Katy Perry has premiered her new lyric video online.
The singer has released 'Roar' as the lead cut to be lifted from her upcoming third studio album Prism.
The accompanying lyric video sees Perry wake up and start to type the song's lyrics into her messaging app on her smartphone, substituting some words for emoji icons.
The visual ends with the star holding her pet kitty in the air and kissing its head.
Perry's new single 'Roar' is available to download in the US now and will be released in the UK on September 8.
The star's new album Prism will follow on October 22.
