I think Faye needs a real friend to get her to calm down a bit, but this really isn't the kind of friend that she needs. It sounds like she could be Evil David No2 in the making here.

Coronation Street producer Stuart Blackburn has spoken to Digital Spy about tough times ahead for Weatherfield youngster Simon Barlow.

Viewers have already seen Simon (Alex Bain) experience the nasty side of Faye Windass's new friend Grace Piper. However, the situation becomes more serious later this month as Grace steps up her attempts to humiliate Simon.

Our video sees the show's boss confirm that the story will delve into the issue of cyberbullying, as Simon ends up being targeted online as well as in person.

Next week, viewers will see Grace and Faye overpower Simon when left alone with him at Deirdre's house - smearing him in make-up and dressing him up.

As Grace records the incident, Simon's humiliation may not be over even after he manages to escape the clutches of the two girls.

Coronation Street continues tonight (November 11) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.

Poor Simon :( He's been through enough without this. I couldn't stand Faye before Grace appeared and she's even worse now.

Good that corrie is highlighting what young people face now. It's a different world from our youth.
