz bring herself to tell Hayley about Christian's visit?

Elsewhere, Tim runs his business ideas past Jason as Eva and Sally bicker. Both realise they want different things out of the business and decide to part ways.

Also today, Dev sets off on his first run.

Elsewhere, when Tim turns up in a beaten up old horsebox, Sally is horrified. She's left red faced when it breaks down outside the wedding venue, blocking the road.

Also today, David proves his worth back at the salon.

Finally, Mary shames Dev into keeping on the straight and narrow.

Friday

Christian persuades Roy to let him see Hayley, making out that he's had a change of heart. Christian tells Hayley that he wants to introduce her to his wife and children.

However, when Christian then asks for £5,000, will the real reason for his visit become apparent?

Meanwhile, Tina and Peter are feeling guilty. Peter tries to talk to Tina in The Rovers and waits for her in the backyard, but when Carla turns up asking for the factory keys, how will they explain themselves?

Elsewhere, Audrey has agreed to let David work at the salon, but tells him to keep a low profile as she needs to speak to Gail, Kylie and Nick. But when Kylie comes in for an appointment, will David be able to make himself scarce on time?

Also, Tim moves into Number 4 with Sally.

Roy is worried that Hayley is being taken advantage of as she accepts Christian's request for money in exchange for seeing her grandkids.

It's a bittersweet moment for Hayley as she watches Roy happily play with the children and imagines a life she might have had. As Hayley bids goodbye, she's heartbroken. Could this be the last time she'll ever see her grandkids?

Meanwhile, Peter tells Tina that the kiss was a mistake and won't happen again. Tina is not pleased and Peter is left fearing her reaction to being given the brush-off. As a fuming Tina strides over to speak to Carla, what will she say?

Coronation Street's Peter Barlow commits the ultimate betrayal in tonight's episode (December 4) as he cheats on his partner Carla Connor on their wedding day.

Peter, played by Chris Gascoyne, finally gives in to temptation by kissing Tina McIntyre following days of chemistry between the pair.

Viewers have seen the two characters grow closer since Tina started working as a babysitter for Peter's son Simon.

With Tina and Peter quickly falling for each other, fans will have to tune in this evening to find out whether Peter will go ahead with the ceremony. Could the womaniser's feelings for Tina crush Carla's dream of a perfect wedding day?

Speaking recently about the wedding day drama, Tina's portrayer Michelle Keegan commented: "Tina's anxious. I think she's really nervous about how the day is going to pan out, how it's going to make her feel and how she'll cope if Peter does go through with it and marry Carla. She's on absolute pins as she waits for him and Carla to turn up for the wedding."

Asked how Tina would feel if Peter goes through with the vows, she replied: "It would kill her, I don't know whether she'd be able to stay around and watch their marriage unfold. The thought of being the 'other woman' pains her so much. but I think the thought of not being near him at all hurts her even more."

Coronation Street airs a special hour-long episode tonight from 7.30pm on ITV.

Coronation Street's Hayley Cropper gets a chance to meet her grandchildren in emotional scenes this evening (December 6).

Tonight's episodes see terminally ill Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh) receive a surprise as her son Christian (Andrew Turner) returns to the café and offers to bring his two kids in for a visit.

Hayley is touched by Christian's seemingly kind gesture, but he soon shows an ulterior motive by admitting that he needs £5,000 from her to pay off some debts.

Even though Hayley knows Christian is only using her, she takes up the opportunity to see her grandkids while she still can. Getting a taste of the life she could have enjoyed, will it all be too much for Hayley?
