Meanwhile, Coronation Street's Peter Barlow finds himself in David Platt's firing line as he tries to protect Tina McIntyre.
Peter (Chris Gascoyne) steps in at The Rovers when a drunk and aggressive David tries to force his way behind the bar, having been refused service by Tina.
Wanting to help Tina and also sympathising with David (Jack P Shepherd), Peter escorts him out of the pub.
Unsurprisingly, David doesn't appreciate Peter's interference and takes his frustrations out on the ex-bookie, turning violent and daring him to respond.
When the row escalates, Peter ends up getting a cut to the eye as Tina, Gail and Deirdre watch on in horror...

Peter loses his temper with David.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Sunday, November 17 at 7pm on ITV.
Sunday (1)
Having slept rough, David is forlorn and bedraggled. He watches Gail and Kylie, the family he's lost, from a distance.
Feeling depressed, David forces his way behind the Rovers bar and demands a drink from Tina. But when David becomes aggressive towards her, will Peter step in?
Meanwhile, a smitten Sean asks Todd to go for a drink with him after work, but a sneaky Todd says that he has no money. Sean promises that he'll treat him. Taking advantage of Sean's growing affection for him, Todd agrees. Bored on the Streetcars switch, Todd takes a call for an airport run, but with no drivers available and spotting the keys to the spare cab, does Todd sense an opportunity to earn some extra cash?
Elsewhere, Hayley energetically throws herself into making Carla's dress, but worries she's taken on too much.
Also, Nick prepares himself for his first proper day at work, while Brian gets offered a job.
Sunday (2)
Outside The Rovers, David taunts Peter, daring him to hit him. Peter gets a cut to the eye as Gail and Deirdre watch on in horror.
Kylie then tells David to move away or she will report his crimes to the police. A conflicted Gail is at a loss - she still loves her son, despite all that he's done. Can she persuade Audrey to take him in?
Meanwhile, an anxious Lloyd and Eileen are trying to raise the missing cab on the radio as Todd sits in the car happily counting his money. He casually saunters into Streetcars, with a well rehearsed excuse of what happened to the cab. Will Eileen and Lloyd be fooled?
Elsewhere, Roy feels increasingly left out as Hayley's time continues to be consumed by Carla's wedding. However, seeing how happy in the moment Hayley is, he feels his lie is justified.
Also, Brian gears himself up to tell Julie the truth that he doesn't want to foster.
Monday (1)
Leanne is hopeful that things are getting back to normal as Nick sets off for a meeting with a wine supplier, but he returns seeming edgy and Leanne discovers that he never made it to the meeting due to a memory lapse.
When Nick then snaps at Simon, are Leanne's hope for normality quickly fading?
Meanwhile, a twitchy Julie is nervous about her meeting with the foster agent, but is assured by Eileen that she has nothing to worry about with rock-solid Brian by her side. However, unaware to Julie, Brian has an interview for his new job an hour before the foster meeting. Can Brian attend the interview and make it back in time for the foster meeting, or will he let Julie down?
Elsewhere, Grace and Faye throw stones at Mary's motor home and then hide. Suspecting it's the girls, she sets off in a rage to find Anna.
Also, Beth sneaks an amused Sinead's knickers into her batch.
Monday (2)
Leanne chides Nick for losing his temper with Simon and she is deeply concerned when he snaps at Gloria.
Nick, however, is confused - clearly unaware of his own mood swings. When Tina tells Peter of Nick's outburst, how will Peter react?
Meanwhile, having been offered the job in Wales, Brian is now late for the foster meeting and arrives to find a panicked Julie apologising to the agent. But with Julie singing his praises and the foster agent seeming positive about the process, Brian feels the pressure and takes drastic action. Is Brian really prepared to shatter Julie's dreams?
Elsewhere, at dinner, Anna asks Grace and Faye about the incident with Mary. Faye is nervous, but Grace coolly notes that they were at dance practice. Anna believes them but Izzy is less convinced. Will Anna be sucked in by Grace's manipulative ways?
Also, with the help of Sinead, Beth is confident of beating Fiz.
Wednesday
Snowed under with invoices, Nick starts badgering an already harassed Leanne. Not wanting to get under everyone's feet, he eventually heads out.
Later, when Tina goes to pick up Simon from school, he's nowhere to be seen. Does a confused Nick have anything to do with Simon's disappearance?
Meanwhile, Julie is feeling optimistic about being approved for fostering and suggests that she and Brian should decorate the spare room for their new arrival. Under pressure, Brian pretends that he's had a call from the foster agent. Will he shatter Julie's dream?
Elsewhere when Faye tells Grace that she feels sorry for Simon, Grace mocks her and leaves. Faye is clearly hurt and Anna wonders what's the matter.
Also today, Beth is ecstatic to find out that she's now in the lead on knicker productivity.
Friday (1)
Anna admits to Izzy that she's starting to think Owen might be right - there's something not right about Grace. Tracy gives Faye the keys to Number 1 and asks her, Grace, Simon and Amy to walk Eccles for her.
With the house to themselves, Amy and Simon are overwhelmed as Grace and Faye run wild. When Simon tries to leave, Grace blocks his path and asks Faye to back her up - but what does she have in store for Simon?
Meanwhile, Leanne explains to a confused Simon that after the incident with Nick, he has to stay with Peter and Carla all the time now. Struggling with the weight of his actions, Nick confides in Gail that he's worried his condition is taking its toll on Leanne. Gail tries to reassure him, but will his constant reliance on Leanne be too much for her?
Elsewhere, Steve heads off for his first day at college and pretends to be hurt when Michelle and Liz jokingly deride his academic ambitions.
Also, Kirk finds a pair of knickers in Beth's handbag and she's forced to admit the truth.
Friday (2)
A terrified Simon tells Nick and Leanne how Faye pinned him down while Grace dressed him up and smeared him in make-up. Grace proudly reminds Faye that she's recorded everything.
Disgusted by Faye's actions, Leanne turns up at Anna's and rails at Faye. Under pressure, will Faye reveal Grace's involvement?
Meanwhile, when Steve and Liz find out how Tracy left four children to their own devices, Liz tells Tracy that she's an unfit mother and Amy is coming to live with them.
Elsewhere, Steve is thinking of quitting his course because it was too difficult, but Michelle urges him to find a friend.
Also, Sinead is offered a job.

why are michelle and liz mocking steve for trying to better himself this is a good thing
Not exactly the brightest people, are they, will make them feel very much inferior if Steve turns out to be brainier than expected ???
Well he did'nt get a good start in life especially with Jim as his father. Hope he gains a qualification.
Watching Mary made me cry. Bullying and harassment is so cruel.
